Dear Paul Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. I'm sorry to see the breakfast was not to your taste and I will pass your comments over to the lounge manager regarding service so improvements can be made. Kind Regards Aspire Lounge Team

freezing room cold tiny breakfast served on a saucer. stayed around 30 mins total waste of time. i wish i had the option of transferring my booking to another airport. this is very unusual because we use aspire rooms a minimum 4 times a year at different airports and never ever have we had such a poor experience

I have used the lounge prior to the new restrictions and it was okay however I was not impressed by the service this time. The breakfast was served in a box which was not very nice and the menu was very limited, it was not worth the cost. I’m sure there would be ways around this as implemented abroad... like the use of gloves etc. Why did they feel the need to serve breakfast in a box ?!? And not provide a plate to even tip it out on? Not worth the money ... food was rubbish don’t think I’ll bother in future.

We were notified that the lounge was not open until 5am, so we arrived at 5.20am. We were greeted courteously & told all food & drink would be table Service. This initially sounded fine as the place looked virtually empty so we assumed the service would be swift and efficient. We then had to wait 40 minutes for a bacon bun & cooked breakfast. The quality was appalling. Everything was dry & over cooked, no butter on the bread, which was stale, making it too dry to eat, the tea was cold & served with uht pots of milk. We thought spending an hour in the “Executive Lounge” before our flight would be Covid safe & relaxing. In fact it was stressful as we were constantly clock watching hoping our food & drink would arrive in time for us to eat it & worrying when more customers than anticipated began to fill up the available seating. The bench seat adjacent to me had a large tear in the vinyl & the viscous aircon made the whole room freezing cold. All this cost us £60! The biggest waste of £60 I’ve ever spent.

Lounge had not given any thought for food for vegans. They came up with some extremely poor substitutes - and in very small portions. But maybe the most disturbing was my wife and I ordered tea. It came lukewarm at best - in England of all places. Very poor value for the money.

24th September me an my wife attended your lounge. I must stress at this time we have attended many times over the years. We stayed for 1 hour. Put briefly. The service was shocking. Our waiter was just too busy on the phone than serving us. He taken our drink and food order. Then paced up and down on the phone the whole time we was with you. After 25mins I walked over to the front desk the lady was just lovely. In a instant we had food and drinks. But to be fare our experience was already tarnished. You must do better if you wish to have repeat business. For me and my wife though. Very very Poor service and the food that wouldn't fill a mouse.

The food was terrible. I have already e mailed a complaint about the poor choice, the quality of the food, the fact that our soup and main course turned up at the same time, the absence of popular drinks and only diet colas. Very poor value for money. I paid £90 for the 3 of us. I would have got better value elsewhere in the airport. We usually use No. 1 lounge, which is excellent but it was not available on this occasion. I will not be booking your lounge again. I think a 50% refund would be reasonable but I was refused a refund in response to my complaint.

I cancelled (Covid)a reservation in January 2020 for a reservation in June 2020 Upon cancellation, an auto response stated that the refund was sent. To date, still no refund issued. Perhaps it is an error but I still am awaiting the refund (8 months) October 2 2020

Aspire was disappointing on every level: less than welcoming reception, food appalling - tiny pieces of over-cooked chicken sadly squashed in the corner of a takeaway box with a few spoonfuls of dull rice - and warm white wine to accompany it. Not worth the money. Clubrooms far better.

It was the worst experience of airport lounge We had ever experienced! When we eventually found a free table to sit at, we had to clear it ourselves and after getting the attention of someone to give the table a wipe, it was still stick and not something I would say was with on the standards of keeping in line with COVID standards of disinfecting between guests! The food was nonexistent and when anything was available, it was disgraceful, looked like slop! Grey mess! The staff were rude! We asked for knives and forks, (not a big ask) and the we’re literally thrown at us! The one lady actually was very rude and said, we are very busy! Queuing for 20 minutes each time we wanted a drink!! Was not worth the money. We were a party of 6 people at a cost of £28 each!! That’s a lot of money for the absolutely disgusting service! Never again!!!

Having pre-booked the lounge through DragonPass the Luton lounge system kept saying that my card was not activated even though my card has been used in this lounge and many others for over 2 years and despite my wife’s card being accepted by your system which is on the identical shared bank account at NatWest. It took a ridiculous amount of time to be let in only after I had to call DragonPass who confirmed that my card is indeed active and valid. Extremely poor.

As there was a 3 drink per person limit during our visit to Aspire lounge our complete party was extremely disappointed. We were told that it was necessary to stay within the aviation guidelines because of cover 19 however we since discovered that other lounges did not have the same policy. Also we were not aware of this when booking so now feel that we did not get value for money and would most certainly not have booked had we known. Apparently is was mentioned on the website but it must have been buried somewhere in the small print. As a party of 5 regular travellers abroad we will not be using Aspire lounges in the future

I was very disappointed with the lounge, just about got a seat, under staffed, approx 10 people at a times waiting at the bar to get a drink with 1 member of staff serving, no cold food, as soon as it was put out it was gone, what surprises me is that you know how many people you book in, and are happy to take the money!!! I felt sorry for the staff , will never return.
