Out of the three times I've used the service, only on order was completed correctly. One was missing sides that I was charged for, and the other order there were items missing from two otherwise-correctly-labeled order that implies the driver, who was not the person listed to be delivering my food, stole some of my order, as there were pieces missing from two items and the entree from a combo meal missing. Account is now deleted and I will never use their service again.

I am a driver for doordash and i want to start by saying .. we are not all bad. If food gets cancelled over and over its because, as a driver, you have to make sure the miles are worth the money you will make. And if not tip and low pay i know I do not take those orders. We only get so much from door dash and if not tip we will not make so will cancel order once comes up exactly how far you are. And if food not done yet at restaurant and will be too long will also cancel. Not waiting for food more then 3minutes. Time is money. If food is missing or cold that is store fault as I do not open sealed bags to inspect what is in it. The only thing I will do is ask for a straw if drink involved even if they tell me it is. As far as not finding an address it does happen. I have had to call customers due to lack of a number or even to find an apartment or house due to gps system bringing me to wrong place. NOW i agree with customer service sucking as lately i have been not able to dash due to too many dashers in my area so I am losing money. They never able to help or take forever to answer if an issue. I have also ordered from them and had to fight for my money back.

Door dash had the wrong order twice in 1 night. Issued me $4.31 for the inconveniences. Deleting the app tonight. Horrible service

The compensation for incorrect orders does not compare to what you pay. If a restaurant sent the incorrect items they would refund you or send out the correct order. Door dash keeps most of the money along with the restaurant and no corrections are made. You're forced to keep wrong or incorrect food with very little compensation.

They allow their drivers to do multiple orders at once. You get your food late and it’s cold. They text you automatically and tell you to wear a mask which is out dated and annoying. Restaurants will somehow not be able to contact customers when they need to cancel orders so 45 minutes after you are supposed to have your food you’ll end up with a text from your dasher saying they waited and we’re told the order had to be canceled … I even had a dasher mad because they wasted their gas to go Pick it up like it’s my fault.

Door dash always has issues with the drivers and the stores making mistakes but apparently there’s a limit to how much you can report errors and get credits. I’m sorry but if I’m paying membership and service fees and tips, I want something done when things go wrong! I canceled my membership because of this, gave it another try and 2 annoying things happened so I’m done!

I placed an order this evening for my elderly mother. I was sent a message that the order was received and was being processed by the restaurant. Next, I received a text from someone who identified themselves as Stan and as my DoorDash driver. He stated he was at the restaurant and was waiting for my order, but they were very busy. Later I received another message from DoorDash, stating my order had been cancelled. I text both the driver and DoorDash back and simply asked what had happened. No Response. I then called the main number and spoke with Chris who said the restaurant had cancelled my order and I would be issued a full refund withing 3 days. When I asked why the restaurant would cancel my order, I was told most likely due to them not having what I wanted. So -- I called the restaurant. Oh, you already know what they said. The lady that answered knew exactly what I was talking about. She said they had filled all of their DoorDash orders that evening, except this one. She went on to say that due to a computer issue, they had instructed the driver to go through the drive through, but he refused. She said all of the other DoorDash drivers had complied, but Stan refused. She then said, "I think you just got a bad Dasher." I then call the main number back and spoke with a young lady (Marium?) After listening to what I had to say, she went on to state the same thing as I was told during the first call, "Restaurant Cancellation". I then asked if she had listened to anything I had said, because it was obvious, she had not. I then asked to speak to a supervisor and was put on hold. After several minutes of holding, I was told someone would call me back. Still waiting on that call. LOL!

