Close your absolutely useless and insulting Customer Services Department - they are just a nightmare from the 40 mins plus standard wait to get through to the absolutely pathetic greeting message by Sinead Crooke - whose idea was that to herald what a bunch of incompetents you all are.....!!!! Absolute Mickey Mouse department and come across as totally cynical with no respect for their customers who FOR NOW keep them in business ! Diabolical !! Unable and unwilling to help customers after what seems to be VERY common unreliable and chaotic 'service' TOTAL NIGHTMARE FROM BEGINNING TO END - AVOID !!! (unless you need to raise your blood pressure and waste hours of your life!!

please I’m begging people not to use the service called dpd ever again,it’s unreliable and unprofessional. they don’t know how to give good services to client. i’m still waiting to receive my parcel from dpd which I called they more than 4 times since last week till now. this is the 3rd time that this is happening to me .. this service should be Band all over the world... please people don’t Waste time using dpd, go for DHL, UPS, post.nl thes are very reliable, Period! From Den Haag, Nederland. I communicated with dpd through email and phone, some the dpd works are very rude when communicating with they. up till now I have not receive my parcel!

DPD couldn't care less whether your parcel is on time, late, lost, damaged as long as you pay. Their Customer Services is the worst ever...rude...disinterested..condescending and confrontational... and as for Sinead Crook - the name says it all !!! AVOID DPD !!

Terrible service. Live-tracking monitor provides fake information: 'Consignee not located, notification has been left.' - no notification is left. Their employee is even unable to run the parcel-tracking system, even the parcel number is provided (experience from e-mailing). Unable to speak English. Even speaking by phone, provide false info: 'Your parcel is in the track, you'l receive it today soon' - was not delivered. In total, during 6 days the Live-Tracking system imitates activity, starting from 'Out for delivery' to 'Unfortunately, we could not deliver your parcel' 6 days! and nobody cares. NEVER AGAIN !!! 1 Star is too much.

Have not received my parcel which was promised only after 4 days. I had to write to the making it right team all the time to know what's happening exactly. When the parcel finally arrived, I went to pick it up from my collection point. The pick up pasd did not work and it said my parcel has already been picked up! Obviously the parcel was in front of me at the shop everyone could see it has not been picked up. The lady in the shop had to call the dpf office and they demanded me to show utility bills on top of my ID just because the pass did not work and it was clearly their fault. I had to wait 35 minutes to get my parcel because of all of this. I was also late from work because of them, and no one said at least sorry. Really disappointed.

Appalling customer service! Didn’t even bother knocking on the door before posting the calling card through! Whats worse is i instructed them on my dpd app to either leave it with my neighbours or place it in my garden which they completely ignored?! Rang through to customer service and they adviced me to go pick it up from their Manchester depot at 6pm which is bang in the middle of rush traffic! Once I got there they told me that the parcel has definitely been scanned in but they couldn’t find it and told me to leave?! I asked why can’t they search again and the supervisor said because they aren’t willing to waste human resources as they’re in a rush to get other jobs?! Seriously what kind of horrendous customer service is this??!!!!!

The one star is for Dan of Customer Services , who dealt with my complaint with courtesy and efficiency. I received notification of the one hour window, which is good, so was waiting at home for delivery. Then got message plus pic saying delivery been left in safe place. NOT my safe place. NOT my shed /greenhouse but definitely my parcel in pic! Spoke to Dan, who contacted driver who retrieved parcel from where he had left it and I met the said driver on the road. His excuse for leaving it in a completely different address was" I couldn't find 28 Orchard View so I left it at 26 Meadow View" Beggars belief!! I must point out that this parcel contained frozen food, box soggy and disintegrating. Very disappointed.

I have lived in a new build house for 2 years and the ONLY courier that cannot find my address is DPD. On one occasion I was told (after they claimed not to be able to find my address) that the van had broken down nearby, I said I would drive to the van to collect my parcel and was then told infact it hadn’t broken down it was making further deliveries and left the area. A complete lie. I ended up having to cancel the order and go without. Not the first or last time it’s happened with DPD.

Delivered to a house 0.5 miles away and sent a photo of a box propped against a wall saying they'd delivered successfully! 40 mins on line to useless customer service who said they couldn't do anything about it as they had delivered to the postcode and that was all they needed to do!! How about actually deliver to the address?! Totally unhelpful and unsympathetic. Still waiting for another delivery which they've taken back to depot as said I wasn't in - not surprising as I don't live at that address!!! Have tried to get redelivery by choosing deliver to a neighbour and putting my own address in!

For the second time, I couldn't get my package on time. I paid extra money for delivery to a certain day. All day I stayed home, canceling all my meetings, but the package never got it. Information about the change delivery date for delivery I received only late evening. Also, there was a problem of the refund of my money spent on the delivery of delivery that was not performed on time. I am sure that in the future I will not use your company's services and categorically not recommend all my friends and acquaintances.

