I ordered over $120 worth of food and supplies from DashMart and received another customer's order filled with almost all food I can't eat (mostly junk food). DoorDash refused to issue a refund or deliver the correct order. When I sent an email reply, I was notified that "this email is no longer being monitored as this case has been marked resolved." Resolved? Not by a long shot, suckers. I called their support phone number and was speaking with a live agent very quickly. Throughout this conversation I remained calm, professional, and courteous as I explained the situation by essentially reading highlights from my (ignored) email to him. This email is reproduced here: . Matt C. *email redacted* 12:20 AM (47 minutes ago) to DoorDash Hi, So I have three bags of food most of which I absolutely cannot eat rather than my actual order, and I'm expected to just say, "Okey dokey, thanks!" I just want my actual order. I don't want a refund. Also, you state that one of the "relevant factors" is overall account history. How is it my fault when an order I placed and paid for is filled incorrectly? In what business on what planet does that fly? This resolution is entirely unacceptable and I do not consider it resolved in any way. This case needs to be re-opened and escalated immediately, as this is akin to consumer fraud. I am not hesitant to: * dispute the charge with my bank, * publicly document this incident across social media, as is my right under the Consumer Review Fairness Act * file a complaint with the Consumer Protection Division of the office of Indiana State Attorney General, and * engage my attorney if necessary. This really could be worked out much more simply: deliver my correct order and we're square, case closed. I'm a very busy person and I don't relish the idea of spending any of my limited time dealing with all this. Plus, it creates unnecessary headaches for your staff. I will expect a phone call between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM ET on Friday, June 14, from no less than a director- or management-level representative to reach a mutually agreeable solution. They have no idea what is about to hit them. DO NOT BLINDLY AND HELPLESSLY ALLOW YOURSELF TO BE BULLIED BY CORPORATIONS. Within your rights and the limits of the law, there are always resources to fight back. Know your rights and use them. All I wanted was my fruit and whatnot. I'm not looking to get anything for free, just what I actually paid for. Now look where we are. It's a shame a company like DoorDash is so callous, deceptive and borderline fraudulent in their billing and support practices. Of course they're light years from being the first and only offenders which they see as a license to abuse customers, but that doesn't make it right. It's your money, not theirs. For a company that--while revenue is trending positively for the moment--in six years of reporting they still operated at a net loss of $558M as of 2023. The year 2022 was even worse, with a net operating loss of almost $1.4B. (Fun fact: Doordash does not allow Yelp or Google reviews. Hooray for transparency by a publicly traded company.) Combine those financials with the growing revolt of local/mom-and-pop establishments who are angered about the significant and ever-increasing fees charged to them for utilizing the Doordash platform, and I know founder Tony Xu is laughing all the way to the bank without a care in the world. (cue Black Flag's "Rise Above" or Twisted Sister's "We're Not Gonna Take It" for the epic ending to this epic tale of first world problems)

The drivers are stopping at an address before me and my orders are tampered with. I am very familiar with the restaurants I order from and I know how it should look and taste. I can see on the map where the driver is and that he stops for 10 min before delivering to me...???

I have used them twice and I should have learned the first time! I Will NEVER use them again despite the fact they have better options then skip....I might need to check out UBER!

Worst customer service ever!! Do your drivers not follow GPS? Why is this the only delivery service I have issues with?! It doesn't matter that I put notes into delivery directions. When I called because the driver of door dash didn't deliver to the correct address I was told to call customer service of the restaurant. The driver works for door dash and can't read directions and delivered to the wrong address and didnt speak english. Make that make sense. Never again!!

I ordered from KFC on FM 78 and I live on 2800 of Rod Schaffe. At least have your driver's bilingual enables them to effectively communicate with all their customers. With all the road closure, it's a must to know which roads has closures. Don't give a handoff time and show up 15 minutes late . Call customer service all I got was smoke blow up my azz. My complaint is not on KFC behalf , but with door dash. Not even a partial refund , they just wanted to talk around the issues.

The company is sad. Now they've outsourced the customer service. Only making it more difficult to contact them or get a resolution to a problem. The refund you get (whether a credit or refund) is never for the amount charged. With this kind of business practice they might as well be thieves.

Garbage company. So I wasn't gonna continue dashing after 30 deliveries. But I googled if there was a bonus for doin 50 deliveries and it said it would guarantee 500 if u didn't make 500 within the 50. Sure enough I call them amd they say in order to get it you have to have an email saying your so. On their website they say guarantee to get it after 50 But in the next question under it reads you have to have am email.. You would think the would put it all in one so they dont get excited like I did and continue to dash.. Straight scam/lost leader. Smh. Also after 50 deliveries you can't even schedule dashing for more then an hour. And can only dash certain hours. Which is even more garbage. Rather do Uber eats.. Last thing the lady that helped me over the phone hung up on me and never gave me a reason I wasn't qualified. Bs. I wouldn't work for such a company if I were u.

