As a dasher it infuriates me that you are unable to find out the distance from restaurant to customer before you except the order, example-restaurant is a mile away you except said order BUT only after the order is picked up THEN you find out that you have to drive 5,6,7,10 miles away Such BS!!!!

This isn't true in most cities but the deliver ppl in Chicago are absolute morons. Half of them deliver to the wrong address or a random sidedoor I don't know about. Most recently, I ordered Boston Market--15 mins away at most. The first dasher assigned absconded with my food and disappeared. The 2nd one prioritized a different delivery over mine and let the store close before picking up my order. Then I was only partially refunded and $5 was given to me as credit rather than the full total as a total refund. I can't begin to tell you how incompetent Chicago delivery personnel are.

You made a dasher wait 10 minutes for an w that was sent after mine. Apparently you have some strange rule that a dasher can’t leave with an order if there is another that came in 10 minutes after the first one. You dasher could have delivered mine and gone back and picked up the other. But you made him wait 10 minutes.

Why don't the drivers check to make sure ALL items are in the bag? Half the time my order is missing something. Today 66% of my order was missing. I ordered two dinners, only a partial one showed up. The second one was completely missing. WTF I even tip them good and they still screw it up. I wish the company had a delete tip button.

I think door dash prices are way out there the drivers sounder why we don’t give a big tip well we don’t because to get our food it’s already pricey secpund they mess your order up or steal your order if it’s not that then you get the wrong order you asked for anyway also takes sometimes a long time to wait for your food

I Feel like DoorDash doesn’t care, it has been twice that my order has been canceled and I’ve had to wait an hour for EACH Order, then had to wait even longer for my new order and by that time I’m upset and not hungry anymore. I just wanted to come home to my food being there but no I had to check the app to see that my dasher was at home.

Yesterday we had Doordash pick up a delivery from Lee’s Garden Kitchen in Plainville CT. We didn’t get our chicken wings, called Lee’s to tell them and they blamed it on the Doordash driver for stealing them. Bad customer service!

I am a supplier from a restaurant and I had my first unpleasant experience with a DoorDasher picking up an order. I have been working with DoorDash for almost a year now so overall I do not have any complaints until now. I did report this dasher to DoorDash and a claim has been filed but not banned from my work, a 2nd occurence has to happen for us to do a ban. The unprofessionalism, negativity, and demanding nature for our product to be instant was surprising to receive. The "Order is ready for pick-up" button hasn't been pressed and yet he comes in demanding the order. I try to explain to him the process of how things should work and he got agitated and stormed out stating I was wasting his time. I understand money is made by time and completion but the behavior displayed towards me was unwanted and uncalled for and unnecessary. My boss has been informed and he was there when it all happened and allowed me to deal with the confrontation about the behavior (and I was happy to oblige) as I was the one who received it. Also, I was not reprimanded for how things went and how I handled the situation. I leave this here, for anyone ordering in Clemson, SC and have a dasher with the initials L.G. (I will not state full name) please ask for someone else as your dasher. Everyone deserves a good day and experience but this dasher was not delivering that to anyone he encountered.

Extremely overpriced and expensive. Our door dasher cancelled on our order after they picked up our food and decided to eat it. $10 of chicken nugget meal was $20. Incredibly unorganized and inconsiderate of time.

Though the service has been convenient and once pretty good they make more and more careless mistakes. I will be cancelling my Dash Pass after the last straw tonight. The first time I ordered, I received an order from the correct restaurant with someone else’s name on it and not remotely what I ordered. After reordering, the dasher left a picture that claimed the order was left at my doorstep, but the picture is not of my door and my food is nowhere in sight.

Their app is constantly bugged and has a million issues, they cancelled my student dashpass even though I'm still a student, and they'll give drivers multiple orders and the first one picked up is the last one delivered so it'll definitely be cold. The worst part is they'll pick up your food and drive past your house to grab the next order and then drive farther away to deliver that first.

Door dash needs to work on giving their employees a better pay instead of the dash drivers relying on customers to give them tips . Due to a lot of people not having much, they aren’t able to leave tips as much as they’d like to so door dash drivers are basically delivering our food for little to no pay. Because of them not being paid enough, a lot of drivers have resulted in straight stealing the food they are supposed to be delivering . It’s genuinely become a gamble to order on door dash and I guess this is the dasher’s way of getting their fair share and I get it . Door dash overall needs to do better . I’m done with them. This has not been the first time my food has been stolen and I can guarantee it won’t be the last. Door dash pay these people fairly !

The only reason I’m giving DoorDash two stars instead of one is because we received our order twice before. But not today — we received absolutely NO notice that today’s order was not going to be delivered; after phoning the restaurant and learning that our order was still there, and the supposed delivery person had not contacted them, I drove there to pick it up curbside. (When our restaurant offers delivery, DoorDash is apparently the default delivery system because I DON’T have that app.) I would not recommend DoorDash to anyone under any circumstances!!

For years we were reasonably content with DoorDash but in 2023 orders have started coming late due to their policy of allowing dashers to deliver more than one order at a time. This often makes the food tepid and/or soggy. Also, this house is a little hard to find, so I put careful directions for the dasher. For years, the dasher showed us that the directions weren't even visible in the app. Only this year were they visible. Most dashers don't even read them, get lost, wander around, making the meal even worse. When we ask why they didn't read the directions, they either shrug or say "lots of them are wrong." These are management issues that really need to be addressed.

I ordered for the first time from pet smart. The door dasher went to the wrong house. They send you a picture of where they left the item I have no idea who's house it is. It's not even a neighbor so where the heck did this person go. Of course the person I talked to at customer service could barely understand English. I asked for a redelivery but now the pet smart is out of stock on my item. So now my item is just sitting at a random house. Everything was great except that. I connected with customer service right away. The call wasn't that long and in the end I did get a refund but I couldn't rate it higher than a two because I don't understand how someone can deliver my item to the complety wrong address. It's not like back in the day where we didn't have Google maps. I'm not sure if I'll ever use door dash again and being that all these reviews are si horrible I probably wouldn't chance it again.

I have health issues so I order everything thru them. I tip nicely as well. The stores and dashers repeatedly mess up my orders and steal my groceries. Door dash won’t refund me sometimes so I reverse charges they my bank. Their customer service is a JOKE! No help, lies, says supervisor will call back and they never do. It’s ridiculous with the price gauging

McDonald’s gave me double quarter pounder with bacon I didn’t order that I ordered a single with cheese and ketchup and mustard no pickles and their were pickles I got a small drink when I ordered a medium get it right McDonald’s

It’s just always a problem. Always something missing, cold or otherwise screwed up. I don’t understand with all the bad reviews why a few more measures can’t be taken? Like maybe have the driver check the ticket? Hold the restaurants accountable? You pay a really high price and it’s more times than not, sub par. It just seems insane that they continue to operate this way. When things get tough, they will be the first ones to go down. While they might give you a few bucks back, it’s not worth it. I’d rather have the items I paid for.
