“These drivers doing multiple orders is asinine. My food should have been here an hour earlier. But they dropped off the further delivery first. This has happened multiple times. I don’t want cold food. I’m never using this trash service again.”

“Customer service is in the Philippines. Agents are given a script to read from and many times don’t understand the nature of the complaint. If you ask to speak with someone else you have to repeat what you told the previous agent. Often it has taken an hour to resolve a $4 missing item complaint. Today I didn’t receive my coffee and the app had a note I was complaining too much. Use anyone else for deliveries! Uber, Instacart, whatever! I really don’t have a problem with the delivery drivers. Most of them try and go out of their way to help. It is the customer service department who are not held accountable for their pathetic response.”

“My delivery was deliberately stolen. It was a set up by the dasher and her brother. The dasher picked up my order, a text message w/Dasher’s name when I noticed &knew something wrong will happen. Well the dasher delivered my bag at my front door which No food delivery has done before then her brother comes downstairs within the same time she took the picture of the bag, I checked tracking where it said she delivered but it wasn’t in my back door so 3 minutes later I go open the front door and the bag was Gone. I text the dasher no response… I followed with I will file a complaint w/corporate for not responding then she responded back with “How do I sleep at night” smh. Her brother stole my bag because she alerted him. I heard when he came down the stairs it was to coincidental. There has been an on going tenant dispute since her family moved above me 2 months ago. They have deliberately entered my apartment living 4 years there never locked my balcony door now I do, I have cameras, locked all my windows, doors and my balcony curtains remain closed. These are dangerous people that live above me and they are stealing. I had to have her blocked from delivering to my apartment and I reported them to the complex and door dash. Door dash need to get rid of folks when there is too many complaints.”

“WHAT A RIPOFF DOORDASH IS...GO TO THE SITE FOR A REVIEW AND IT DOESN'T GIVE YOU ANY BYT TWO FOR EEACH COMPANY THEY SERVICE AND 90% OF THEM ARE 4-5STYAT.. THAT BECAUSE THEY ARE THEIR CUSTOMERS AND SOURCE OF BIG INCOME... DOORDASH IS SO UNETHICAL-FRAUDSTERS...STAY AWAY!!!!!!!”

“We were not notified when our order arrived. I was waiting and wondering why it took so long. As it turns out, it was left at the entry way of our building, fortunately it was not stolen. No notification. The delivery person could easily have texted me or rang my doorbell. My housemate arrived and saw it in the entryway. He brought it in. The food was stone cold.”

“Got my order all wrong and missing several item 1 box had 1 piece of chicken in it and the others were missing no chicken sandwich. Other box was incorrect. Called and was told my money would be refunded and got a message saying they wouldn’t refund it. Awful awful service and customer service! Will find another delivery service.”

“If I could give zero stars I would…Twice my order was left at another persons house. First time. The driver told me it was dropped off.. ummm not at my place…the driver went back to the place where food was left and delivered it. NO WAY I WAS EATING IT!!! …called DD.. they at least gave me a credit towards another order. This time I was told my address doesn’t exist.. I even took a pic of my address and sent it to the driver… NOTHING! No food… no response…This sort of thing happened several times before.. After that, i dropped DD and downloaded Uber Eats… they delivered my food with no problems and on time. COME ON DOOR DASH.. DO BETTER!!!”

“They literally stole a $500.00 catering order on 11/17/23 for a meeting I had planned in a facility. Thankfully the restaurant went above & beyond to remake the order and do everything they could to make it right. Will NEVER EVER use this service again!”

“Don’t I repeat DONT deliver with DoorDash ever. Horrible customer service, and ridiculously long waits for your pay and unreasonable policies for simply updating your card for fast pay. It’s insane please just deliver with Uber eats, way less of a hassle and very smooth and good customer service, DoorDash shouldn’t be a business.”

“We wait 30 to forty minutes past estimated delivery, yet the still say arriving on time. We have gotten cold or stale food, cold coffee not iced just cold they add 10 minute increments to the delivery time 3 to 5 times and on time to me means the first time I was told. You wait forever for inedible food that you pay double for and they never make it right. I'm out over $100 for food that has gone in the trash!”

“Ordered from one place, got an email that price was increased so I cancelled. I was happy I saw the email in time to cancel as no other notification was given. I ordered from another place and well after it was supposed to be delivered I received a call saying it was cancelled. DoorDash is the worst! There are other places to order from. Do NOT order from here!!!”

“I am deleting your app and will it use you again. Still waiting for my food it was picked up a while ago but dasher taking their sweet time and will deliver food cold. Over an hour to get a burger. Bad business do not use this device they do not care and charge a premium.”

“I ordered from DoorDash yesterday around 1230 at 1:29. I received a call from DoorDash which I believe is the driver cause they did not give their name to ask me if I still want my order I paid extra money to get it delivered 20 minutes early, I said this to the person who called that had an attitude and ask me so don’t you want your food I replied I do want the food if it’s fresh but now it’s an hour she said to me you cannot cancel it because the driver already has the food I said OK then Delivery then she says OK I’m gonna check on the driver to see his status and call you back. I never got a return call, but in the status on DoorDash it said the food was delivered. I went outside there was no food . I immediately got in touch with DoorDash. They put this timer up that said they’re going to investigate in one hour after one hour they said non-refunded so I did not get my food and I did not get my money back. DoorDash is a scam. The drivers are criminals and I will never ever use their company again I recommend the same for everybody.”

“Ordered food with the name if the business on the address. Door dash driver left it a block away on a curb. Than sent a picture saying where it could be picked up. What kind of drivers do they hire. This has happened on a few occasions. They need to dismiss these drivers right away.”

“Not only is my order always wrong but they had the nerve to charge 98$for door pass.i never authorized that charge or signed up for this. Why would I get charged for that unreal about. Use Uber eats people. That money was for my Uber to get to work. Now I'll miss 3 to 5 days of work .until the bank clears funny I dealt with other companies I got back the money back immediately. Too incompetent to do the same”

“DoorDash won’t give me a full refund they sent me the wrong item they charged me twice for the same item and they only give me a $6.60 credit when I put we get $19.21 back a horrible”

“I'm handicapped and am homebound, so Door Dash has been a terrific service in order to get a hot meal delivered to my front door. I've used the service for over a year now, and only once was my order messed up enough for me to generate a complaint- my sodas were AWOL- and Customer Service refunded my drink money without any problem (it could have been the restaurant's fault). Sure, they add a few bucks to the bill, but service costs something. Highly recommend them.”