Ordered several times. Twice forgot sauces...once halfed order, ordered 2 sandwiches, lucky I fot the one.. worst service ever on each occassion

Ordered food. Paid for it. It did not get delivered to my house. I called the driver to report that he delivered it to the wrong house. He said he delivered it to the right house and hung up the phone. I walked down the street to find my order and a raccoon was eating the food. I complained to Door Dash that I did not receive my food order. They have repeatedly denied my requests for a credit or refund. They are a scam. Terrible customer service. They took my money and I received No food. No credit. No refund.

I have reluctantly used this service one 3 separate occasions. Each time was worse than the last. If this is my option for food delivery, I will no longer trust they can do the job. Last time the driver spoke no English. Couldn't make the delivery and I was unable to speak with them to give directions. Some advice, if they can't speak the language they are unsuitable employees.

DoorDash was great whenever it first came out. But now when the drivers or the restaurants miss handle the food or forget the items, you request a refund, they'll take their sweet time giving it back, 7 buisness days. But when you order, they take their money immediately. When calling back they explain it is because of my bank. So i call my bank and they explain to me i have no pending refunds from dooedash. And I still haven't been refunded. I will never use this service again..

I ordered my food got half right. Driver ignored my call what a waste. Not even 1 star because I can't contact door dash personaly.....

Ordered from KFC - my usual order of a four piece combo. It also came with two long black hairs on the chicken so wasn't even edible. The fries, on the other hand, were cold in the middle.

very very worst deliver service. Their driver did not show up. I placed 2 orders of $51 and did not get my order. they just refunded me $30 and when i called them they told me that they have a policy of 3 day to get the money refunded. I took my $20 and did not even delivered food. Their customer support is the worst support i have seen in my life. they just care about their money, not the customer.

Claudia the door dash driver did not speak English and did not deliver my food to my work at dominos very easy to find he or she is either dumber than a bag of hammers or they stole my food on purpose. I will never order doordash ever again. Claudia ruined it for all the other doordash drivers. I lost $20 and my whole day was ruined.

My dasher account was deactivated recently. They said that my acceptance rate was too low. Well, the reason is, and I've reported this on several occasions to Doordash, is because their preacceptance mileage will have less miles that the post acceptance mileage. For instance, the dash may offer $10 for a 5 mile trip so I accepted the dash. The mileage goes from 5 miles to 15. At that point, I unassign myself from the dash. No one in their right mind would take a dash that has more miles than the dash is worth. I have also reported several times that the place they sent me to is either closed or they have stopped doing dashes before the order was placed. Instead of getting the full amount, I would only get 1/2 the amount. This is understandable; however, by going to the restaurant & not getting the full amount, I could have been on another dash that would have provided me with a higher amount. I am not obligated to take dashes that are $3, $4, $5 to go 8-10 miles. The dash acceptance is to each dasher's preference. All my customer reviews for me have been excellent. I am very disappointed in door dash. Their rates are too low & the only reason I made money is because I had more than 1 delivery app going at the same time.

BEWARE! DoorDash will not provide the services you pay for if you prepay for the one year membership, shall you simply move less than two miles away, which is still in the prime area of their delivery area. I have tried for weeks to get deliveries to the new address and Door Dash will not pull up the address, which again is in the prime delivery zone at apartments directly off the main road in the city. I have given up on Doordash performing delivery services I have already paid for and asked for a refund of the 9 months left that I prepaid for. Doordash refuses. I sent this argument to the BBB along with screenshots of the conversations with doordash “agents” basically telling me that Doordash knows they are cheating me and there is nothing they can do about it and I can still “enjoy” their services until February of 2025, of which I have already paid. Again, I confirmed one cannot “enjoy services “ that a business refuses to perform. Hopefully the BBB can light the fire and get DoorDash to private a refund since they refuse to provide the services. Since reporting to the BBB, I had three calls back to back to back that I finally answered that ended up being what sounded like an elementary aged child from Doordash (in her home with children screaming and tv blasting) that barely could speak English and only knew the line “refresh your app” and couldn’t understand anything I had to say. Thankfully we have BBB to protect customers. Beware of Doordash and prepaying for their services. They are a scam.

Someone hacked my account and ordered a $32 breakfast pizza. I got the order canceled, but DoorDash refuses to refund my money. BS company.
