Unfortunately the cake was very dense and hard - I don’t think Victoria sponges travel well! They just become hard.

the products were amazing but delivery was terrible. I made a point to pay for extra shipping so the package would be delivered on my friend's birthday and the deliveryman made little effort to deliver it.

Very tasty, especially the strawberry one, but big minus for the sizes of the cupcakes. I was honestly shocked when they arrived and to be honest, my guests were making jokes how big they are,all birthday party. Never again!

Definitely didn't taste as good as it looked unfortunately. It was far too sweet. The mouse tasted like sweet butter. Also, I didn't want to spend even more on getting an early slot so it arrived at 5pm.I won't be returning to Cutter and Squidge.

The cake was a little bit dried on the outside, it was a cake probably made 2 days before, not freshly baked. I felt a little bit disappointed.

The cake should be served at room temperature at which point the sponge should become light and fluffy and not be dry. We are not sure if you had stored it in the fridge, but this might explain the dry cake layers. The cake, my daughter said, was delicious, after it arrived a week later than I had originally wanted. It was so important to me to have it delivered on June 11th. I even paid extra to have it delivered that morning. 1 .It was my daughter’s birthday . 2 . Her son was having an operation that afternoon and she was understandingly very worried. I had had a recommendation for your cakes so decided that it would be a nice cheer up gift. I did not think that your response to my complaint when the cake was not delivered because it was lost by DFD was adequate or sympathetic , in the circumstances. My lovely surprise was spoilt. I arranged to have it delivered a week later, and although my daughter said it was delicious,I was still disappointed.

The cake was really fresh but too sweet. Also, we expected it to be a little bigger based on the price. It wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t be buying again, too expensive for what you actually get

I originally ordered an afternoon tea hamper for a friends virtual baby shower, despite using the specified day delivery service it arrived two days late. Customer service were very good and having refunded the delivery fee they also sent me a goodwill gift voucher. I ordered an afternoon tea for Father’s Day. The delivery this time was smooth, the contents however were disappointing. The scones, jam and cream were well received. The cakes sadly were inedible. “Bricks” was the adjective used. This is such a shame as the idea of being able to send and receive afternoon tea in the post is great. The produce however needs to be edible on receipt.

Good service but the cake was far too expensive for a tiny 6 inch that wasn't any different tasting than a supermarket cake, if anything the lemon was way too sharp and rich. Tin doesn't seal properly its loose so you can't keep it fresh afterwards. Expensive delivery. Just not good value for money, sorry.

Although the cakes tasted great, I am very disappointed by the service. I was able to place delivery for a day that I was later told was unavailable. When I responded to confirm the earliest date available, I was again given a day later. The birthday was on Sunday and the cakes arrived on Thursday.

The parcel was not delivered - address was confirmed via website and a follow up email. It may be due the parcel being sent to a Uni. Recipient was looking out for it .

in my honest opinion, the cake was dry. it came on a friday night, kept in fridge and had it saturday noon time so the dryness has nothing to do with that

Firstly, I would like to say that the cake was delicious, this review is no reflection on the quality of the cake. We recently purchased our wedding cake, a lovely 3 tier naked cake. It was perfect. My issue is relating purely to shipping and what I would consider to be misleading/hidden charges. Upon ordering the cake, you are given an estimate for the shipping costs, in my case, it was £9.90 (£6 in my attached example). About a week before the wedding, I received an email saying that an additional £55 was required to ship the cake - as it's 3-tier, a special delivery service is required. I questioned this additional cost and was directed to a tiny caveat buried at the bottom of the 'Delivery Options' drop down. Having already been given an estimate of £9.90 to ship the cake at the time of ordering, why would I think to then dig through the delivery T&Cs to look for these additional charges. On top of that, the small clause doesn't give any indication of how large this charge would be. As it turned out, the charge of £55 accounted for over 20% of the entire order cost. This is a simple fix, and should be updated immediately. When someone orders a cake with 3 or more tiers, the shipping costs should reflect the true cost at the time of ordering, and not a week before the delivery date. I had no choice but to pay as it was a week before my wedding and already had 101 other things to arrange and get stressed about!!! Sadly, this has really put right me off Cutter & Squidge and all those who I have mentioned this to agreed that it's not right.

Actually, it was disappointing. The flavour & texture both fell flat. We’ve had vegan cakes from other sources but was excited for this one as it was a special occasion- sadly it was not up there with the others. The delivery worked well though.
