very poor service ( apparently 2 staff off sick and 2 staff had left according to one member of staff) this resulted in queues for spirit drinks and very little food out to eat. Supervisor took call in lounge about a customer complaint and mentioned the customers surname which was very unprofessional. Finally if you don't want customers drinking the Spey whiskey then you should not provide it, it was very clear that the staff did not want to serve this ( expense ). I must say that I have used the lounge twice in the space of a week and the first visit was much better with what seemed like a much more friendly and efficient staff.

Upon arrival we were informed that the lounge was full and there were about 20 people sitting in the corridor waiting for seats. We stood for over an hour and when we eventually got seats they were not together. Not a great start to our holiday !!! The staff were all very pleasant but it was evident that they were under immense pressure. I will not be using this service again and my husband will be writing to you in the next few days.

As we were travelling on a busy Saturday, we opted to book the lounge to ensure a little comfort before our flight. This is something we have done often with other lounges in Manchester Airport and we expected the same high standards. Now appreciating that it would be busy, we didn't expect to be waiting for a seat and then have to join another couple. The decor and furnishings were dirty, dated and uncomfortable. My Husband is 6ft 4" and he was squashed in a corner, unable to stretch out in comfort. It was difficult to get served quickly at the bar with the sheer volumes of people as the lounge had clearly been overbooked. There was a very poor selection of cheap food items available which were difficult to access as there were so many people hovering and waiting for seats. The whole experience was less than relaxing and in the end we opted to find a quite spot in the main terminal building to have a drink and a bite to eat and in hindsight, I wish we had opted to do this in the first place to save the stressful start to our holiday! For our future travels, we will be returning to the Lounges we have used in the past and will avoid Swissport lounges.

Dry mini rolls with a couple pieces of bacon and a few nibbles very poor value indeed ,I was very disappointed and was hoping for better.may be ok if one likes alcohol but I think getting enough to warrant the cost may prove difficult.@

I find it astonishing that the lounge at Heathrow Terminal 5 is so poor. Having travelled all over the world, I never fail to be applauded by the lack of services at Heathrow and was a reason I stopped travelling through Heathrow where possible. I was thrilled that they have finally built a lounge, but was extremely shocked to know that the services were so limited i.e. no toilets and extra payment for a shower. I entered the lounge for about 5 mins, there was no-where to sit and I had to pay extra for a shower. I utilise lounges for the comfort of them and to utilise services such as toilets/showers after a long haul flight, not the free drinks etc (I appreciate that I might be in the minority here, but I don't think I am). It was an utter waste of £35 and I will not be utilising the service again unless it drastically improves and I will yet again be avoiding Heathrow at all costs!

It's was a very very poor visit. Getting to the lounge and to be told it was full and to call back in an hour or to make a claim to have a refund , this wasn't the ideal start to holiday for me and my family. I then called back an hour later to be told we can come in if we can find a seat. So I am giving a score of very poor

Lounge is dark and dreary with no natural light - it is not a relaxing place to stay. On the day I visited there was no food available other than soup, crisps and pre-packaged crackers; sandwiches were promised but after 3 hours they still had not arrived. I would not recommend using the executive lounge.

The lounge was difficult to find and when we did find it, we were very disappointed. It's small with insufficient tables and chairs to cope with demand and there are no toilet facilities in the lounge (you have to use the toilets in the departure hall and re-enter the lounge each time). The food selection was poor and at times, there was no food at all on the counter. I booked the lounge as a treat for my sister-in-law who was taking her first international flight (she's only flown once previously) - it was a complete let down and we were all very disappointed having paid £35 each.

I was really disappointed with your new Aspire Lounge. I am not usually one to moan but really - no bathroom facilities !!! At least (a far as I can remember) your #3 lounge had a shower where you could freshen up in as well as loos. The food in the new lounge is NOTHING compared to #3 lounge. Cannot understand why your charges are so much more than what the charge is for #3 ... Yes, I was told by your customer services that you offer Spa facilities but that is not acceptable if you cannot even offer a loo unless payment is made for a session in your Spa ... I will NOT be coming back.

We had pre booked tickets, the room was full to over capacity. Families were seperated! The experience was horrible. It was not the fault of the staff it was managers above who knew they were over capacity! I will ensure my friends and family are aware of the negative experience we had. As for VIP this was the total opposite. An extremely unpleasant experience.

We won't bother again after pre booking and paying £60 for two people we turned up at the time stated in our booking form to be told we are full and there is a queue you will have to wait(due to health and safety) On turning up to be told we are full my husband asked for a refund to be told there is none and to wait. So we had paid for 3 hours and got approx. 1 & 1/2 hrs. And to cap it all the food was cold. You are better spending your money in the airports various outlets and find a comfy seat until your flight arrives

I was denied entry to the lounge, even though I had a reservation, because I was flying with KLM and not their sponsored airlines. So, I lost out of the admission fee. Luckily, I was able to take my business elsewhere. Really consider who you fly with before you reserve here.

The room was very hot and lighting was poor. The room is really noisy now that you have removed the carpet and all soft furnishings! I won't be booking one at Luton again...

I use the aspire lounge in Edinburgh on a regular basis and it is very good. However I was extremely disappointed with Gatwick. No hot snacks and minimal choice was shocking. I would not use it again.

Rude staff, poor choice of food. Being asked to move seats because seats are reserved! I paid to be in lounge last thing I do expect is to move. Will never use again.

Difficult to find = usually use BA business lounge. Dismal surroundings and so depressing we went and used the ordinary lounge and seating in the airport. An absolute waste of money. Also one goes to these lounges for some peace not to be invading by loud music and television. I certainly will not be recommending this sevice to any of my friends and family.

Very cramped with dated furniture. Poor food, only soup and picks (nuts etc). Needs fresh sandwiches available. Far too busy.....on way to gents I actually heard the reception team member advising customers that they may want to go a walk around and come back later as its very busy in there ! A long way short of our expectations and way below the experience we enjoyed in the Aspire lounge recently at T1 Thank you
