They constantly mess up picking our orders. These include losing our order, not checking the order, things missing from the order, ect. They provide horrible customer service when we call for assistance and the drivers are shady and unreliable.

I have never written a bad review before. While placing our order tonight it was suggested we also add alcohol pick up from a second location to our order. In which we did. The driver arrives ask for ID which we provide and when we told him we are missing part of the order he just said sorry I don’t understand and refused to have any further conversation about this. We called customer service to have another driver pick up the order (we didn’t even want a refund just our order) in which the customer service was incredibly unhelpful and said because it was less than $25 we couldn’t receive a refund and they wouldn’t issue another driver. In which we then asked if they could confirm the order even went through to the company and could we just go pick up the order ourselves in which they said no they couldn’t tell us that. So then we called the company to confirm if they had gotten the order in which they said they had but were confused because the door dasher marked it as complete and so did door dash. Basically just stealing our money for lack of better words. While on the phone with door dash I asked so what keeps your drivers accountable to actually complete the orders? Or does door dash just profit off of stealing peoples money because you make them check off a box saying if it’s less than $25 you won’t issue a restocking fee? I find this to be incredibly scammy customer service and business. You won’t refund, you won’t send another driver, and you can’t even tell your customer if the order was even sent to the company they ordered from so that they can pick it up themselves. Meaning you actively provide no resolution for the customer simply so you can keep their money.

tried to sneakily get me to resume dashpass and wouldn't let me order any food without it; had to end up canceling the dashpass fully (it was paused) before being able to order.. sneaky bug; each time i try to order now, it auto checks the "resume dashpass" which is annoying.. horrible

DoorDash is trash!!! Their customer support when garbage! I wouldn’t recommend using them under any circumstances! Absolute nightmare to deal with!!!

There was NO DASHER assigned to my order even after 40 minutes!! The timeframe of my order went up to another 30 minutes. STILL NO DASHER. I chatted with LIVE SUPPORT and asked if I canceled would I get my full $18 back, they told me yes and THE LIVE SUPPORT CANCELED my order then told ME that they could only refund me $4.67 and then CLOSED THE CHAT!! I was not able to reconnect to the chat because they basically blocked it and said nothing else can be done!!! So basically I was played out of $13 and NO FOOD

The fact is, the longer I use them, the worse they can't treat me. Customer has went way down and I'm going to try to stop using the service

Done with DoorDash! Someone picked up the order but never did it say it was picked up. The actual dasher got there to get the food and couldn’t because it had already been picked up. Customer service was a joke. They said they would look into the dasher that picked it up, but yet the restaurant doesn’t even get the names of the dasher! And refund takes 3-5 days.

Two times in a row ordered from door dash and never had my food delivered! Never even issued me the full refund for their mistake! A trash company who are nothing but thieves. Do not ever use DoorDash

Absolutely horrible experience. Driver went to the wrong restaurant, and then made additional stops before bringing my food almost 90 minutes after ordering. The restaurant is only about ten minutes. I called him twice and he blamed the app. Won’t use them again.

DoorDash is absolutely terrible. They lie about the orders they steal from you. I'm telling you one way or another you will not make any money with them they will figure out a way to screw you.

I literally will not spend another dollar with this company. They mark up already high prices just to add to their billing total, combined with their user fee, and taxes make this company infuriating. Then by the time you receive your order it is cold, missing items, or just plain wrong. Customer service is very lacking and may only credit a small amount. I encourage anyone to look elsewhere.

We have ordered from Doordash twice. Both times the driver picked up the food and canceled the order. The driver stole our food. It takes 5 days to get your $ back from Doordash. We now use UberEats. I will never use Doordash or never will I recommend them to anyone.

Absolute horrible customer service. Contacted restaurant and DoorDash immediately upon order being wrong and they hung up on us and charged us $90 regardless of the fact the restaurant wouldn’t even make the food anymore. No person to speak to. No nothing. Had to beg the restaurant to make the food so we could pick up. No customer service. What happened here? Will NEVER use again. Not for nothing-I know the owner of the restaurant-door dash lookout!

Inconsistent delivery and estimates of delivery times. Prices are often inflated for delivery. The worst though, were the instances that my orders were completely wrong, messed up, or 3-4x longer than the estimated delivery time (resulting in cold or damaged food)... their customer service IS THE WORST. Roughly 25% of the deliveries were disasters, and every time, you get no resolution from their customer service reps. I found myself in a couple of situations where the customer service rep was either arguing with me or trying to gaslight me (not kidding). In the most recent instance, the customer service rep was insisting that my order was still within the estimated delivery time, even though I had (time stamped) proof that it was already 4x times longer (overdue) than the original estimate, and the driver couldn't be reached. The customer service rep told me I could cancel the order, but there would be NO REFUND. How does that work, exactly when you don't get your food, you can cancel, but you're not getting your money or your tip back??? So the food finally arrived cold, looked like it had been smashed or crushed, and the driver never did respond, despite a 20% tip. DoorDash's customer service resolution for this was to 1) argue with me about whether or not there was an actual issue 2) tell me that I could use the app to rate my order or raise an issue (it didn't allow me to do that) and 3) offer $5 off a future order. $5 off a future order is no good to me if I never place another order. Especially with a customer service rep who is trained to not listen and argue with customers The service is horrible I canceled my DashPass and deleted my account Instacart doesn't do restaurants but between the grocery, retail, and convenience options + better delivery + outstanding customer service... I can live without DoorDash ripping me off on 30% of my orders.

Doordash have changed and it appears they are taking people’s money. Delivery of goods doesn’t arrive, as a customer, you call for your monies and Doordash will tell you no. Clearly the picture is not of my house.

The driver only brought one bag. Didn’t own up to forgetting the second bag. It took 1 hour to get the second bag. Then l, there was no spoons , forks, straws , or napkins.

Incompetent customer service, reading scripts from a call center in another country. Promises that a supervisor will call to discuss your issue, only to read a (scripted) email that your returnable item will not be credited, despite extenuating circumstances. Late delivery/cold food. Some of the drivers are friendly and competent but DoorDash is the WORST. I'd rather pay for a cab to pick up my own items than pay for this service. The wait times are also dishonest and unreliable. One of the most unprofessional services I've ever encountered.
