Absolutely shocking. The area resembled a disused balcony converted into an area where some seats were crammed in. There was no where to sit. The food and drink options were not even available except for a poor coffee machine alternative. Absolute rip off

What went wrong..... Everything!! I received no servicefrom yourself from getting off the plane to getting into the taxi outside of the airport. Nobody to to us through customs nothing. I approached your team members at the bottom of the ramp at your desk as we queued to go through customs again no help they just shrugged and carried on talking to one another. All in all a complete waste of my hard earned money. I gave you one star rating as their was no option for zero stars.

Absolute chaos on food and drinks availability. No plates, no knives, no spoons no wine glasses, no white wine, no red wine and many other food items had run out. This was around midday on Tuesday 19th June. We had to ask the staff for most utensils, we asked for white wine and red wine which one of the staff eventually fetched from the kitchen. We then had to ask for wine glasses - none were available and one of the staff brought out some tumblers which we had to use for the wine. Staff said that they were still in the dishwasher. The whole experience was abysmal and very disappointing as on previous visits to this particular lounge at Birmingham Airport we have been well satisfied with the standard of service. I do believe that this experience should be looked into by your management and appropriate steps taken to avoid any similar instances. I realise that lunchtimes are busy periods but with a controlled occupancy the system should cope with this.

Appalling, turned up to find no food available, asked when it would be available to be told we'll cook some now. Told supervisor I'd be complaining and she said I'd be doing them a favour! Thought Luton was bad but this was worse, I will be asking for a refund.

We had a very poor experience on our visit to the lounge at BHX. The lounge was messy and crowded. The food was average and there were no wine glasses and very little choice of any others, the staff’s response was “All the glasses are in the dishwasher”. We were looking forward to starting our holiday in a relaxed manner, but we left after 10 minutes to find somewhere else to have lunch. Very disappointed!

Although we had pre paid we could not find the entrance to the lounge. When seeking assistance we were told we needed to enter through the domestic gates and we had just arrivef from Australia via international gates. We were told via a phone call to email for a refund as they could not help us. We have heard nothing and despite emailing a week ago have not received a refund

Visited Aspire Lounge last Saturday prior to departing for Faro! It was a Father’s Day present from our children! When we entered there were no staff to be found! When we did find a staff member she couldn’t locate our booking but managed to find it eventually! She then basically told us to help ourselves to the food and if we required alcohol that we needed to order it from a staff member! The hot food on offer was macaroni cheese or BBQ pulled pork with rice! Both of which were stuck to the display container as they were very dry! I felt that the two staff members did not make any effort to engage with the customers! There was another couple and a family using the facility for the duration of our stay! It was difficult to get a staff members attention as they were either in the kitchen or engrossed with the computer! A gentleman in a wheelchair entered the lounge to have a look at this new facility and he was ushered out as he was told it was for “members only”!! I work in retail myself and I was shocked at the lack of enthusiasm shown by your staff members- they are clearly not happy in their jobs! That’s how it appeared!! I My work colleagues asked me to let them know about my experience as many of them will be going on holidays over the coming months and using Cork Airport! I did not give a favourable report! I was bitterly disappointed! For a new facility I was expecting an inviting atmosphere, enthused staff and a better selection of food! The atmosphere in the Lounge was as deflated as the balloons on display in the reception area!! I am glad that I can say that I have visited the Lounge but unfortunately it was not an enjoyable experience!! Needless to say I won’t be making another visit!

No food left when we arrived. We were told the food was now finished. After complaining someone came to us with a ham sandwich and a packet of crisps. Without asking if we are ham. Disgusting.

There was nowhere to sit when i first arrived. I sat an waited in reception area for a while. I then observed one of the reception ladies refuse entry to 2 American guys, when they questioned this she was very rude & blunt, they were told to come back in 2 hours time and would only spend an hour in lounge. She then allowed other people in. I finally got a seat. Staff were rude when i asked if tea & coffee machine could be refilled. Food was low or empty, not replenished. I would never attend the lounge again and would prefer to spend my time and money around the various airport cafe's.

Poor quality. Very low stock. Had to go to cheaper lounge next door for mixer, curry, ham. In fact everything came from next door. Staff kept disappearing.

Horrible woman at the bar served other people before me quite pointedly eventually had to ask another member of staff where I could self serve water 15 minutes in. Food selection poor to dreadful plates smaller than saucers and with 20 minutes before boarding to eat and drink just not good enough. There were around 10 people in lounge so not as if she was busy, just nasty. Consoled self with the thought that not pointing me to the water is the most power that woman will ever achieve in life. Waste of money. Never again.
