Poor choice of food. Very little to chose from in terms of hot breakfast. Not impressed and will not be booking again

What went right, the staff were sitting in a side cupboard when we arrived all chatting not bothering to rush over , the lounge smelled and the food choice awful and microwave bacon, come on how you can advertise this as VIP I really don't know, manager and staff rude. When I stated there was no seats , she said sit with someone else, there was a whole are marked off , reserved for a certain airline, no one came to use it but still we were left sharing a stool

Standard continues to slide downmarket. Didn't use any Lounge at the other end found a café airside at Fuerteventura Terminal, which provided comfortable armchairs and vegetarian and even vegan food for about a quarter of the price of the so-called Executive Lounge. The quality used to be well up to Business Class standard, so you got what you paid for. Not any more.

Too many people booked into the lounge when an area of the lounge had already been reserved for a specific airline , not ours , so we were first told where we couldn't sit . The supposedly 'hot food ' wasn't even warm and the bread rolls were very dry . WE WILL NOT BE USING THIS FACILITY AGAIN .

We booked in to the Aspire plus lounge Saturday morning. We were traveling due to a bereavement so thought a little bit of extra TLC was needed. We would have been better off in the ordinary lounge. Service was slow, as there was only one member of staff on. Coffee machine was broken so we couldn't even help ourselves to a cup of coffee. All other drinks were behind counter, which added to the problem of people waiting to be served. Vegetarian sausages were written on the menu, but none were to be had, (run out by 6.30 am ????) the plus side was that I was served a nice omelette, but it wasn't exactly what I had wanted. Myself and other guests started wandering through to the other lounge as it was quicker to get coffee there. We also found a nice selection of pastries and croissants in the ordinary lounge. Nothing like that at all in the supposedly more upmarket lounge. Other guests started getting angry at the poor service, and this just created a tense atmosphere. We were told that more staff came on duty at 10am, but that did not help any of us. The young woman serving us was very pleasant, and I don't have an issue with her. This is a management issue, as the place was badly organised and run for this time in the morning. We have all paid the same price as people arriving later in the day, and as such should expect the same level of service. On our return journey we were booked in to the lounge at Southampton which was a fraction of the price and a much better experience. Here you could help yourself to teas, coffee and even alcohol. The snacks were delicious and all sourced from local businesses so the quality was better, and all presented well. All in all, we should have asked for our money back.

Difficult to get a table. Food was terrible. Hot food was cold. And awful service. Over priced for what you get. Will never use this lounge again.

First time at this lounge. Usually book a different one but understood that Aspire served a hot breakfast so decided to book. Plates were small and inappropriate size and cold. Scrambled egg was inedible. No small individual water bottles. Could go on.....Seating in places could do with renewing. I don't usually write negative reviews but very disappointed as the quality for a VIP lounge was poor.

I arrived at the lounge with two friends. They showed their ‘aspire’ membership at reception, and were promptly denied access. They explained they had booked and were again denied access and told that the lounge was ‘not accepting cards’ that morning. My friends once again explained that their card was an aspire membership and that they had booked. We were eventually allowed access to a overfull lounge, no chairs, had to stand by the breakfast buffet where several people were waiting for hot good that had run out. We left. Appalling.

There was 4 people in my group and we had to go individually to the bar to be served by a member of staff, who was not always present and we had to wait. Liverpool Airport has got to be the worst VIP lounge in Europe.

Genuinely the worst executive lounge I have been to. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I arrived within the three hour timeframe I had been given with my passport, boarding pass and a printed ticket for the lounge. The very friendly receptionist couldn't find me on the system and cited the fact that the UK time wasn't the same as Dutch time, meaning that they would have to add me manually. This took north of five minutes. The lounge was pleasantly busy, with a buzz about the place. Frustratingly, there is absolutely no USB charging provision. As this was a layover for my onward visit to Canada, I had no European adapter. Unfortunately, nor did the lounge. The food is appalling. I had a pastry, some soup/bread and a small biscuit, which was pretty much all that was available at the time I arrived. The pastry was clearly past its best. The soft drink machine was down and provided only fizzy soda water. I was assured that it would be sorted. An hour later, it wasn't. I subsequently asked for the empty gin bottle to be replaced. Needless to say it wasn't. I was exceptionally disappointed that I wasted money on this service when I could have enjoyed food in one of Schiphol Airport's many eateries. A total waste of money. Never again!

The lounge and facilities were excellent, the staff were very good. There was a group of male and female customers who were drunken foul mouthed slobs who didn't care about offending the other customers, and they were ignored. I wanted to challenge them but my wife got stressed out that I might get in to a fight or arrested before our holiday so the experience was ruined.

Everything. On arrival half the lounge was unavailable due to it being reserved for Singapore airlines, therefore the gentleman on reception told us that we would have to find a table to share, which was pretty difficult. Not a good start. For breakfast the only warm offering is bacon and beans, together with baps and croissants, hardly what I would consider a "menu that is centred around you, our guests". If you were expecting anything like a proper breakfast forget it. The coffee machine was faulty and did not give out proper drinks, it was only fixed just before we left. Having paid £37.98 for 2 people I think that we were completely robbed. I could spend that much in the main terminal and easily get a proper breakfast for 2. The other things such as wi-fi and papers don't really swing it. You really must be making a fortune running these lounges, but never from me again.

The staff are your saving grace, as the space, layout, and numbers just don’t work. There is no loo, and it feels dirty, cramped, and rushed, not what anyone would pay £70 per couple for when you could have much more service at F&M...

The lounge opposite was closed so they decided to take the extra passengers. This was a mistake as there were only two staff on we only managed to get one drink which I waited half an hour for when the food came there were no plates to put it on laughable.

I booked months in advance with a timed entry pass and when I arrived the lounge was so crowded that we couldn't find 2 seats together. I told the folks at the front desk that we were unable to find 2 seats together and they told me that the computer systems said there were seats. (there were seats... just not together) - I asked them what they could do for us and they said that we would have to contact the main office for a refund. We left the lounge and went to a restaurant where I contacted the main office right away. The customer service representative called the lounge and came back to us to let us know that he was sorry, but the lounge told him that they had seats together. On the one hand, I was a little bit upset that the service agent came back to me with an argument about my experience rather than a resolution - then I asked him why the team at the lounge hadn't offered to help us find seats? They just told us what the "computer" said and sent us on our way with no resolution. At that point the customer service agent offered to reach the lounge again to ask them that question. When the lounge didn't answer the phone, he said he'd have to take my email and get back to me another time. I told him that was not acceptable because I had already felt that he was arguing rather than solving my problem and asked to speak with a manager. After I asked to speak with a manager, he gave me a refund. It was a disappointing encounter all around.
