I have lived in several different parts of the country and recieve parcels regularly through all the different parcels companies. DPD are, without a shadow of doubt, the worst parcel company, employing dreadful delivery drivers and truely dreadful customer support. I cannot state strongly enough how bad these morons are!

I was waiting for an important medicine, their driver could not found my address (in Central London) and for 3 days he said nobody was at home to collect the item (FALSE). Had 4 calls with their customer service, clearly not trained to resolve issues like this, to make sure the driver would have finally delivered the item. Last night I checked my mobile bill and discovered those 4 calls costed me £28. Sent an email to complain and below their answer. I don't have to add that if they couldn't deal with it on the phone any of their tools would have never helped. STOP USING THEIR SERVICE, AND NEVER TRY TO CALL THEM. DPD: I'm really sorry that this was the case, unfortunately we do not provide compensation for this and the case is out of any claim time we provide of 14 days, we have other ways i.e. email and the DPD app were you can do and use all the services we provide free of charge I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this has caused yourself. Kind regards Bev DPD Customer services.

I've paid for for next day delivery of 2 parcels to arrive on Friday. My Driver Paul has both parcels. He drops 1 parcel with the concierge (he can never be bothered to bring parcels to my flat) as paid for and can't be bothered to take the other off the van so he sends me a message saying there was no one in to receive the parcel (I was in and the concierge is there 24 hours a day). He also sends a picture of a random door that is nothing to do with where I live and an obvious lie. He has delivered 1 of 2 parcels paid for and is too lazy to get the 2nd off the van. After a lot of back and fourth with customer service I am promised my delivery will arrive the following day. It is now the end of the following day and I am still without my parcel. Apparently it will now be Monday. Once again I have been lied to by DPD. I have experienced this repeatedly and complained repeatedly since November and we are now mid February. I am constantly fed a stream of lies by DPD who seem to think this level of service is acceptable. I can understand an odd mistake here and there but this is 1 delivery driver (Paul in Vauxhall London) regularly making up false reasons why he has not delivered a parcel. He has done the same with a number of parcels for my partner at the same address containing thousands of pounds worth of camer equipment after he has paid for a 1 hour delivery slot on a Saturday. Paul uses 2 lies repeatedly, that there was no one in (there always is) or that he couldn't find the address (he knows exactly where we are I see him here on an almost daily basis). Even more worrying is that DPD appear to think that feeding paying customers repeated lies is an acceptable form of service. It absolutely is not. I cannot advise against using this company in any stronger way.

Your App gives NO choice not to leave a parcel with a Neighbor. Its the last selection in the setup process and you can not reject this option. This isn't service, its a planned process of DPD to complete their job under their terms.

I have been waiting for the past 3 days for a delivery and every time I was given a time frame. I sat at home and wasted all my time for 3 days. I had to always reach out to their customer service on an 0845 number and on the 3rd day, after waiting all morning, I called to be told that it will be delivered at 5 pm because there was a human error OR I could make my way to the depot to collect it (18 pounds from my house one way). Their services are appealing, please avoid. Their escalation team is non-existent. I feel sorry for the agent working on the front line.

Today I got a message saying that DPD were going to deliver my parcel between a 1hour slot, fabulous. They even told me the name of the driver. Then they sent a message saying that as I wasn't home they could not deliver. The delivery driver went to a different address then sent a photo of the wrong house 74a instead of 4. I suppose I'm lucky they weren't in. They could have taken my parcel. I contacted DPD which was a task to even get through. It took forever for someone to actually come on to the phone. I had to endure listening to the news! It just repeated and repeated. This really stressed me out even more. Luckily there was a lovely young lady who was very apologetic. She is their saving grace.

Delivery driver took a picture of a random house and said I wasn't in.. I rang the DPD number and after about 300years I got some moron full of appologies who promised the driver would return later, guess what? The driver didn't return. I wasted a day and still don't have my £600 parcel.. if I do meet Ben the delivery driver tomorrow on his second delivery attempt (that's assuming he doesn't just take a picture of another random house) I'm going to take so much pleasure in telling him what I think of DPD as a company. The thing that makes me most angry is my phone number is on the parcel... why oh why couldn't he just ring me... it's so retarded that a human being competent enough to drive a van can't read a delivery note and make a phone call.....