Driver came in my house as was taking me to long to get to front door so he just decided to open the door let himself in to check then he got well aggressive when I told him to get the f out couldn't believe it!!

Absolutely disgusting. If you're a company trying to keep customers DO NOT use this delivery service as they are likely to ruin your business, driving your pissed off customers away. We've had countless issues with them previously. On this occasion, went in the car to sit in the rain for the delivery to the office which was expected on a Sunday, only for no one to turn up then the good for nothing driver to post a "refused" message and ask for a new booking date. When they can't get reliable staff, it's quite simply a service you can't touch if you have an ounce of sense.

DPD delivered £750 worth of my products to somebody and obtained a signature but it wasn’t me! I’d asked for a Friday delivery and DPD agreed, but they turned up on Thursday and there was nobody in so they just gave my belongings to someone else! It’s not my signature and CCTV shows the driver didn’t even come to the house! Now they refuse to even help or trace where the packages are. They just don’t care. They told me to go to citizens advice or the police!!! Unbelievably bad service. As a lone mother I cannot afford to replace these items and I’m in a really bad situation because of DPD. Hours lost on hold and not one employee will help me. Appalling

Waited in 2 days for my package to arrive ... still waiting worst delivery service ever. Text message 1st day informed me I'd changed delivery date !!! WHAT Informed by dpd would be delivered today another wait in checked what was happening to see wasn't delivered as no one I to sign !!! In all day note no card left either plus have a German shepherd who alerts any one near the house what a joke this company is. Never use this company bunch of idiots working for them.

So, I had to go work in France for six months and decided to send a large parcel with DPD instead of getting it with me on the plane. That was the biggest mistake in my whole life. I sent it on the 1 of September just before my flight and expected it in like a week or so. Good, two weeks pass, however, and no sign of my parcel (which was just a large suitcase), I call the local DPD shop (Rennes, Brittany, France) and they told me that they will deliver it in a day or two, after a day or two I call them again, and I get the same answer, after another three days, I call them and they just tell me that they have sent it back to the UK and to sort things out I have to call DPD UK, I call them and they tell that I have to wait until the parcel has arrived in the UK and then someone has to send it again for me (and that person obviously has to pay both the return trip and the delivery), so basically I really wanted to learn the reason for all this, turns out they couldn't find my address and instead of calling me they decided that the best idea was to send it back home. OK, so I tried to swallow all this somehow and had the parcel sent again, this time they decided to actually show up at my address (this time they magically found it) but since I live in a residential park they have to go to the reception where they refuse all deliveries for some reason (tried to speak with them but my French is not perfect and they do not speak English) so I called DPD and told them instead of going to the reception just call me, I will come down to pick my parcel up. However, they steadfastly refuse to that, why, because I have only my British phone number, and so I call them, they tell me they will deliver it and will call me, then on the next day they just go to the reception, are refused and there is no call. I have had to call them 3 times so far, they are truly the worst delivery company.

Honestly the worst courier company ever. Never get my parcel in time when they delivered cause they are not bother to even check the right address and go to the wrong one

Unbelievably bad. All they needed to do was to deliver a parcel to a shop that was open 9am to 8pm where I would go out of my way to collect from. Why? Because I didn't want their driver to turn up at my house when I was not in and have a wasted trip. Parcel delivered to shop and email sent saying I could collect it. All good. Get to the shop, no parcel. Go back into the tracking information and it now says that it is being returned to the sender for absolutely no reason. No update email provided saying that the parcel is no longer at the shop awaiting collection (notwithstanding the 4 hour gap between collection and my arrival at the shop). Tried to resolve online - not possible. Online service says that the parcel is still at the local depot. Phone up and get a recorded message saying the parcel is at a different depot at the other end of the Country. Hold for c. 20 minutes to speak to a person who "calls" the depot and instructs them to send the parcel back out to the pick up location. I will get a call back in an hour to confirm progress. 4 hours later, no call...so I go online again. Parcel now marked as being returned to the sender (again for no reason). Phone customer services again, wait 20 minutes on hold to speak to someone who AGAIN advises she will deal with the depot and get the parcel sent out to the pick up location. I will receive a call in an hour. 2 hours later, no call. Back on to customer services. Another 20 minute wait to be told that the parcel left the depot to be returned to the sender an hour ago (so after my second call, and an hour after the time marked on the system stating that the parcel should not be returned to the sender) and there was nothing she could do. Ask to speak to a supervisor to be told that she couldn't transfer me to a supervisor but she would get someone to call me back. Funnily enough, the idea of someone calling me back does not fill me with confidence. Company who sent the parcel contacted in the hope they stop using DPD who, it would appear, are a delivery company who can't deliver. I have emailed Sinead Croke and had what would appear a stock response (I am in meetings, I will get my executive team to look into it)...Again, I don't hold out much hope there.
