A disgusting admin cost just to change your address. Live chat operators are very slow to respond.

Was cheapest 2 years running, then the price went up over £100, called for a better quote and was still £50 more expensive than most. Live chat with a rep' (Chloe D) and was given the wrong information when asked. The company seams to be going downhill.

Bought car insurance on 19/10/21 with Emily.Received e-mail enclosing documents . Tried to register but got nowhere because I was told that my e- mail address was invalid . Nonsense it was the e-mail address you used to communicate with me . I tried another tack and was told the registration already existed , but where was I to go from there.my experience with trying to read the documents has been absolutely terrible. I suggest you send me a hard copy in the post

I took out a policy yesterday. Today I have had 3 phone text messages and 3 emails telling me to activate my portal or give feedback . The chat staff member said she could do nothing as rhe calls were automatically generated but they should stop ! Not a great start. The price of the homes policy was very competitive and easy to set up.

although the 'chat' person was polite. I would like to speak to a person please. I may have to cancel my existing policy with you as it really was a stressful experience trying to change my policy to my new car. Which by the way I still haven't ben able to do.

Not being computer savvy found it difficult to achieve what I needed, copy of my Insurance documents. Why can they not be sent to me by e mail???

I tried to get a quote for my son for a fully comprehensive policy, but, I was told I would have to wait up to 3 working days for this. I find this a little inefficient, as it couldn't be dealt with via the on line chat, & there is no telephone contact available. My custom for this policy now goes to another company.

My renewal price came through and it was higher than expected. I contacted Ond Call Insursncd to cancel automatic renewal and received confirmation that this had been done. Paid for cheaper insurance elsewhere only for One Call to renew insurance anyway and take money out of my account. They very quickly said they had made an error and would refund but when it came to covering cost of charges incurred because of their error they were not interested.

The price is good but we have had a dreadful experience trying to change our policy. To be honest we would’ve gone to another provider if the price hadn’t been so good. We bought a new camper van and couldn’t change our policy through the portal. The ‘on line’ chat cannot be easily accessed and the advisors are unable to call you if needed. We were advised we needed to talk to the sales team and that they would call. This took two days and I had to chase. When they did call, I was on the underground and they left a voicemail for me to call back. When I did I was informed the phone lines were temporarily unavailable. This also happened the next day. To say I was frustrated is a massive understatement!!!! I had to go through the chat line palaver again to ask for a further call. When I did eventually talk to EN2 she was very helpful and efficient. Otherwise the customer support system is an absolute shambles!!!!

One Call let themselves down. My poor experience changing the car on my policy. The change couldn't have been simpler same car and model, but online put me through to chat , who after marketing products quoted me a price far higher than your quote for a new policy. Even weighing the high cancellation fee I went elsewhere as I felt this was sharp practice.

Wasn't impressed that an agent initially told me I had no policy,I then spent 2 days online with the MIB trying to track it down. One call then sent me a renewal for the policy they said didn't exist,when I knew it did.

Tried to move car insurance from old vehicle to new one through online portal but said I had to go to live chat to complete. Response was very slow on chat and took an hour to complete transfer (unacceptable) also insurance is working out an extra 20 pounds a month on new vehicle taking it to £54. I got quotes from other providers for £38 for same cover but due to charges to transfer and fees didn't make it financially viable to transfer despite renewal date just being a couple of weeks ago. I definitely won't be renewing with one call insurance on next renewal date due to these issues.

Sarah SJ7 was very helpful getting my insurance sorted, if I hadn’t contacted her I wouldn’t have had any, as it had not been set up, no communication to let me know if there was a problem, insurance companies are quick enough to take your money though.

I went with this company because the reviews were good and the quote was also very good. However, after a new quote for upgrading our car the quote was double any others on offer and the "sting in the tail" was when we needed to cancel - I might as well have paid them for the 9 months remaining since the charges were beyond ridiculous!!!! Its impossible to speak to anyone in person, their web chat takes so long and on one occasion had to ask if they were still there only to be disconnected. I am just relieved we never had a situation where we had to make a claim! Shop elsewhere if you want to save money in the long run or, just change your car before renewal is due!!!! I DEFINITELY wont be using again.
