No seats, no food, loud people, swearing, waste of money, better outside lounge now, to many free be's given to groups of people we try to avoid.

I complained to the staff at the executive lounge as I was departing as it was over crowded, the lounge was extremely untidy and there was only nuts, pretzels and cheese and crackers and they were limited, I would NOT book this Lounge again as I paid good money to enjoy this experience and it was extremely poor to say the least

This is possibly the worst service I have ever come across. When we arrived there was no food of any type except for a couple of spoonfulls of soup. The lounge was a disgusting mess. Dirty tables and to be honest the floor around the tables was disgraceful. When I approached the 'gentleman' at the counter to ask about sandwiches etc. he said that we have been extremely busy and food had had to be 'borrowed' from somewhere else but no sandwiches where available only cheese and crackers. I asked if anything was going to be done further to this but I received a very taught answer along the lines of 'there is nothing I can do'. At this point I asked to see the manager and received another unhelpful answer that no manager was available. At this point I called your so called customer service line only to be connected to an answer machine. I have left a message which I intend following up. Overall this was disgraceful service with the most unhelpful staff I have ever come across. This needs a new 'manager' and some 'helpful staff'. If I could rate this lower than your VERY POOR I certainly would.

Lounge was dirty, toilets smelly and dirty, staff uninterested. I had to take my dirty dishes to the trolley while staff talked to each other.

It was a treat to use the lounge but it was extremely disappointing. Only tepid soup, no sandwiches, a bowl of mixed fruit ( raisins etc), we were hungry and only had crackers and cheese. There wasn't even diet lemonade, only 2 choices of beers. On booking this lounge we were of the understanding that it was self serve with a choice of drinks, not a good experience and spent money on food elsewhere. The lounge isn't a patch on the Escape Lounge, all 4 of us were very very upset with the lack of food and drinks available. I would never recommend this lounge to anyone and will be writing a formal complaint. Was also told we had 3 hours, and we got 2 hours 15 mins, if the lounge shuts at 7.30pm why wasn't we allowed in at 4.30pm instead of 4.55pm and literally kicked out at 7.15pm. Absolutely terrible and not a pleasant start to our holiday, a special treat gone terribly wrong.

Not worth it. Said hot food and all you got was mushroom soup from a can. Snacks where crisps and crackers. It was freezing in there and no atmosphere Would not do again

Not what is advertised on the web site. Food selection is very poor and not replenished. Seating is limited, toilet are outside of lounge, cleaning is not adhered to. Not what you would expect after paying £35.00 each. Would not recommend this lounge experience

First time we used this service as a family of 4 two adults and 2 young people age 12+. Not impressed at all, we got into the lounge at 10.35, no one came to welcome us as they were busy changing over from breakfast to lunch. When we where finally greeted by one of your staff we were told it was change over time. When we asked what was available there was two bacon rolls left, which someone who was already there took, then left them and said they were too hard and cold to eat. They where slow bringing the snacks out, it was not crisp and nuts that we needed at 10.35. Our two younger members of our group decided to go to Subway for something to eat. We were expecting the breakfast to still be on until 11am, complete waste of money (paid £79.96). We will never book this again or recommended this to our friends and family. It caused more stress, when I complained and we were told to have a few wines get drunk and chill out on the start of your holiday! Not everyone drinks alcohol. What such professional customer service you train your staff in.

The lounge was very busy - little room for manoeuvre given the number of chairs. The food - although advertised in advance - was not of a great standard and I cannot help but think that the staff were overrun with too much to do. In comparison to the Escape Lounge - we would not revisit the Swissport lounge again by choice. I would suggest the price is reduced by Swissport as the products are not at all comparable to tempt us back.

The only food available was Crisps and nuts. We have paid the same for other executive Lounges and received a selection of hot food. Cheaper to buy crisps elsewhere.

Appalling experience. Second time using lounge and both times were dreadful. Will never waste the money again. Shortage of food, unhelpful and surly staff. Massively overpriced unless you want to drink copious amounts of alcohol at 6 in the morning.

Knew we had very little time in lounge but expected to be treated like anyone else. Managed to get 2 warm beers & a very limited choice of nibbles as your staff only seemed to be interested in clearing away so they could get home. If this is normal policy I certainly wont be spending £36:00 for 2 beers and feeling that we were in the staffs way.

Very disappointing experience, the food was awful. Was led to believe there would be a buffet but nothing of the sort. A tray of small bread buns that you would use for soup was offered. The buns seemed to have sandwich filler put in, very poor. They were snapped immediately by the people who were there. Only 2 trays were offered in the three hours we were there. We ended going back up to the main area of the airport for a decent sandwich. Would definitely not use or recommend again, bit of a con really. We were really looking forward to it as well but were let down. Unless you're an alcoholic you wouldn't get your monies worth. It wasn't even bust either when we were there. Exceutive lounge it most certainly isn't.