I've been using DoorDash since 2016 and as of July of 2022 I no longer use this app. I enjoyed their Dashpass since I first started my account, but just recently the policy changed and although I have a DashPass, it is only eligible when I use my Chase Freedom Credit Card. Delivery fees range from $3-7 per order. Ridiculous! Plus I always tip 20% to all dash drivers. That is why I stopped using DoorDash because the DashPass is a lie. Even if you reach the minimum purchase required to qualify for free shipping, it only works with Chase Freedom Card. Very disappointing. I now use UberEats and so far it's been great dealing with them. Also my last purchase was only because I had a credit available because the driver took two hours and I had to cancel. It was hard reaching driver, no response and hard to get in contact with customer service. The driver basically bailed! I was embarrassed because I invited my parents over to my house and the food never arrived. I originally paid for the order with my Chase Freedom Credit Card to qualify for the DashPass and when I was given the amount as a credit towards my next purchase I had to pay for delivery fees because I was using the Dash Credits. I’m finished with DoorDash, too, unfortunately. What once started as a great concept and resource is no longer customer service oriented. Orders are now taking 1+ hours even when store is 2+ miles away. Missing items the last few orders I placed, although now they offer credit OR a refund to your credit card which is nice. I’d rather receive an accurate delivery, however. The biggest issue of all, most recently is that you are asked to pay almost $3- more to have food delivered warm. So, I tried that and the food was delivered warm, but I don’t like the fact the Driver’s ride around with your food in the car when they are out making other deliveries. Food becomes soggy and cold…Especially French fries and bread. Yes, we are in inflationary times right now, but this company and the the restaurants seem to have taken complete advantage of its faithful customers. I’ve read other reviews, as well and agree. I usually pay more than 20% in a tip each time to help those who are out their hustling, but don’t like the fact they can’t stand at the counter WITH the restaurant employee to ensure orders are accurate before picking them up. I do not like giving tips BEFORE the service has been rendered. Tips are indicative of good customer service and part of that service should be accurate food delivery. Between 2 people, the restaurant and the Driver taking an extra minute to go over the order would decrease the number of wrong and missing orders. Unfortunately, I, too, will no longer be using DoorDash. I hope they can improve. They started out great and over time became more concerned about making more money than providing good quality customer service. This is not how great companies thrive. Doordash allowed me to Order from Papa John's and they were closing in like 20mins. I noticed the Dasher was on the DoorDash map pending for awhile so I contacted DoorDash to cancel after seeing they tried to give me pennies of what my order was worth. They cancelled the order and asked if I'd like credits. I ask for credits and they refunded my payment to the card so I couldn't reorder from a open store. Mind you this happens a lot and from my experience I've been told a refund is coming and received nothing. Now I'm waiting 3-5 days... Customer Service is horrible but they will refund a missing item...

how do u raise ur acceptance rate when ur orders r 5 to 10 miles away out of ur zone 0r 2.75 dollars a order when gas is 4 dollars a gallon

They charged for distance tax, service tax, extra tax, and then want me to add a tip for the driver, all that is more than my actual order was, that is crazy, the driver showed up, i said hi, he handed me my food, i said thanks and left, never said a word to me at all.

I’ve ordered off of your app 3 times. This is the third time my order has come an hour later. My food is cold I placed the order at 5:30 I got it at 6:30. It’s ridiculous if I wanted slow food I wouldn’t have ordered I would have picked it up myself.

I hate how door dash allows drivers to deliver more than one order at a time . How is it fair that as a paying customer who pays delivery fees and tip has to warm the food up in the microwave because the driver has taken so long delivering other orders. Also if you have an order issue it’s impossible to talk to some one from door dash and the online system rarely gives a full refund when needed . If I got someone else’s order how is it that you don’t refund me ??

Several times I ordered food to be delivered at a specific time only to be delayed - because they put me behind other orders. Food comes cool/warm with wet bread and/or floppy fried food. What? Done - DONE with DoorDash.

I have come to find out the hard way that Doordash does not stand behind their product. When I get wrong orders, all they do is give a small refund. How about a full refund or the correct food? So I am left with nothing to eat and 1/3 refund of what I paid. AND if you call the restaurant, they tell you it's out of their hands and to call Doordash. How about somebody step up to the plate and make it right! I just canceled my monthly subscription. I'm sick of this.

The driver was very kind...it was just the price was so jacked up! Order a $30.00 pizza and when all said and done it was $50.00 - service fees, etc...ridiculous first and last time I will ever use them. Reading the reviews below, holy cow, how do they stay in business. From now on I won't start enjoying adult beverages until after we order and I pick up food! Good riddance! Customer service was fine, just such a rip off!

Doordash didn’t notify us that it couldn’t find drivers and my order got pushed back until the restaurant closed and the food prices are jacked up as well. The same order when purchased to go was 50 but it was 79 by menu prices on the app aaand after contacting customer service it might be 5 days before i get my $85 back

Service is OK, but the website has a whole section about alcohol abuse, with an option to request alcohol to be removed from an account. This is a lie. The form goes nowhere, and they are perfectly willing to push alcohol on alcoholics trying to recover. Anything to make a buck, I guess. Shame on you, doordash, for lying about wanting to do better.

This was our very first experience using doordash. The food bag fell over in the car, saturating the bag and ripping it. Our driver touched each container, with some of the lids cracked, because the bag fell over, then the driver licked his fingers grabbing the next container. Each container was leaking, messy, touched by the driver. The worst of all of it, was the last handful of utensils, napkins, and small containers that were shoved onto my porch contained a cookie that came with our meal. The cookie had a perfect bite mark taken out! So gross and rude! And we had to pay for this service! Never again!
