Staff were rude, food was cold or non existent (soup remnants in bottom of pan). No beer on draught it ran out during first pint and was not changed for another barrel during the duration that we were there. No Pinot white wine. There was plates / glasses everywhere and generally dirty. Roof was leaking in water. A complete waste of money to be honest. I would not recommend this facility at all. Very disappointed.

FAR TOO BUSY! Nowhere to sit. food areas were so busy the food kept running out. Children running around. Damaged, thread bare furniture. Overall noisy, cramped. I will never come there again. I will use No1.

There was a very poor selection of food, half of which was removed part way through our visit to accommodate ‘Business flyers’ from the Middle East. What was left (a pasta dish) had been left sitting for some time and was very stodgy! The female member of staff seemed very uninterested in being helpful, and I had to walk round looking for her a number of times to get service at the bar. Further she referred to the ‘business flyers’ on numerous occasions and clearly inferred they we more important than us and had priority. The female staff member (mature lady) made us feel really uncomfortable and as if we were a nuisance - her business flyers got the attention. I have used a number of business lounges around the world and yours ranked very low. I paid £100 for 4 of us, which I now regret. I look forward to your feedback.

We had not used this found for years - we have been using No1 - so thought we would try it. I am a nervous flyer and they have booths with TVs which is a nice distraction to take mind of it. There are notes on the booths saying you may be asked to move from the booths if it is busy and you are less that a part of 4. I do not agree with this policy as there is no TV booths for smaller parties available - but we were put on notice by the note. It was very quiet. However an older lady came up and said very roughly we could not sit there as they were expecting big parties later. We said we would move then. We complained and were told sorry. The lounge never got remotely busy in the 3 hours we were in there. That was not a good first impression. There was a choice of hot pasta, cheese, crisps.....and food wise that was about it. My partner was looking for something sweet and all there was left over biscuits in a big "Christmas" style selection box. Very poor. There is a full bar. The facility is clean. There are no toilets but they are close by. I will not use this again.

It was terrible. I would definitely not recommend this to anyone. No one to greet us at the ‘check in’ desk. The food was disgusting. There wasn’t enough and what was left was cold and inedible. We had to go outside for something edible. The service awful. We had to ask for the tables to be cleared as they were full of plates and glasses. I had to go to the kitchen to ask for this and there were staff just chatting and not working whilst we had nowhere to sit. Tables were reserved that were never used. No white wine in the fridge and even when we asked it was restocked. It was a complete waste of money and there was 6 of us, all in agreement we would never do this again.

Dirty glasses. Very little food. What was there was unappetising and cold. Queue for drinks. Drinks felt stingy. Struggled to access a plug for my phone. Very poor. £27 each! I've stayed at the other lounges. Much better quality. I will never ever again entertain aspire!

This was more like a canteen than an executive lounge. Uncomfortable seating, average food and poor drinks choice, not worth the money.

Dreadful experience. Awful food. Awful atmosphere. Poor selection of drinks. Would absolutely not recommend this lounge. But on the positive side really nice staff.

I intended emailing you anyway. This place has went so far downhill compared with previous visits. All the economy measures were obvious. However i did not realise the CO2 shortage extended to the soft drinks machine in your lounge. The staff insisted it was full but admitted the drinks had none. No soft drinks in tins, No fresh biscuits in two packs. Milk warm. I noted the lounge was much quieter than previous visits but having noticed all the cost cutting it is no surprise. As a regular user i have no intention of returning as £52 could be better spent in any of the places just outside.

Dreadful. Millions spent on a refurb to only cut costs on the food and quality of service. I would sing the praises of the old lounge to anyone who would listen, it used to be wonderful - this time around not so much. The food was bland. No sandwiches (which was the norm previously for a lunchtime) only a few rock hard bread rolls and cubes of cheese. A veggie curry and pasta mixed with what looked like wallpaper paste were the offerings with “soup on request” bizarrely being offered as an extra. The service was woeful - like really really bad. So much so I would go so far as to recommend that the lady working behind the bar at the time of our visit (weds 11th July afternoon) gets another job as she was downright rude to everyone she encountered. Seriously she should not be in a customer facing role. Previously customers were able to take a bag of crisps if they wanted some. This time I had to ask the happy server behind the bar who directed me to another girl who was putting out more stale rolls who did no more than go behind the bar and retrieve said bag of crisps from beside the happy server and pass them to me. Totally and utterly pathetic belittling behaviour. I strongly suggest you revert back to your previous level of standards as these are unacceptable and I will be leaving this review on trip advisor aswell as telling anyone I can not to bother using the lounge at Liverpool. I do not appreciate paying quite a sum of money (£50) to be treated like I am a delinquent school child incapable of ordering more than one packet of crisps at a time. You need to address this, fast.

Good day, I am really very disgusted that I could use the lounge as I could move back to the terminal because of visa restrictions. When I asked if I could use the lounge later the custom official said I could just use the elevator to get to the Aspire lounge. When I got there entry where refused. Please refund my payment Regards

Dear Berlina, I am really sorry but the airport does not allow passengers to cross terminals and visa restrictions. We always make sure our guests book the correct terminal lounge for their visit , that is why we ask for flight details. Guests with a long layover will always check with us if they can use the lounge during this time and we always advise to check visa restrictions first before booking. Many Thanks The Aspire Team

For the cost you would expect they wouldn’t run out of certain drinks. Also they could do with a speedy tidy up once people leave tables and give the place a hoover up. Not worth the money!

The woman serving behind the bar was very rude, arrogant and argued with a lot of the customers. Lots of people dissatisfied and voicing there disgust at her attitude. There were 5 adults in our party but she would only let you have 1 drink at a time so everyone had to stand in a long queue to get there own drinks. I asked to speak to the manager who was also rude, gave no eye contact whatsoever and then served the person behind me while I was talking to him. The food was poor and not replenished. Very little crockery available. We always use airport lounges when we travel 4-5 times a year but this was by far the worst, not what you want at the start of your holiday!!

They out of ice at 4.30pm. They ran out of clean plates and cutlery. The lounge was very cold. They ran out of soup at 4.30pm. No replenished food choice. The same curry sat on hot plate for 2 hours. No salads replenished until we were leaving. No crisps or nuts after 5pm. Pasta was very bland. Tables were not cleaned or cleared and the coffee machine ran out of milk. The manager telling customers the amount of crisps and nuts that customers had eaten that day and telling us that “this place will probably end up closing” All in all a very disappointing start to our holiday and a total contrast to last years visit to the same lounge.
