When we place our order the delivery time is given. This time it said 25 minutes then after my order was picked up it changed to 45-55 minutes. I would not have placed the order had it stated it would be this long. Their delivery times are never accurate - and there is nothing you can do, no recourse, no accountability. I’m tired of it and will not use them except on rare occasions. Only company I know that takes no responsibility for their service. They cancel orders whenever they feel like it and pretty much deliver it when they feel like it.

Unreliable! Poor communication! App asks for a tip and recommends a specific tip before the dasher EARNS it! I don't even think Doordash deserves 2 stars! I'm disappointed that this is starting to be a repeated issue being the 3rd time this has happened! 3rd time is a charm and you have lost me as a customer! I've spent a lot of money feeding my family through this over priced program. I rely on quality and a guarantee and doordash doesn't have it. I'm a disappointed dissatisfied customer that has to rely on pizza to feed my family once again.

Sorry to say but this company track record of fixing issues that they cause is deplorable. An over $300 order for 13 placed and they did not tell the vendor it was for a later pick up. Order was ready 2 hours ahead of pick up and it was the vendor reaching out wondering why it wasn't picked up. Instead of DD taking ownership once informed and having the vendor remake the order, they went ahead and picked up the cold food and delivered it to us for our meeting. Nothing like cold Mediterranean beef and lamb. Your customer service reps via chat need better training on problem resolution. This was deplorable but avoidable IF your (where ever they are located) CS Reps understood the need and culture of who they are serving.

I am a dasher for DoorDash and honestly they rip you off it so sick they pay under $5 for a order and it very disrespectful that’s customer like literally have to tip to get there orders taken by drivers or it will take a long time to find a driver like overall DoorDash was a good idea but they rip you off no order shoild ever be 4.25 that’s 4 one dollars bills and a quarter like come on and the rip you off lately with the hourly wage you don’t get the set amount at the end of your hours like they not good as they used to be

I writing this as a Dasher. Let me start by saying I was very skeptical when my daughter first ask could we start dashing so she could make money for a Birthday sleepover with her friends where she wanted to buy a gift and would also have money to go out to eat and movies for the 3 day weekend, after checking the reviews and signing up and was finally approved, we started dashing., This particular day she made $23 and some change she was happy because I work a full time job and usually 10 12 hour days we agreed to dash on Friday evening and Saturday and Sunday daytime, the first few weeks because we were consistent we made between $128-$217 for 7hours. The problem came when I was sent a challenge to make 15 deliveries between 11/23-11/28 and I would recy a $300 bonus pay. Of course we accepted and during that time we actually completed 31 deliveries, which were completed on 11/26. On 11/27 I called to find out when I would be paid out and after being out in hold for over 45 minutes I was told it would be paid out after 5 days of completion. This was the first disappointment. I waited and on the 6 the day I called again to be put in hold and hung up on, after holding for 30 minutes I had to hang up because I was at work.i called again and again for several more days being giving the run around about when I would receive payment, consistently being transferred and ask the same scripted questions and ask to send a screenshot of the challenge that was set to me after doing this 3 times I became very upset because now it's obvious that they wasn't going to pay me. after finally telling them I'm not sending anymore screenshots until I can speak to someone higher up they stop taking my calls and sent me an email address is me by someone else's name and telling me the challenge was sent to me in error and that I was not eligible for the payout, all while still receiving another challenge for the current week. As of today I have still not received payment for my completed challenge. I communicated thru live chat, email and telephone. Dashers beware!!

DoorDash autofills and $8.99 tip, after you have already paid a $1.99 fee for delivery and a random $6.00 service fee. 1/3 of my food cost is a fee for DoorDash and there is no transparency. I won’t be using this service again.

I historically used Door Dash and only had a couple of minor issues, nothing major until I changed my house address, as I always had my food delivered to my neighbors, and a couple of times it went to the wrong house. Well when I changed my address to my house and not the neighbors, her address must have dropped down to the apartment number box. Got a text that my food was delivered, I replied that wasn't my house, and reordered. My food arrived and I was told I would not be charged for the first order from Jersey Mikes, and she delivered it to an apartment building. I checked my Credit Card account, and it was there. I contacted Citi Bank and contested the Charge. I was told they had till January 4th to make a decision on reimbursement. I got notified yesterday that in accordance with their policy, that I agreed to, they will not refund my money. So I ran my address to see if in fact an apartment with my address does exist; it does not. So I cancelled my Door Dash account and I will no longer be going to Jersey Mikes, $110 for 2 subs is out of my price range and whoever got my order, I hope you enjoyed it.

I’m a disabled resident and ask the door dash driver to knock and come in. I’ve had a few now that don’t even knock, they just leave the food on the front porch!! Apparently, they cannot follow simple instructions and take little pride in their job. Dissatisfied

Terrible service. Dashers picking up other orders, not caring about your’s getting cold. I try to avoid them as much as possible. And Uber eat is even worst!!?

I order from DoorDash almost everyday and sometimes twice a day. I used to love DoorDash but as of this moment I will NOT be ordering from them. Grub Hub and Uber Eats are definitely more expensive but when someone from their list of restaurants does something wrong they have your order redeliver and they then give you a credit, it usually isn’t for very much but at least it is something. After this post I will not talk about DoorDash or order from them.

