Having used the VIP Lounge in Terminal 2, I found Terminal 1 not to have as much choice of drinks available, food running out quickly and the tables not as clean, they were sticky. I doubt I will use in Terminal 1 again.

Overcrowded, very few tables to sit and eat comfortably at. The two of us could sit and eat comfortably in a nice restaurant for less than the cost of the Lounge. Got the impression that it had been squeezed into available space with a few lounge chairs, a few eating tables and a few workstations and it didn't quite succeed with any if them when it's busy, shame about that. At the time of our visit it was strong morning sunshine which was great but there appear to be no blinds and the suns glare was inescapable

I thought the carpet and other areas were not clean in fact carpet was filthy and didn't look as though it had been hovered for a week . not a lot of choice food soup only and snacks 1 choice of crisps hand cooked only. ok if you like nuts .when we went to the bar asked for 3 vodkas and a Bacardi there was a little bit vodka in the bottom of the bottle she shared between the 3 glasses not even a measure each I asked if she could open another bottle and put a little more in she didn't seem to be very obliging we only spent a short time in the lounge 25 mins to be exact reception young girl pleasant and obliging as was older woman on the floor when went for our second drink no one on the bar and we left this lounge is not even close to the service and quality of choice we receive in Edinburgh

Both my husband and I were disappointed with the Aspire Lounge. The bar service was poor as most of the time the bar staff was missing, & then when she was present we were left to feel like we were an inconvenience. Customer service skills were sadly lacking on the day that we visited the lounge. Also the food supply was virtually none existent - there was definitely a lack of management on the day, and organisation seemed to be sadly lacking. Considering that the cost of the lounge is double the price that we normally pay for airport lounges, I'm afraid to say that I will not be recommending this lounge to any of our friends.

The only food available was soup or croissants or crisps. Eventually small filled baguettes were on offer Very disappointing.

It seemed like it was opening day there. Your staff was overwhelmed. The check in process took forever and there was a long wait because the girl at the desk had no idea what to do. The place was messy since no one could keep up with bussing the dirty tables. We left early because it was simply not relaxing. One standout was the barman / busser / waiter I think was named "Raffy." He was very nice and tried his best to keep up but you really need to hire several more people and make sure they are trained before putting them into a hectic place like Terminal 5.

The lounge was too crowded, so we had to stand and wait several minutes for a seat. There should be a better managed booking system with a limit on the number of guests. Also there are no toilets within the lounge. If you need them during your stay - which might be three hours - you have to leave the lounge. Overall, not worth the £35 per person.

Unfortunately, the lounge was full to capacity. Lounge should have been bigger to accommodate the size of potential travellers. Non-lounge users benefit from more extra free private space outside relative to lounge users. Secondly, the windows do not have shade protection against sun rays so some of the available seats are not usable in good weather. However, on a plus note, the employee working at the front desk was friendly and courteous.

I gave this a poor review instead of normal because it didn't work for our needs. When I checked into this we saw that there were family rooms which was the sell for us because we had our 16 month old with us. When we arrived no such thing was provided. The food options were small and mediocre. The drinks were okay, soda machine didn't work. The chairs were comfortable and the staff was friendly and attentive. If you are big drinker this is the place for you, you could easily drink 20 euro worth of alcohol. All in all we wouldn't do it again but those without kids or at least older kids might be worth the quiet.

We had an early morning flight so was in the lounge for 04.30 am -we are both vegetarian and no vegetarian alternative was available - plenty of bacon roll for the meat eaters- asked if we could have some plain rolls - the answer was no. Some plain rolls or bread, marmalade, cheeses would make a diference - not everyone wants to eat bacon rolls or danish pastries or sweet things . We have flown at different times in the day and the later you fly, the more varied the food on offer is - we wont use the lounge again for early morning flights - it's a waste of £34

We booked on line 5 week prior to arriving in Heathrow. When we arrive as we had book we were let in but there were no seats. We had to stand around waiting for someone to leave. Food was poor. This cost £35 per person and we have stayed in much nicer lounges in other airports for less money. I will not book again.

I have used many other lounges in the past and in comparison yours fell quite short of my expectations. the main reasons for this are: 1. It was extremely cramped especially at the back to wards the rest pods and was busy. 2. The choice of food was limited 3. the refreshing of food was slow 4. It was too crowded fro comfort during my short time there 5. There were no toilet facilities for guests even though the public toilets were a short distance awy it was inconvenient 6. It was along walk from the entrance of the terminal 7. I could not find any news papers or magazines 8. There was no one tending the bar for long periods The tables and chairs were in closer proximity to most other lounges 9. The chairs and table facilities fro eating were not as comfortable as most other lounges. 10. The self service food bar seemed to be in the most award place with people queuing and difficulty moving through with food and coffee. I am sorry this is quite negative but I would not consider using your lounge again preferring to use the facilities outside as I could not see any major benefit that I do when using other lounges in Heathrow and Gatwick as well as lounges in other countries. Most lounges in the UK fall short of the standard I enjoy in other countries. I hope this helps. Regards, Frank

Rather poor, staff unfriendly upon arrival and made us wait at the desk as they didn’t have details of our booking. Lounge was dirty, food on the floor and dirty glasses and plates left on the tables for long periods of time. Also the lounge details said that it was open until 19.00 although the bar shut at 18.30 which wasn’t detailed anywhere and meant that we only had 2.5 hours service opposed to the 3 hours we expected.

The lady serving drinks was lovely, however some of the staff need training in customer service. The food offered was very poor and low standard compared to other airport lounges we have used in the past.

Dirty, floor your feet stuck to it. Bacon in rolls that are put in oven should be fresh batches or bread!, Didn't feel comfortable as tables eating, off sticky and I had paid for a friends birthday treat shouldn't of bothered and waited and took her for a nice meal elsewhere. Carpet was dirty and it was very poor overall. Never even came back to me when I got in touch to complain, so wont be getting anymore business from me in the future go to a restaurant in airport and enjoy a nice meal.

Very disappointed with this lounge. Food drying up and not covered under lights. Hard to access counter and layout of food very disorganised. Too many seats and tables crammed in together making area noisy a nd not a peaceful place to relax. The location of the lounge is completely surrounded by glass so when sun is shining it was too hot and blinding depending on where you sat. Lounge so busy when we arrived we struggled to get a seat. Finally I have never been to an executive lounge where there have not been any toilet facilities and you have to go out into the main terminal! Also charging £20 extra for a shower is an absolute joke. I would not recommend this lounge to anyone and on my visit through Heathrow T5 next week I will be sitting in the main terminal.
