This is the second time DPD have done this to me. The tracking information says attempted delivery but no one was in to sign for the parcel even though I've been in all day and received another parcel from a different courier. Once they delivered a parcel that looked like in had been in ww3 and the box was sodden wet (electical item) DPD service is so bad that I've started to look to make sure there not used when shopping online. In this case the courier details wasn't provided. Never known a service this bad, 5 items brought online at same time, including from ebay and DPD are the last to deliver yet again. I have a feeling the delivery drivers just can't be bothered and say they have attempted delivery. Avoid DPD whenever possible would be my advice. Hate requiring to give them 1 star.

Absolutel liars!! I waited in all day and at 4.06pm they say that the driver attempted to make a delivery but nobody was there to sign for it... Lies! The driver has also got the ability to avoid CCTV because he certainly never came anywhere near our property. The item was needed for this weekend and now it says on their site that they will try again on Monday. Absolutel rubbish. I live in a small hamlet. The driver was probably running late and wanted to be home on a Friday night... A poor service!!!

Assumed authorisation to leave an expensive computer with neighbor. Neighbor denies receipt of goods item now lost and more importantly I'm now behind shcedule with my business due to loss of important computer. Customer service was a waste of a whole afternoon. They said they had authority to deliver to any neighbor because I hadn't opted out of the deliver to neighbour service. The sender specifically instructed dpd to only deliver to myself at my address. Opt out system is hidden away in the app and as a reciever of parcels I had no reason to check the app prior to encountering a problem. Dpd have refused to accept any responsibility for loosing my parcel as they claim they were autherised to deliver to any neighbor.

If I could I would give it 0 stars. Absolutely ridiculous company. I was meant to get my parcel Tuesday, however the driver didn’t bother to stop and made out no one was home to sign, I had been indoors all day. I then email them and they said there was nothing they could do it’ll be delivered Wednesday. I then get a text saying as requested we’ve changed your delivery date the the 16th (Thursday) i didn’t not change this, so I emailed again and they admitted it was a colleague who done that in error. I have now waited in Thursday, stood at my window whilst tracking the driver which said he on delivery 109 and mine was 110 so he would be here any minute. Nope I get a text saying no one was home you will have to collect at a near by shop. The driver didn’t bother to stop once again. I paid a delivery charge for a reason. Absolutely fuming! Very poor customer service.

Absolutely disgusting service Absolutely disgusting service. We were in all day and the driver said he rang the bell, he lied on three occasions! Tues he was supposed to pick up a parcel, said he rang and nobody was here, we were here! Wednesday said he rang, we were here! Thursday he said he rang this time I heard the van and so waited by the font door, heard bleep bleep bleep as he entered info into his little scanner, he didn’t knock and he didn’t ring the bell. I then heard him getting into his van and I chased after him. I asked why he didn’t knock or ring the bell he said he did, remember I was behind the front door. I told him he was a liar and that he lied the past three days. He muttered something, probably best I didn’t make hear, at the time I was demonstrating that the doorbell works! He then said that he couldn’t take it, because if no labels, the box was in the hallway which he couldn’t see correctly and for all he knew labels were on other side. He told me to have a good day in a very sarcastic tone at which I told him to get stuffed! This was on the Thursday 15/08/2019. The parcel was to be picked up from Eastway, Nailsea, his name is Michael. The man’s a liar and and A fool!

Incredible! For three times they sent me a message saying that no one was at home and my delivery couldn't be attended. They didn't even ring the door, didn't try at all to deliver it and the only number you find to call them is a number that cost a fortune. DON'T CALL IT.

