Although we arrived at the check in desk between 1100 and 1130 due to the utter incompetence we did not get through till 1630. Flight was due to depart at 1505 but was delayed two hours. We never got to the Lounge. I am therefore unable to review but do wish a refund.

I had a booking on 26/09/2021 at 12:30 - Gatwick North Terminal. I arrived to find that the lounge was closed and had no way to contact anyone. I did not receive any notification from yourselves prior to or after said date - no apology or a refund and no response from you regarding an email sent to you requesting a refund.

Service was extremely poor, had to make the same order multiple times as the staff kept forgetting our order. No food for our children, even the crisps were chilli flavour. Waited over 40 mins for our drinks. Overall very poor and you can only make so many excuses for Covid. Very disappointed .

What a shambles. We had for an evening flight, we booked the lounge 6pm-8pm as on booking the gentleman said the lounge closes at 8pm. .arriving at 5:55pm we was informed by the lady just leaving that the lounge was now closed , it was now closing at 5pm, no lounge, no email or messages prior to arrival and no money back, what a disgrace, emailed the company but 2 weeks later we still have no reply

Dee where unable to use the aspire lounge due to our travel to adu Dhabi did not go ahead yet you still charged us for the privilege of not using the lounge facility We do use this facility every time we travel and always find the staff pleasant and discreet it’s a great place to relax

Although I will concede that we are all currently living in VERY strange times, my recent experience at the Lounge was exceedingly disappointing. We arrived at the lounge very late, due to a huge queue at check in for our flight. The queue was particularly large because the staff were checking in passengers for FOUR different flights, two of which were about to commence boarding. There were only three staff working. The Lounge receptionist was not very polite or helpful, and we finally arrived at a dirty table with only around 45 minutes of 'lounge' time available. Then there were only TWO waitresses, and it was impossible for them to cater to all the lounge patrons. Suffice to say, many people became frustrated, and tried to 'help themselves' to drinks and snacks. We waited patiently for our service, and were rewarded with cold, unappetising food, served with very little care and attention. I can say that our lounge experiences have been very good in the past.

I booked the lounge for the 8th of October 7am.on arrival there were workman carrying repairs ( loud drilling). I requested a cubicle, but the rude attendants said that it was for executives. It was empty at the time and remain until we left. We were made to sit next to two people although there was a table space between us. I refused and moved further two tables which provoked a tut from the same attendant ( the drilling noise continued). The person serving us was not that interested, when I asked why there was limited menu, she just said it was due to Covid-19. If I was informed that this was the case I would have not booked the lounge and opted for a cooked breakfast in the main restaurants. There were 3 men, one looked like the manager who did not were a mask, while the other two wore masks, however when they stopped work for a chat along with the female staff member they all removed their masks.There was not attempt to distance from each other. There was no attempted to see if our meal of poor quality ( scramble powder eggs and cold stale bacon reheated and no hot toast) to see if we were enjoying our breakfast, the attendants were clearly not bothered. I am a frequent user of Lounges and I am totally disgusted by this one in Birmingham. I look forward to comments before I post my comments on tripadvisor. Your Bernard D J Gallyot

This lounge is not worth visiting at all. It is nearly £30 and all you get is a cuppa and a minute breakfast. There is absolutely nothing for you to be able to take on the plane when before there used to be. I will not be using them again and would advise others not to, a very expensive and not worthwhile experience that spoilt the start to our holiday. Be careful not to be caught out as we did.

Absolutely appalling service!!! We were sat waiting for service for 20 minutes, eventually I asked a passing waitress for service and she said she was busy. We walked out and went to the bar, where the service was fantastic I may add. Will not use again. I am a travel writer and I have reviewed the lounge for the publications I am a member of.

Really disappointed with our visit to the Club Aspire Lounge at Gatwick North. Facilities very minimal, very poor choice of food. Bread mouldy and meat inside bread of very poor standard. Did not even have ketchup, we’d have been better off going to Wetherspoons and actually being able to get what we wanted for breakfast. Toilets dirty. Really poor standards and started our holiday off in a disappointing way.
