I wouldn't insure with this company again. Tell you one thing and that doesn't happen, charge you a fortune to cancel your policy when you've berk misled.

Person on live chat was as helpful as he could be but the admin fees were something else - £39 just for adding another driver for 12 hours - extortionate! Needless to say I didn’t take go through with it. Also, I didn’t realise you were on line only - access via live chat. I would prefer to speak to someone on phone so I will think about changing companies next time.

Live chat, this actually means chatting with an agent that's of course chatting to multiple customers. This in turn means every response takes ages. To do a basic task that would take 5mins on the phone takes 10 times as long. A simple cancellation of policy took 1 hour 30 mins to complete, with 4 different agents, all obsessed with asking if email and mobile number was still correct on file. Of course no one else works during the day and mucking around for that amount of time is ludicrous. Passed from agent to agent once explaining what you want to do, only to spend the next 10 mins answering about email address and mobile on each occasion. No telephone contact number as an option. I've learnt my lesson, if a broker doesn't advertise a contact number under 'contact us' avoid and insure elsewhere.

Awful experience, the chat service is clunky, blunt and impersonal. The admin fees are expensive in comparison with other insurance companies. I won't be recommending you...and I'm glad to be able to afford to get out, and start afresh elsewhere. Not impressed!!

This morning 9am my car wouldn't start, no hazard lights, diagnosed as DEAD battery albeit was only fitted 4yrs ago? I have been with ONECALL Breakdown for over 12yrs and used them twice in that time. Today I was hanging on the phone waiting on an answer for over 30mins. Exceptionally bad service for breakdown. Been 75yrs of age with all my marbles, I called a local breakdown company to start the car cost £35.00 I drove to my own local garage 2 miles away, they ordered a battery replacement for me. A BAD ONE CALL EXPERIENCE. About to cancel the Direct Debit.

Live chat ok for simple changes but for more complicated problems you need telephone conversations to make it easier

The fact you can't speak to someone is very disappointing. I have tried to explain something which would have taken a couple of minutes over the phone conversely it has taken over half an hour on the chat forum.

You are called “ One Call “ insurance. However, I needed to talk about my policy and the only way it seemed to do it, was via a “ chat “ online. It took ages to simply council a policy. No way that I would recommend One Call to a friend or family. Not good enough.

All I requested was for my proof of no claims bonus to be emailed to me instead of being sent to me as an attachment as part of my live chat. I was advised that this was not possible which, considering all of your insurance docs are available via email, I find really unhelpful. A customer support contact telephone number would be very useful, instead of there only being a number to report an accident.

After paying for car insurance, they tried to get me to upgrade my policy and buy other insurances. It would be easy to get the free three month extras without realising they would direct debit you every month.

Had problems getting a response from you about an issue with home insurance and was not happy with how it was handled. Also now have two polices with you and didn’t get discounts

Awful never respond when i need them..i have to chase them for renewal quote and they leave it to the last minute when the price goes up, alot higher than when i go online as new quote.

All I wanted to do was cancel my renewal and wasted over 30 minutes of my precious time doing so. Despite making it very clear, the operator decided that I needed a re-quote and wasted a lot more time than necessary (under instructions I've no doubt). There should be an opt in/out option at the start of the policy to prevent p*ssing customers off. Making it such a difficult and time consuming process has lost them any chance of my and friends/family repeat business. I have opted to take my insurance with a company that made this process simple and they will be getting my repeat business, not only for this insurance but for all my insurance needs. So their money making scheme of automatic renewals has done the very opposite of its goals here. CONGRATULATIONS!!

Needed to cancel policy can only do online through live chat which took ages to do then I find out I won't get my £40.99 back as they charge for setting up policy. Never again will I use this service
