I used eFoam to supply a matress for my boat. I sent measurements and drawings but after two attempts they failed to supply what I ordered. Despite sending the foam back they are refusing to make a full refund. They can't read a tape measure or drawing and are crooks!

DELIVERED THE WRONG PRODUCT 250mm diameter instead of 150mm YOU ASKED FOR PROOF by way of photo I emailed this 3 times before you acknowledged receipt You then asked for pictures of its length --- completely irrelevant I called and expressed my annoyance at you time-wasting you have refused to replace with correct product you will not refund until you have received product back this is the worst customer service I have ever known

Item cut too small in every dimension. Contacted Efoam who (after I had spent over £20 with them) blithely told me that their cutting tolerances are +/- 2cm - not a lot of help on a cusion that is (or should have been) 8cm. BEWARE!!!

I ordered a sheet of foam from eFoam, shown in their add as a pristine white foam. What actually arrived was a sheet of foam, white around the edges with a large mustard coloured patch in the middle. When I contacted the Sales Manager I received no apology but the excuse that when foam is exposed to light discolouration occurs, I fail to see how this can happen in the middle of a sheet. I was then told that once they had received the foam back they would refund, no offer of prepaid labels for the return were mentioned even though I did request this. To return this shoddy foam would be expensive and inconvenient.

Dear Anonymous Reviewer, We are sorry to hear that you have not been happy with your order. We have located your details and correspondence with our sales manager who despite our terms and conditions advised that if you are not happy with your order we can accept a return and refund your order in full. Furthermore, foam does start to discolour once exposed to light and we have not stated anywhere that the foam grade you ordered is a pristine white colour, the slight variations in colours do not effect the performance or quality of our foam grades. Foam ordered was not as described, manager avoided my phone calls, did not return calls, staff would not engage in any ration debate. Ultimately they became rude, had to take case to my bank who eventually arranged refund. Very let down by whole experience.

Dear Anonymous Reviewer, We keep an audited trail of all communications made and can assure anyone reading this, the customer emailed stating they were not happy with the firmness of the mattress they had ordered. We advised they had ordered the firm grade and the order was processed and dispatched according to the order requirements. The customer received a telephone call from our sales manager followed with an email advising them that although the foam had been used, as a gesture of good will we would be happy to accept a return and refund the order in full. This customer instead wanted to keep the mattress and receive a full refund, in an attempt to do so they contacted their bank. However, the order has not been refunded as the goods have not been returned to us. We are not a charity, we are a professional business and as such cannot give out free foam. In all cases we will try to help and resolve any issues our customers may have. Sadly, in this case the customer was dishonest in an attempt to purchase a free foam mattress.

Firstly the order was cancelled without any message to let me know and secondly the density of the foam was rather misleading or at least I misunderstood, either way it was not fit for purpose. it was too soft for use in a vehicle seat as suggested in the product description.

We purchased 2 foam seats for our sofa on 22 January and these promptly arrived on 25 January. Unfortunately the shape was cut incorrectly so we called on the same day to let you know. The lady we spoke to was very helpful and realised what the mistake was so said someone would call us back the following day to sort this out. No-one called us back for quite some time the following day so we called you back instead. We were told again, someone would get back to us as they needed to speak to a manager but the woman we spoke to said the foam would be collected and then once it was received back, the correct foam would be sent out. This seemed like a waste of couriers and resources making two trips? Again, no-one called us back on that day which was a Friday so we then had to wait until after the weekend to speak to someone. On Monday 29 Jan, my partner called you to organise the collection etc and it proved a very lengthy process with which he was quite unhappy - it would take about another week to get the correct foam which was an issue for us because were were without seats in our sofa. My partner did get quite frustrated on the phone but at no point did he swear or speak offensively to the young woman but she saw fit to put the phone down on him.

They sent the incorrect foam in one of my orders but because it was cut before I realised they refused to address the issue.

Dear Mark, We are sorry to hear you have been unhappy with our service. However, please be advised we immediately offered to arrange a collection of the product and refund or recut your order. You advised you had already cut and used the foam before contacting us, completing your project. We understand mistakes can occur and eFoam will gladly replace any incorrect item. However, we cannot replace or refund an order that has been cut / used. We would always request that customers check their orders upon receipt as with any purchases made from any businesses. Very disappointing product. Ordered replacement sofa cushions, website advice was to order firm and I also chose the additional domed option and polyfibre wrap. When the items arrived the foam is not firm but rock hard, too hard to sit on with any comfort. The doming is non-existent and the foam is wrapped in loose cobweb like mesh that gathers and catches on the cushion covers. All concerns reported to customer services but no help offered as cut to measure products are apparently excluded from any returns - even if the product is substandard.

here is a quote from the website, 'We can also cut acoustic foam in other shapes, just click foam cut to size.' so, I clicked foam cut to size, ordered a 12" wedge & it came & the foam was blue with a white line through it?! not acoustic foam but blue Mattresses foam? & they would not accept a return?! awful service & rude to me in emails

I wanted to order two sheets of upholstery foam, which came to £30.98. I live on an island in the Firth of Clyde and postage here is no more expensive than to anywhere else on the UK. However, this company wanted to charge me £20 delivery fee as I'm told they don't use mail service and only deliver by courier - thereby incurring ferry charges. Why? Two sheets of upholstery foam would not have been a big parcel. Disappointed but won't pay £20 delivery on £30 items.

