I placed an order through O'Reilly's today and door dash was due to deliver by 7pm today. I connected with a chat person that disabled the chat and left me hanging for 12 minutes. I have attached the last chat comment from door dash. I was willing to pay the 7.50 fee and included a $5 tip. AND RECEIVED NOTHING!

Order Panera bread as I’m sick and can not drive, waited 3 hours for food.. had to call the Panera bread to see what was wrong with my order and the manager “Jen” was very very very understanding as this isn’t my first issue with door dash and them, come to find out my order wasn’t being picked up because I didn’t tip threw the app… I always give my drivers cash tips as I’m not sure if they are actually getting the money. So for my order to sit there for HOURS to come to me cold is sad and I’m very disappointed in door dash. Get your act together.

Terrible service this is the second time I have done delivery your people have picked it up. Both times I have been stolen from. I know from hearing people talk about your company that your drivers are making good money. All you do is take from people.

Absolutely horrible customer service on the phone. Can not get order right. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! No compensation for there mistake. Order from somewhere else.

As of this review, I have officially used DoorDash for the last time. What was once a convenience is now a disaster. Service has progressively declined over the past year. The food usually arrives cold because either no drivers can be located by the dispatcher, or because drivers use poor judgment and make additional out-of-the-way deliveries prior to arriving. And when you attempt to get a refund for poor service, DoorDash tries to be slick and goes silent as far as communication. This is the LAST time. I'm done!

Absolutely terrible customer service. Any business that doesn't permit access to an actual human representative has Absolutely no interest in their customers approval. No Thanks!!

Order Never Received!!! Don’t use this service!!After our order was marked as delivered by the driver we checked outside of our hotel too, called the front desk and even called restaurant, whom confirmed order was picked up.. Still no food. Called Door Dash customer service. They said they would escalate this situation and call or text me in 3 hrs of the decision??? In the mean time… we downloaded Uber Eats.. My Mom had her cancer treatment and we could not wait 3 hrs!! Uber Eats delivered our food promptly and hot!! Called Door Dash a second time checking on the status and letting them know we didn’t need a redeliver but refund now because we had good delivered from another app. Still no resolution till about an hr later stating they cannot refund me due to their terms!!! Really!! What a joke!! Glad they made their money and the driver got her tip!! Maybe the driver really needed the meal.. not sure!! But I would not do Door Dash!! Uber Eats had a very professional site and they make sure you get your food. Got 3 emails after food was delivered just to make sure it was satisfactory!! Don’t use the Dash!! This was the 5th time I used them but after this will never again!! They don’t take responsibility!!

Would rate it -stars if I could!!! Do not use door dash Ordered food from them called four times to make sure it be ready for pick up at the place every time yup,yup,yup. Called the place I ordered from and they never got any notice from door dash about my order. Last time I got them to call the place and they did and cancelled the order so by the time I got their nothing was made or ready and had to wait almost an hour for the food I ordered 6 hours before. Called to complain and got the same old salesmen b.s over and over again said they would give me a inconvenience credit that never showed up on my acct. The rude lady on the phone just kept saying well I refunded it so just refresh your ap. Which I did multiple times still no credit. Was told after asking a manager would get back to me waited waited and waited still hasn't after almost a week. Call today and they have a 72-hour policy worst company I have dealt with would highly not recommend it to anyone and will most likely be not using again ever and I'm still waiting for another call back that's supposed to be within 3 hours to 24 so we will see

So the dasher decided not to deliver me my food after an hour picked it up and went home apparently door dash recognized this and tells me they can either place another order or refund. We were hungry so we say replace the order and wait yet another hour for the food. It finally comes ok annoying right but then door dash sends me a notification that I will now have to sign for my orders to get them delivered. So to sum it up had to wait almost 3 hours for food no offer of compensation and then you penalize me. Oh really so you know it wasn't us that the dasher never even came close to my house but now I have to sign ok guess what I will never use door dash again nor will I ever recommend. Have fun with that. You lost a customer for life.

Doordash is T-R-A-S-H. I found out through my PayPal statement that they've been charging me for the last two months for their stupid loyalty program called Dashpass. Never in a million, billion years would I EVER sign up for such a program given the subpar service I've experienced on their platform. Needless to say, I got on the phone with customer service to get the charges refunded. To add insult to injury, they can't even employ Americans in their call center. I spoke to a man with a heavy Indian accent named "Nick." He took my information and proceeded with the refund process. He then informed me the most recent charge had been reversed. I asked him about the older charge. He claimed that because I got the benefit on one of my orders he couldn't give me a refund on the first month's $9.99 Dashpass charge. Keep in mind, this was unauthorized. I did NOT sign up for this program. I was LIVID. I said I'm never using Doordash again and I deleted my account once I was off the phone with "Nick." This company should be ashamed of themselves. I feel like I was cheated. Don't use them. They will rob you blind.

Canceled order because it was taking to long they refuse to refund. Put in a bbb complaint. No where when canceling does it say you do not get a refund. Very poor customer service. Neefs to be shut down . Uber is great!!!

These people let computers handle their hiring and it shows in the product they put out. Why would you want to go to work for a company that doesn't even properly screen candidates? That also tells me that they probably do hire some pretty sketchy employees because they are not properly screened. Will never recommend this service again and will continue to pass this negative feedback on. It is pretty comical that the first question in the review is "How did you communicate with the company?" There is never any communication so that is obviously why "not applicable" is an option. Would rate this company as a 0 if that was an option.

Delivered wrong order to a person who gets 30 minutes (if that) lunch. No lunch so now 12 hours without food. Plus where is the complaint center? Very poor use of the English language. Deleting app and using Uber.

The Doordash in Springfield Va has gotten really bad. In the past month I have had 3 orders cancelled hours after I placed them, because they couldn't find a dasher. Today I had one order cancelled because the business didn't actually carry the products on their menu, and the other order I placed was delivered but missing half of the meals. Just really terrible service all around, on numerous occassions.

Have used doordash on and off for years(more off then on) And have been watching how dash operates. I can give an example based on events from last night. I have a Thai place I goto alot so are familiar with the prices. To eat in it would cost me approx $55. Now... if I enter EXACTLY what I ordered for eat in to the dash for pickup it is $57 not including tax which is close so no biggie. Here is the sick part of this. I don't Change anything at all but switch it to delivery and the price jumps to $69 not including tax. IIt is ridiculously blatant on Dash screwing ppl. I call the help line and they say it is a convenience fee for delivery overhead cost. So what is the delivery fee's and service fee's for that is added on every order????? It is a blatant gouge to customers wallets and a slap to the face. I refuse to use dash anymore.

The 1st thing their web Site should say is, "Do Not Use This Service Unless You Can Scan in Your Credit Card." They waste a lot of folks time.

I had ordered ice cream from DoorDash, when I received the bag it had an overwhelming smell of marijuana. I had to throw everything out even the plastic cups the ice cream came in smelled like marijuana. When I told DoorDash they did absolutely nothing about it, considering I couldn’t eat the ice cream I think they would’ve refunded my money, but they did not. On top of that, the smell of marijuana gives me an instant headache, and I had one all night. I prefer my food not to smell like marijuana when I receive it.
