“Wow. I can't believe all these negative doordash reviews. Yes, sometimes they get it wrong, but they always make up for it. After the first time I had a problem, when they replaced the entire order, I've been sold. I ordered a frozen margarita the other night and they sent an iced one instead. I catalogued it in the app, and they offered me a credit. Totally fair. Love doordash.”

“Driving for Doordash I'm gonna give a 5 star because it hasn't been exactly terrible but there are some places that could update the systems apps so that the directions are correct taco bell in Decatur constantly has a customer telling me there are items missing from the order. Today in Walgreens my Red card didn't go through the first time but it did go through on the second try. I'm a driver and I do go above and beyond I will go out of my way if something is missing to go back get the missing items and make sure the customer gets everything they ordered to try and please them. Today I showed up at Banditz in Decatur and the store was closed for some reason and informed me that he forgot to update his computer so doordash wasn't supposed to have orders coming through but in fact did somehow? I'm not sure who was responsible but I contacted the customer and informed him of the problem I also got on with doordash support and let them know what happened and said the customer needs a refund right away I did everything I could at that point. I'm not sure who had a problem with my service because I'm new to doordash I don't appreciate rude customers and I also don't appreciate whatever customer it was that suddenly gave me a 1 star rating none of it was my fault but I do care and if I could rate the customer you get zero stars today 👍👍👍 but to the customers that make this job worth using gas. Thank you very much!!!”

“I love door dash. So much better than grub hub. Actually let's me know when the order is received when it's being. Made when the driver gets there when he/she picks up and is on their way to me and texts me after they drop it off. I recommend door dash more than grub hub. A little pricey but it's worth it”

“Keep in mind when ordering from a delivery service. If driver's are losing money we will not have delivery service around much longer. The delivery drivers are not paid much. They NEED tips to make money. So remember this is a premium service not just a privilege. If you don't have the money to tip then you probably don't have the money for the service because these drivers do not get paid enough to deliver food for free to you. Yes you pay a fee for ordering but that's the delivery company's money not the drivers. The driver stuck in the Middle needing you to tip in order to make it worth it. I think it should be a fee for the driver to deliver the order. The tip should be a tip by its self not how they are paid.”

“I absolutely LOVE door dash! I already knew it before but after trying other delivery services like Uber eats and postmates did it really help kick in that appreciation for door dash! When I need to cancel an order I never get charged I just get told I can or if it’s after a certain time I can’t (completely understandable) go to Uber eats they charge you half your order price (or 6.35) for cancelling an order even within the first MINUTE if you notice something is wrong on the receipt (which is normally just a mess up on their app) and talk to someone on Uber eats?! Oh no doesn’t happen unless you cancel your order and pay the fee. Door dash has always been great about chat and responding and refunding when the time was right or something was wrong with your order not to mention the drivers are quick and within minutes you have a driver assisted! Uber eats took me over an hour and a half to assign a driver and they wouldn’t even give me credit until it has been almost TWO hours and and if I cancelled before that, charge. Doordash doesn’t do that!!! Never had I had to complain about my order being late! It’s usually always picked up in a timely manner and delivered and I’ve never had the issue of having to worry about cancelling because I waited over an hour. I’ll NEVER make the mistake again ordering thru another carrier Thank you DoorDash! You are truly amazing!”

“I use DoorDash but I am also a driver. Most people do not understand that the drivers do not get paid hourly and are using their own vehicle, time, and gas to deliver. If there is a delivery fee from a restaurant it’s not anything we get paid. We get a base pay of $3 or less for each order. We go and wait in restaurants and drive through lines to retrieve your order. Then we wait in traffic to drive to the customer. Most of the time the bag is sealed for the customers assurance. The tip is what we make for the orders. So if you want to tip cash. Think that what the dasher sees to deliver is whether they take the order or not. So if you live at any distance and do not tip on the app you probably won’t get it and if you do it won’t be on time. That’s the same if you use any app for any restaurant…more than likely it’s DoorDash that will be delivering the order. If you live 10 miles away, remember that the person delivering has to drive to you but also back to that original area to get another order. DoorDash drivers are no different than a waitress at a restaurant except we are using are own vehicles to run to get your orders. Remember we are the ones out there for you. Think what you would be willing to pay to prevent yourself from driving to the restaurant, waiting in line, getting your order and driving home. Be kind…tip your drivers.”

“DoorDash is a great service! You need to remember to tip your driver. Your tip is like a bid for service. Drivers can see what they’ll make for that delivery. If it’s low, it’ll go to the next dasher and they’ll probably decline too. That’ll happen until you get someone (usually a newb) who accepts it. I always tip $1 per mile the driver would have to go and have always got top notch service. Those that are rating DoorDash a 1 star on this site are non tippers. Please don’t be like them.”

“My order was incorrectly filled at the restaurant. I ordered two dishes and only one was shipped. I tried to call the restaurant and they don't answer their phone. I laid a complaint against the restaurant on Doordash. Doordash got back to me in 5 min and said a new order was already on it's way. I have now ordered 6 times on Doordash and their delivery is fantastic. No complaints.”

“I ordered food from doordash 1 week ago and the order I received was hot n fresh as it always is. The food delivery was on time and the food was totally maintained in its original form. Moreover, I was also able to redeem my discount voucher received from couponmonger.com/doordash of $15 off. I'm 100% satisfied with the doordash services and their support for local restaurants.”

“These reviews are very inaccurate and upsetting to see so many upset customers considering some of us do everything right and are hard workers and never have issues like these. Honestly it’s not entirely the dashers fault I’m starting to see a trend and that is that there are a lot of dishonest customers.”

“I have had 10 or 12 Doordash deliveries and every single one of them has been perfect. Despite complicated orders from multiple food providers, every single order has been perfect, No missing or wrong items. I have been extremely pleased with Doordash in every way, every single time here in Germantown Maryland.”