I ordered a sentimental gift for my brother who leaves the country tomorrow morning 4 days ago, next day delivery. I have just been told that my parcel went to the wrong depot and I won't get this now until tomorrow, which is too late! So not only would my parcel have taken 5 days to get to me it will miss his send off and he won't be able to take this keepsake with him ultimately ruining it! It also leaves me no time to get a replacement, I am utterly devastated. Do not use this company!!!!!

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!! I ordered a gift for my brothers send off for next day delivery. 4 days later I have been told it went to the wrong depot and I won't have this until tomorrow (at some point) He leaves for Australia tomorrow morning....so not only is my parcel 5 days late but he now won't get my leaving present to him. Utterly atrocious. They don't even deserve 1 star

For the 3rd time today a DPD delivery driver rings the wrong bell, sends a text that no one is home and leaves. The contact number provided is just to an automated system to reschedule delivery, no option to speak to an actual human being so customer services is virtually non-existent. I had to take a day off work to receive this delivery and now I have to take another! AVOID DPD!

They were supposed to deliver my parcel on the specific date, but they didn't. When I called them, the operator told me that they haven't received my original adress from the place I did my shopping. Their service is like a joke!!!

Success! The furniture item delivered. Thank you 'Furniture Market' of Tarporley, Cheshire for a really excellent service 5 out of 5 for you. DPD should introduce a minus score on their grid.

Supplying company contacted the courier and is also not happy as differing excuses as to why the item hasn't been delivered being given by DPD. (Think I've read that in other reviews). Item is being reclaimed by the supplier who will arrange for a replacement to be delivered to us tomorrow (obviously not through DPD). In sentiment with other reviewers, any goods we look to purchase on-line will be declined if the deliverer is DPD as they appear incapable/unwilling to operate a professional courier service. Good luck to anyone who has to use them.

As a follow up to the small piece of furniture being delivered, supplying company spoke with the courier and the Feltham branch. Everything supposedly arranged for delivery between 9.30 / 10.30 as confirmed earlier today by text sent from the courier. Our phone number also taken for driver contact ........ one presumes. Time has now elapsed and no sign of the courier so far ..... Looks like another wasted day looming. Update to follow

Ordered a small piece of furniture. To my utter dismay I discovered the delivery courier would be DPD. In the past we have been due various deliveries from this company. A mobile telephone which ultimately had to collect from depot. Clothing, ultimately had to collect from local shop - Two occasions. Prior to Christmas a picture was taken of house where apparently 'Nobody in'. The house was in a different road!!! On this occasion, the item was due to be delivered on 17th Jan. Received a text saying 'Nobody in'. Picture of house supplied was at opposite end of the street. Delivery was arranged for 19/Jan between 1.15 / 2.15 p.m. Another text just received saying 'Nobody in' with a picture of the house which is also the same house at opposite end of the street. Well I happened to walk down to this address and spoke to a guy who has been working on lights in the driveway all day at this address and he advised that no van driver tried to deliver any merchandise. It would appear the driver turned up, took a photo of the house and drove on. Instructions were given on 17th Jan to deliver on 19th and reiterated the delivery instructions. Clear and succinct. I would've hoped these were passed to the van driver and they would've been able to read. Apparently not. Phoned up the supplier who have spoken to DPD and apparently delivery now arranged for 20th Jan. I will be back on here tomorrow to advise if DPD have employed any van drivers with common sense and have made a successful delivery.

I paid an extra £5 for Sunday delivery service. Stayed all day at home waiting for delivery. When I call them to find out why the parcel still have not been delivered I was told that they forgotten it in a depot and will deliver some other day. Just one question: why did you charge me extra for Sunday delivery then? I spent my Sunday at home waiting for the delivery I paid extra for and the courier has never turned up. DPD is the most unreliable and incapable couriers ever. Would recommend to everyone to avoid them if possible.

There should be an option for negative stars. DPD drivers are the worst ever. Surely DPD knows their reputation and problems, but decide to ignore the clients. I will not buy anything from any company that uses DPD as courier. If I get to know the courier is DPD will cancel the order immediately and order from another company.

The parcel contained three Christmas presents and was meant to be at one of their pick up locations 5 days before Christmas. Despite daily reassurances from their customer services it did not arrive until 28/12. We even offered to drive the 40 miles to the depot but were told it wouldn't be necessary. The pick up location told me that if they only have one parcel it is too far for them to come and this is a regular occurrence.