It's hard to complain about something that is delivered straight to your door with only a few taps of the screen, but there are a few things that need to be improved. One of the good things is they literally bring your food straight to your door. Sometimes it takes them a super long time. For example I once waited an hour for food that I ordered from McDonalds that door dash was supposed to pick up. There is also a huge miscommunication between DoorDash and the restaurants. Like if you order sauce on DoorDash the restaurant doesn't put them in the bag. DoorDash just takes the bag and then you end up with a ton of fries with no fry sauce. Overall like I said earlier can you really be upset getting food without moving from your couch. DoorDash is alright in my book. I do recommend using it but keep in mind the things that I have said.

Door dash customer service is great.. but their drivers absolutely suck in Kissimmee Fl. Most of the drivers are Venezuelan immigrants who can’t read or speak English so when you leave notes about delivering to your address they can’t read them because the idiots can’t read English. How do you get into this country and not speak English. 2x now I have had orders not get to me but marked as delivered. The drivers go to your address nearby and sit in a parking lot for 20min, mark ur order as delivered then take off, I’m assuming they eat the orders. I was able to get refunds on both orders but it took 7 working days for that to happen. Jorge Q. in Kissimmee Fl with the nyc phone number and the door dash driver who ate my food, u absolutely suck.

This is for anyone who is a dasher . I was involved in a car accident while dashing and I have full coverage insurance so I wasn’t worried. Turns out my insurance Denies claim because I was dashing and tells me door dash should be paying for repairs . So I call door dash and they only pay if someone gets hurt they will not cover any damages. This is mind blowing to me that I lost an entire car and door dash gives no fuks . I lost my car and income in a matter of seconds

They hey have taken my money twice with no delivery when I try to complain they say sorry that's your tough luck I've even spoke with a senior manager ge said there's nothing I can do we've taken you money good luck this is not how we do business in America!

I just tried door dash and to order and used to order all 3 meals through this app and got the notification that delivery was unavailable. It reminded me why I pick up my food myself now.

Tried them several times - have yet to get a complete order when using doordash. If i pickup i get all or most of my order. Im lucky if i get half my order with doordash.

Wast totally unsatisfied with options to have coffee delivered there are other options around to have this done but the way it’s said in the ads is anything anytime and this is untrue

Door Dash. Driver delivered to the wrong house. I wanted the driver to find my order or at least get refunded and get my order re-entered and delivered because my children were waiting for food. Kids are not so understanding. Good thing I have honest neighbors. I posted in my HOA group and the house owner responded and we got the food. But considerable time passed. Since it was subway sandwiches and it is quite cold out we ate them anyway. But because of how unhelpful customer service was, and they literally could not refund me or reorder, I will not order again. Because next time my order could be really lost. I even have cameras and the door the driver took a photo of was not mine. Still I felt like customer service treated me like they did not believe me or that I was too stupid to find my order, and it was really frustrating. Better customer service is needed. This is my complaint. Also... Your drivers never get the condiments people order with their orders either. You would be surprised how this really turns people off to your service. That and wrong deliveries. It's expensive to order food from this service and they make great profit, plus I am a big tipper. So you would think they would have great customer service. I will have to pass using this service now. Missed condiments and slightly late orders I can deal with easily enough- having no delivery of the children's food and no resolution when the mistake was confirmed from their end- Not okay.

In most cases I would offer a 5🌟 but for this specific situation I'm giving a ONE. Friday night I ordered almost $90 with of food with Garcias - my children and I ended up w/food poisoning. When I used the app today (Sunday- less than 48hrs after ordering Garcias) I was finally feeling well enough to report to DoorDash w/requesting a refund. The window of receiving a refund had passe- according to the multiple attempts on the app. Passed?! Really!?! I THEN called and reported this via phone, explaining how the last thing on anyones mind when you have food coming out both ends for 24hrs, while trying to care for children who also have food coming out both ends is reporting the food poisoning within a few hours of getting the food! The 1st person - a female w/DoorDash told me it was too late & to try contacting Garcias... Too late?! Really!? Garcias said they can't help me w/a refund as they have been told, per Doordash's policy to have the customer contact DoorDash?! But I did!? Do I fall under this timeframe unique window where Garcias & DoorDash WON'T help me!? Just in the last year alone I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars w/DoorDash services because I have been on bedrest w/seeing on average 3 Dr's/wk for neck, lower back, spinal & brain injuries- where I have been unable to shop or cook for my family. THOUSANDS of dollars when I haven't been able to work or bring any income in since September of 2021... the fact I can't get almost $90 refunded is ridiculous! The 2nd /last time I called, DoorDash's customer service, this lady at least offered to escalate this to a team (that was not working on the weekend) and should be following up w/me Monday/ tomorrow. I hope that the $86+change can be refunded AND w/such the headaches [i.e. this run around], I personally think there should be more offered than just the refund amount! Because no refund has been offered to me [yet] I even placed a negative review w/the Layton Garcias via Google.