Very limited food availability (rarely topped up through our whole stay so we barely ate anything); drinks measures limited and below accepted uk standards e.g, no beer on tap (barrel was gone and staff didn't know how to change it!), very few staff and when you could find someone they were mostly rude and dismissive. Just to top it all off, it's all priced at a very high premium. Nothing like other Aspire lounges - I would avoid at all costs.

My recent experience of the lounge was not a good one. i arrived on a friday to fly to hong kong and arrived approx. 7.30pm for a 9.30pm flight opening hours stated til 10pm. however, there was no food whatsoever left as they had 'had a busy day' and also after having one drink, i went for another around 8.15 to be told its closed and the lounge will be closing at 8.30pm and there had only been two members of staff on all day dealing with a busy day. i didnt find it acceptable so wont be returning or recommending the lounge.

Total waste of money. There was certain critaria for the lounge that didn't appear to be in place so during our visit there was a large wedding group half wasted in tracksuits and vulgar tshirts making a noise. The bacon rolls were 1 piece of bacon in a petit pain, and the Danish pastries were miniature style. We'd ordered 2 special cocktails on our booking but the bar staff were oblivious of this. When we asked about them, expecting a barman to make them specially, we were offered 3 different cocktail types pre mixed in bottles, none of which were what we had ordered and we're also disgusting. The staff were not very friendly and gave us the impression that we were bothering them when ordering anything. I also noticed that if you were wearing a suit you were given a can of Coca Cola as a mixer, if no suit you were told the Pepsi is in the fridge around the corner and to pour it yourself. The wifi was none existent, I've had better reception in the middle of the lake district and the flights screens were either end of the lounge rather than being conveniently placed. Utter waste of time and money. We spent nearly £60 for just over an hour, we could have carried on past the lounges to the main area with the shops and restaurants and saved money and had a better experience.

We were really disappointed with this lounge for the cost of it. There was hardly any space and a very limited choice of food (as in hardly anything at all!).

I am sorry that I haven't had time to complete this yet but now I have I hop that you will respond - if not I will contact you under separate cover. I have used the lounges at Manchester for probably 8 or 9 years as has my daughter who now lives and works in Singapore so travels to the Uk several times a year. ON the day in question- Saturday July 4th I was booked into the lounge from 11.a.m and on arrival it was extremely busy - which in itself was not a problem as I was travelling alone so joined a couple at a table where there was a spare chair. However with in the hour the lounge was bursting at the seams, and tempers were becoming extremely frayed., at 12.15 I went to exit the lounge to visit the restrooms and couldn't get through the doors due to 12-15 people being camped at the door who were all booked into the Lounge but being denied entrance as the lounge was full. The girls were requesting that people went for a walk around and returned in 15-20 minutes - which they were obviously not prepared to do as they may then be behind further people trying to gain entry, this whole episode led to a very unsavory atnmosphere. and the girls were then resorting to visiting tables in the lounge and requesting that people who were on flights due to depart please leave the lounge. AS you are only allowed 3 hours prior to your flight and there were no delayed flights everyone in the lounge was within their allotted and paid for time frame . The whole point of the lounge is to relax and begin your holiday in the right frame of mind - had I wanted constant intervention and haranguing I would not have paid for the lounge but sat on the plastic seats in the main departure area surrounded by screaming children. Can I add that this is in no way a reflection on the staff who were doing their best in very difficult circumstances , rearranging chairs to try and sit people together - but the cold facts are that the lounge was overbooked by some 15-20 people - who is responsible for this ? it is simple mathematics- you only book the seats that you have available . AT the start of some 18 hours travelling this was not how I wanted to begin my visit to my daughter, and this is not the first time we have had cause to complain- my daughter returned to the UK for a friends wedding last year and was travelling back at the same time, & terminal as the newly weds and as a wedding present organized the lounge for the start of their honeymoon complete with Champagne - all pre paid - it took her over an hour and 4 requests to eventually get the champagne which then left them little time to enjoy it, you did recompense her for the inconvenience, but it rather begs the question - are you over committing on a regular basis I await your comments with interest. They was no choice of food they only had sandwiches with fillings on that no one liked. We ended up having to go out to get food because everyone was starving , which was then extra on top of the cost of 6 people in total. Then when we asked the lady at the reception if that was all they had she was not very polite and wasn't very helpful , there was no one on the bar and we waited for a drink for at least 10 -15 minutes . I can safely say that I will be complaining and I shall not recommend anyone to go there because it is a complete waste of money.
