“Door Dash is the ABSOLUTE BEST. I eat free all the time. I order food and then notify Door Dash I didn’t get it and the delivery guy has to pay for it. I do this 2 to 3 times a week and it’s great.”

“I live in Kailua Kona, Hawaii. This is my first time to use DoorDash, or any food delivery at all. My order was on time. Scheduled on 1:10-1:30pm and I got it on 1:10pm. Order was accurate. It was still warm after 15 mins drive. I have nothing to complain. Just thanks. Thank you E***ee. If there is next time, knock the door, you will get extra tip in person. After I place order in advance yesterday, I found this community and because of low star, I didn’t expect much so result was good surprise.”

“I ordered from Carlos Bakery and it was supposed to be delivered through Door Dash. After years of watching and wanting to go to NJ I was elated to see Carlos Bakery popup on my Door Dash one day. So, I told anyone who would listen that I wanted my Birthday Cake from the Carlos Bakery on Door Dash. Dec 14th came, and my birthday is Jan 1 so I ordered my cake early so it would be delivered by December 29th plenty of time before my birthday. I was supposed to get a tracking number a few days before my order was scheduled for delivery. Dec 29th comes around and still no tracking number or a deliver, so I called Door Dash. They said give them a day to contact the bakery and get back with me. But they would refund me portion for my order. I called the next day because I hadn’t received a call from Door Dash. They told me that still haven’t heard for the bakery and to give them another day and they would refund me the total price of my order 79.00. I made it very clear yes, the refund was nice, but It was my birthday dream for me to have a cake from Carlos Bakery and to please still the cake. Another day went by and it’s the day before my birthday. I called Door Dash and they still haven’t heard from Carlos bakery, but they wanted to make me happy, so they refunded me my money to my card and give me more Door Dash credits. I still insisted didn’t want a refund I wanted my Dream Birthday Cake from Carlos Bakery. My husband told me to leave alone and ordered me a cake from Publix. So, three days past my birthday and I get a tracking number that my shipment from Carlos Bakery will be delivered tomorrow. I was so excited all over again. It was worth the wait. It tasted like the cake was made in Heaven’s Bakery by God’s angels. It was so moist and delicious with melt in your mouth icing and the softest cake I have ever tasted. If you are looking for the best cake you have ever tasted in your life, please contact Carlos Bakery. I can only imagine what their wedding cakes taste like if their everyday birthday cakes taste like the one, I had. I just wanted to say thank you to Door Dash and Carlos Bakery for going above and beyond to please little old me. I will forever be grateful for your generosity to go above and beyond to make me feel special and send me the best cake that money can buy. I just want to say thank you and bless everyone that was involved from the bakers, the icing crew, the packaging crew, the shipping people, and the drivers and all that were involved in getting the cake to me. Thank You.”

“At first I wasn't happy but after speaking with support they did fix my issue fast and professional which I was very surprised after the reviews I've seen me personally I will use them again only reason I use them right now cause I DNT have a vehicle at the moment. The driver was very friendly and with a smile like he loved what he was doing more then I expected. He had a nice clean SUV wish I had more to tip the gentleman cause I do know take gas wear n tear and insurance for them to bring food and all to their customers. Just a reminder for others definitely tip them cause otherwise would have to walk or drive during our busy day. Thanks door dash”

“***IMPORTANT*** With gas at $3.50 a gallon…you must tip at least $1 per mile if you expect someone to pick up the order. You can’t expect someone to drive even a mile without a tip. When I follow this rule I always get my order accepted and delivered. When my friends don’t tip using this system they either don’t get their food or wait for hours on it.”

“First time ordering doordash. Very happy with service. Dawn was my dasher. Came to door as requested. Very nice and friendly Thanked me for my extra tip at the door which I gave her. Only thing I didn't like was the prices were higher than what the restaurant would have charged me. Also first order is advertised for free but still paid a service fee. Which is fine but don't advertise free and than charge extra. Using my gift card was very easy but to be honest I think I prefer to get my own food and not pay extra. For someone that can't get out by themselves this is perfect for them.”

“We ordered pizza from Casey’s in Marion Ia. Thought they delivered it, they hired door dash are food was stolen buy a door dash employee Kelly A. This place is a joke and the people at door dash were rude, and said we can’t fire them because they have 2 times to not deliver. Awful company and can’t get a refund! Never use them.”

“I personally have never had an issue with my order. My mother in law on the other hand does. I tip. She doesn’t. My food is always on time. Hers always comes late. I called support on her behalf and they said Dashers are not “required” to accept a delivery and they probably won’t if there is not a tip added or a low tip due to the amount of miles they have to drive to deliver. So basically no tip/low tip=no/late delivery. And she also pointed out the restaurants make the food and leave it there until it gets picked up so it’s probably going to be cold since no one wants to pick it up. I really don’t care for my mother in law so I’m not sad about her issues and her experience doesn’t reflect mine but now she knows if she is gonna be cheap, she is gonna be sad. Me. I very rarely have to wait for mine. It’s always on time and I never get a rude dasher.”

“Most of the refunds are actually fun to look through to see all the entitled people thinking that everything revolves around them and mistakes can't happen. Other than that I actually think your customer service is great... whenever the restaurant gets my order wrong or my food gets delivered to the wrong address they fix it within 30 minutes if your not being a cry baby about your food not being perfect. First world problems people no need to be so mad about it all the time. There's no way that these mistakes would never happen so treat customer service with respect and maybe they will treat you with it as well.”

“Best app ever !, These idiots that comment about how bad the drivers are is because the customer expects to much from the driver when they only get paid 8$ or 5$… they send you a picture where they left the food, it tells you when the driver is coming closer to you witch means you go outside and wait for them and wave them down to let them know… people are just lazy as hell since covid hit, boohhoooo”

He was professional, courteous, and communicative. I’ve had my share of issues with ALL delivery services in the past few years but remain impressed with DoorDash due to the quality of delivery drivers we have been fortunate to have. Thanks, Joe!”

“I am a doordash driver. Unfortunately we are the individuals blamed for most of the mistakes made by the restaurants and the doordash apps. Sometimes the maps take us to the wrong address, the restaurant messes up the order or the customer gives us the wrong address. They will forget to give us the gate code, or apartment number, or gave us their work address instead of their home address. Traffic, construction, bad weather, many things can contribute to a less then perfect experience. But please know that most drivers want you to be happy, we want to get it right but sometimes outside forces beyond our control can play a large part in the overall experience. I have been with the company for over 6 years, I enjoy it very much but I have seen many different scenarios and the most important thing is patience on the part of the driver and the customer.”

“I love working for door dash but i wish that the customers would understand that most of the times we have to wait for their food when we get their also there is traffic sometimes we do ask if all the food is there cause we can't look inside and the workers say yes so we go by what they say also to let every one that the maps we use to find there homes or places take us wrong ways so sadly so i have to call to find out were to go or use my side map user to find them these maps not on task 😥 I am grateful for the understanding customers 💖”
