I deliver for doordash in Brooklyn NY. Many times I have issues I will get a delivery and the pick up time will be in like 5 min then the drop off time is like 20 min ago causing the doordash delivery people impossible to deliver ontime. For example tonight I got an order that was at 7:35 pm pick up time I went and picked it up at 7:32 then once I marked that I picked it up told me I had to drop it off by 7:51 only giving me 19’min to drop off and the drop off location was 35 min away without traffic . So normally 40 min away causing the driver to have to either rush like a maniac or get a late mark on there ratings this makes no sense. Then while I was driving to the customer I called support and the first lady she couldn’t help me mind you the support is in another country because they all have very heavy accents and they’re hard to understand. The first lady couldn’t help me then I called again 15 minutes later on the second call second lady couldn’t help me do you know how to change the drop off time. Then I called back a third time after I dropped off the order and I explain to them this is crazy the person on the second call kept asking me the name over and over again and kept telling me to look at my phone to find the name because he couldn’t find the name of the customer while I’m driving I’m supposed to look at my phone over and over again? I almost got into an accident and hit from behind because I kept checking my phone for him. It should be simple. And they need to give their drivers enough time to realistically get at the drop off location. I also work for Amazon Flex and their system is way safer for drivers!

Drivers do not have insulated Boxes or Carriers for deliveries. Who wants to get a semi warm not hot burger and cold fries. I don't think I will be ordering from Uber Eats or Door Dash again.

I never even got the experience of using Door Dash because they would not accept my Chili's gift card. When you place your order, it asks you how you want to pay....well then it asks you if you have a gift card...and then it says to enter the PIN # for the gift card. Well there is NO pin # for a Chili's gift card. So I had to exit their website and call Chili's and ask them what was going on. He said "don't use Doordash website if you are using a gift card from us. Use our Chili's website instead and then enter your gift card # and then select delivery by door dash". SO door dash, you need to insert a place by payment that asks for the restaurant's gift card # (not the pin).

I will give two stars. I’ve had previous orders and had not had any issues. Today I placed an order and it says my order was received but then 30 minutes later my order was canceled. No reason why just that I would get a refund. I called the restaurant myself and place the order for delivery. I will be very cautious using DoorDash in the future. It will be the last option to order food.

The food was ordered and then timed out and said the order was canceled. When I reordered I looked into current ongoing orders and only one was going through, when it came it came with only one dasher and one bag. Everything pointed towards us having one order but when looking in the morning it charged us twice. Two delivery fees and all these separate charges for one charge, honestly very disappointed in how they treat customers, especially repeat ones like me. When I asked for a refund they refused, and I was disgusted at how they offered only the dasher tip to be refunded. Really throwing their own workers under the bus.

Horrible service and they make transactions to your bank account without your permission or consent. Literally have over transactions that were not mine. I deleted my card and they still were able to charge it somehow.

This app was good, some restaurants I want are on this app but aren’t on Uber eats so I’ve been using both. However, I’ve tried ordering from two different restaurants and both times the order has no been confirmed forcing me to cancel after 30mins of waiting. I’m happy to wait if there’s actual progress being made it Jesus.

TERRIBLE customer service. when we didn’t receive our food they gave us a refund for the inconvenience then canceled our order without telling us. when we ordered the same exact again food again we asked about a refund since it was their fault we had to order again instead of them arranging for the rest of the food to be delivered to us. spent 3 hours with customer service and they are extremely unwilling to satisfy the customer. got a refund for the extra fees and tip we had to pay on the reorder, but did not get any money back on the food even though it took us an extra 3 hours to get the food we originally ordered.

Well my review comes in the week that Dd decided to announce they are going public and also launched a shiny new feature around gifting I ordered from my usual indian pizza haunt at Dd and oh surprise.. no delivery and the order gets cancelled. Apparently another Ddasher picked up the order and Dd does not know who that is and they can’t help me reorder again because it’s too late. So i get my money back and a $20 credit into my Dd account. cool! ummmm well not...i have a starving 3year old who was promised pizza and is now ..well..mad. so Dd thank you very much for the gift and I hope your stock touches the billions of dollar you expect it to!!!! Enjoy Dd at the expense of a dissatisfied customer. Cheers!

The fact that dashers are not employees means there is no incentive to do a good job. Orders picked up don't arrive on-time, when they say they are lost for 1/2 an hour your forced to eat cold food or start over. Can't get anyone on the phone. No customer service. I've been on hold two different times this morning my order on-line shows the order was delivered but I never received it. On hold with Door Dash first time for 15 minutes hung up and called back thinking perhaps there was something wrong with my connection and as I sit here writing this I've been on hold for 10 minutes and still nothing. Tried their chat on-line and was never connected to a person. TERRIBLE! AND try to go onto YELP to write a review and Door Dash isn't even on their how is that possible?

Doordashers had a hard time finding my address, this only happened with Doordash. This was an inconvenience ,understanding that GPS is widely available. Not sure if they just didn't bother to look at it, unfortunately I canceled my account due to this persistent issue .

When it's good it's average but when it's bad it's terrible. Food choices are not great but if you need something ordinary like teriyaki or chinese there's choices. Deliveries are never super fast but more often than not your food is still warm. Should you have a problem with your order though it goes downhill quickly. Once the driver left the food on my front step without notifying me. I live near the sound where seagulls are plenty so by the time I discovered my food had been delivered the seagulls had a field day with it. Recently I waited close to 2 hours and with my order still marked as waiting for the driver to pick it up I cancelled it. In neither case was there an offer for a refund or a discount on the next order, you just go without. There's too many choices for food delivery to deal with this subpar service.

The service was good and delivery people were nice. But the company kills all that. First, theu charge you $10 for dashpass but you never asked for it. I didn't order often enough to make the monthly charge wprth it. I tried to find their phone number or email at all for mon actually spent hours to find them. No I'm not internet dumb either. There was not even a link with an option to cancel the charge until they did an update last month. I finally was able to cancel and they still charged my account. Let alone they kept charging me every month before I got paid. They bounced my account every time. The support number was finally able to be found today. When I finally get to talk to someone, this last charge was reversed. Not any of the others or all the late fees they caused. For anyone who is living check to check, specially now, I feel a bit of taken advantage of with this mess. We have enough people who are cashing in scamming others these days. It shouldn't be from a service we have to use at times. I am sorry for taking out my anger and frustration on the gentleman that was on the other end of the phone.
