Not good I'm afraid. Tried to retrieve a quote but had a prompt showing 'No valid policies'. Started a chat and was advised to go through my current details to check for changes. I was then offered an upgrade to the breakdown cover. I suggested the upgrade would be dependent on my acceptance of the renewal quote. I was told to check my email for a new link to access the portal and retrieve the quote. The email did not arrive.

this company does give good prices but their so called included free breakdown is not free haha.you get charged £35 for each call out .so its only free if u dont use it ,in fact i dont know how they get away with advertising free breakdown thats not free .maybe its one for the insurance regulator . another very annoying thing they do is email you every day when your car insurance is due !!!.this hardl inspires the customer to take a policy out with them .ive had to add their emails to the spam folder as im sick of seeing them already and my insurance aint due to be paid for another 21 days arrrggg !!!!. yep ive lost interest in this lot sadly.

It has taken me nearly 4hrs to add another driver to my policy! The last person Habbrissa was most helpful.

Graham was very helpful. He confirmed that I was due a refund which I had not received. He stated he would put the request through again. He did not know why I hadn’t received it. He asked me to confirm what my payment details were. Hopefully I will get it this time.

I will first admit that my request to cancel my insurance was quick with no fuss. However, it was incredibly difficult to actually get in contact with the company. I couldn’t find any phone number, and the pages on the website i found told me to go to the portal to cancel and get up to £15 discount, but when I clicked the link it just sent me back to the home page. I ended up having to use the Live Chat and paying £55.99 with no refunds. This is so disappointing, hence the reason I cancelled and switched my insurance.

My first chat on the online portal was absolutely shocking” Alisha “ It took 40 mins since she starting chatting with me to ask for a change of vehicle price to which I did not even get a price just got disconnected She took 10 mins inbetween my response to talk to me I was so frustrated her service was so poor At one point she said about £450.00 Then said sorry ignore that them carried back through with asking me stupid questions.

astonished that the price to cancel the insurance is almost £60!!! very slow chat service then i was asked to complete a review because you've got a competition running for your staff!!!! Seriously you're charging me £60 to cancel my car insurance and then want me to review so she can win??? i've always rated onecall very highly but i have to admit to being disappointed.

I now know made terrible mistake taking out insurance,Live chat wow cant give out contact phone numbers as we are changed to online need to use portal ,I prefer phone contact ,Insurance not due for over 16 day trying to cancel insurance, Disgusted to say the lease:Service is not what it used to be with this company! Who need to remember the 14 day cooling off period regards to cancellation.

My live chat person (CL6) was fantastic; I gave 2 stars overall to Onecall because: 1) I spent an hour on a live chat this morning and then it crashed so I had to queue for another live chat (with CL6) to finish off the business; and 2) because Onecall seem to find an excuse to extra fees for almost anything (e.g. my car insurance renewal quote last week was £449; this went up to £574 (inc of broker fee etc) today when I provided updated info - I accepted this increased premium; but then when they asked for the payment difference they said it was £166 to pay - so a total of £615, not £574 - at no time was I told what the £41 difference was for. With well over an hour of live chat and nearly 2 hours spent this morning in total (inc the queing) I had almost lost the will to live to I just paid it.

Hate the fact you can not chat with a human instead of a portal, the breakdown cover leaves a lot to be desired, can't cancel renewal online even though it is 31 days away, had to wait 1 hour on portal chat to do this. Charlie H was very helpful though.

I can not get into the portal to view or download my documents.I have tried on several occasions to try and get in touch with one call insurance to resolve my problem

Very pleased with price and ease of setting up my bike insurance policy. BUT when after only a couple of months having the policy I had to sell my bike due to ill health I had great difficulty in contacting One Call to cancel my policy. When I finally managed to get through on live chat. (could not get through by phone) I was told I would not receive any refund of premium even though I had paid the full premium up front. In 50 years of having motorcycle insurance with various companies I have never had such problems. I would not recommend One Call to anyone.

Ref 5953897975 I have requested on several occasions through a letter and e mails to receive a hard copy of my house and insurance policy.I am 80 yrs old and not up to modern technology. Great value policy with load of extras. There is a massive issue when making scheduled changes to policy. Twice I have scheduled a change to be active in five days time. On both occasions the change happened immediately, leaving my uninsured on existing vehicle. Today made a number plate change in 30 minutes time and it's not happened.

Having called to renew my policy. My portal documents are still in my incorrect name. I was sent 3 emails to update my documents, and when I try to log in with new password, it says my address doesn't match!! I give up!

Had to wait in an initial queue to speak to someone for 45 mins. Then when eventually the chat started it was like extracting teeth. All because they needed a validation check which if it had been sent in a email could have taken 5 minutes. Was in chat mode for nearly a hour and oh my days , it was painful. Bad English ,grammar and spelling mistakes I can take but the pauses and lack of communication would test the most patient I'm sure. Would find it hard to recommend this firm and I'm very nervous if anything happens in the course of my cover. Crossed fingers nothing does

I was very disappointed. I wanted to insure my grandson to be able to drive my car whilst he was on an eight day holiday with us, as he now lives in France. He's in his early thirties, with a good track record of 'no claims' and he was just turned down for no apparent reason.

I probably won’t use this company again. The name they call themselves is a joke, they can’t actually be called! I tried to amend my policy through the portal but through no fault of my own it couldn’t be done so ended up on a chat line. I had to wait ages to get a reply then the message system operator seemed very slow to respond to my messages, despite giving all the information and details of my vehicle I kept getting questions that I had already provided answered to. Very frustrating system, had I been able to talk to someone I could have achieved the end result in 20 mins not an hour and a half! And at my cost not theirs despite it being an issue with the portal.