Absolutely appalling service - I was at home tracking my delivery today and all of a sudden the tracking information says my delivery was made and signed for but it didn't come to my home or my neighbours and DPD cannot make contact with the driver!!! Customer services say they will investigate and it will take up to 5 working days but I have to contact my sender for more information, their attitude and customer complaint procedures are poor to say the least!.......to say I am angry about this appalling company is an understatement. DO NOT USE THEM IF YOU VALUE YOUR CUSTOMERS OR WANT RELIABILITY!! I would not even give them 1 star! UKtrustpilot shows that 52% of reviews are BAD!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I have had multiple issues with DPD, this being the last straw (one of my bridesmaids dress) I will make sure any company I use doesn't send via DPD. your customer service voice message is from the director of customer service... Well a message to you, you have some of the most unhelpful customer service staff I have ever come across. It seems this is a trending theme so well done DPD! If I could give less than 1 star I would

I can not believe that you have NOT parcelled my items to the location they where supposed to be delivered to. You were informed that the parcels are going to no:35 but instead of reading the instructions you were given you past my items on to no:37 What was the need for that no:35 has been sat indoors waiting for this her windows where wide opened enough... (shout throw or call) Clearly reading simple instructions must be difficult or is it that MONEY more important Thank you for your 0* service

the driver did not even attempted the delivery (yes, I was tracking on the application, so knew he was close) just stopped outside of the gate, surprise, it was locked. did not ring the bell, anything, just taken a picture, and left!!!!! call that delivery!?!?!? the drivers must be getting paid by attempting to deliver rather then the actual delivery!

A French company delivered a product using DPD. It was delivered 1 week before the expected date and as we were, not surprisingly, out DPD used its initiative. The package was dropped 6 feet over our locked gates onto the ground beyond. No card, no forewarning, no follow up. No brains. DPD are useless and dangerous for one's belongings

Disappointing- needed a replacement phone that promised next day delivery. Had the texts and emails telling me that i would be allocated a 1 hour delivery slot by 11.00 am. No further texts or emails arrived and the only tracking showed the collection. Chased (having been left on hold for 20min) and was told that there had been technical difficulties and the phone hadn't left their sorting depot. Then told that the earliest delivery would be Monday, not the next day. So had to wait 4 days for my next day delivery. To rub it in further , they sent me a text thanking me for changing the delivery!!!!

Not the first time we've had such terrible experiences. Over the last month we have used GANT, John Lewis, TM Lewin etc. for parcel delivery. Each time we select a local store so no one has to be in and each time the tracking says your package will be delivered...the time passes and the update says "your package was refused". We know the store owner as a fairly small town and he hasn't even seen the DPD van on those days. Turns out if they are going to be late back they don't bother to deliver. We've had packages go missing in the warehouse etc. and not even sure why these companies keep using DPD nor why nothing is being done to prevent these cowboy companies.

Used to be a reliable firm. Have delivered to my address severaltimes in the past. They now seem to be the pits! Three "attempts" at delivering my parcel. 1. Tried using a drop off point - local Matalan store. Big place. Wide open front doors. Driver apparently went round the back. Rang a bell. Manager claims she answered immediately. Driver drove off as door was opened. 2. Tried to get the delivery at home. Gate wide open. Name on gate in capitals. Driver slowed down, then drove past. Witnessed by local builder. Got an email saying no one at home! Said a card was left, (never was!). Tried to communicate by email. Address did not work. Telephone number is simply a blocking device. Supplying company, Eden books tried to help. 3. Another home delivery was arranged for the following day, (today). Delivery time slot was given. Had an email at the start of that period saying "Oh no we missed you"!! The only reason they missed was that the driver made no attempt to deliver the parcel!! Conclusion: If a supplying company uses DPD, I will no longer use that company.

I ordered a SIM card for a disabled friend from a phone company and paid £5.95 for next day delivery. I expected it on Tuesday, but did not receive an email with a Time slot. I spoke to someone on the phone who explained that it had missed the collection. She assured me that it would arrive today. This morning I had an email from DPD to ay that it was delayed in transit, but they had resolved the issue and it would be delivered tomorrow (Thursday). The phone company is refunding the £5.95. I do not know why companies use DPD and similar outfits. My experience is that they are much less reliable than the normal postal service.

Dreadful, Pathetic,Diabolical If you are thinking of using this shower of idiots, think again. Read all the opinions offered online- then delete their name. This is not just the worst delivery company - they believe “ sorry “ is the end of the matter., When- not If you have a problem, that is only the beginning. Communication is unknown to dpd