We are bound by the terms and conditions of the parcel delivery companies. All our customers enjoy free shipping to mainland UK. However, when a carrier applies a surcharge we have to pass this on to our customers. We do not profit or benefit in any way from these charges. This company tried to supply me with matresses foam that was four inches out despite being given precise measurments. One even had a tapered end. They were curt bordering on rude when I attempted to resolve their mistake. They hung up on me. I would warn anyone to go elsewhere.

We have several checks before foam is sent out to make sure that the size is correct, in line with the customers order. Where there is a dispute, this is standard procedure before we can have the goods collected for a replacement or refund to be issued. We bought LD33 Plastazote from eFoam with adhesive backing. Most of the adhesive film already seperated from the foam before applying and when removing the backing film it released from the foam. Very bad quality and I would strongly recommend other suppliers as there after service was also appalling taking no responsibility for the problem.

For attention of manager. ref: RC20337642 They don't honor their TnCs on returns. They offer free postage upon purchase then deduct a previously unknown delivery fee when they refund. Contrary to their TnCs section 5.1-5.4. No manager to deal with complaints.

The foam was badly converted from inches to cms which meant they sent the wrong size foam. Having reported this I was told that there invoice said that measurement so it was right! I pointed out that there invoice was not an accurate reflection of the order placed. They asked for photo's to show the measurements, I have sent these but they are now ignoring my emails. If they can't use inches why include them on the select a size section, I could send an invoice and claim they owe me £10,000 as it says so on my invoice but that's not the way it usually works. This started in March and now at the end of May they have decided that just ignoring me means they can keep my money, would definitely not recommend this business to anyone.

During the ordering process, our cart software asks the customer to confirm their order and then the checkout process begins. Once the checkout process is complete, customers automatically receive a further confirmation email allowing them to check and to contact us if necessary, to make any amendments to their order. Our Cart is a fully automated process using third party service providers (RomanCart) to which we have no access whatsoever to change any aspect of details entered. Copy of letter of complaint to e Foam On Tuesday 21 March I placed an on line order for a piece of foam to line my eyepiece case, the size required was 47 cm x 32 cm, and as it was less than £1 extra to order 2 pieces, I did so, together with some spray adhesive. A package arrived on Thursday 23 March, but it appeared to contain only the glue and not the foam. I contacted your company to report this and spoke to Saroz, who informed me that 2 tiny pieces of foam were in fact in the package, it turned out that the pieces of foam were in fact 47 mm x 32 mm not 47 cm x 32 cm as required. I accept that I made have made a mistake when I placed the on line order, and clicked the box for millimetres instead of centimetres, but common sense should have prevailed, and you should have first contacted me to check whether I really did want 2 pieces of foam this size, and was willing to pay around £8 for this. However it appears that instead of providing good customer service, you were far more interested in making a fast buck. In fact if you wanted to provide good customer service you should have offered to supply some foam of the correct size, as no extra cost, or just charged me for the second lot of postage. Clearly your company has never heard of the expression that ‘the customer is always right’. No withstanding these shortcomings however, I did place and paid for a new order for a piece of foam of the correct size, and because of the delay, opted for and paid for next working day delivery. This time I did receive am email confirming the order, an in particular confirming the size required, something I did not receive with my initial order, had I done so I would have realised that there had been a mix up over the size, and been able to contact you before the order was dispatched. The confirmation e mail (copy enclosed) has the time 13:40, and my order would have been place about 30 minutes earlier. However despite paying an extra £2.75 for my order to arrive the next worrking day, I received an e mail from Saroz at 14:58, stating that the order would be dispatched Friday to arrive the following Monday. In other words although my initial order for which I opted for standard postage, took 2 days for delivery, an order for which I had paid an extra £2.75 would take 4 days!. Charging extra for next day delivery and then delivering 4 days later is misrepresentation, and could be an offence under the Trade Descriptions Act, in regard to which I am considering contacting the Trading Standards Officer. The piece of foam of the correct size, did finally arrive on Monday 27 March At the very least I consider that you should at least refund me the cost of the Next Day Delivery, which you did not (forgive the pun) deliver. terrible service, where can i start, the foam came wrong size, i was first given the run around for 4 hours then finally i got through to someone who told me 'tuff' basically you will have to get a refund off paypal, so im £155.00 out of pocket and have also had to pay out to another company to get the correct order, the women on the phone just hung up on me when i said i wasnt happy. BE WARNED DONT USE THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY !
