We arrived on the 6th October to relax and enyoy a quiet couple of hours before our flight what a laugh a party of people I think eight started drinking and got louder and louder then another party of women arrived to which they started so we moved to another area of the vip lounge but still noise I also thought dress code I will not be booking Cardiff again was not impressed.

Very disappointed, the man who greeted us on reception was fine, but after that we didn't see anyone. The food was ok but we couldn't get a drink at the bar and had to ask at reception to get someone to serve a drink. They then promptly disappeared. The place was cold and dark and felt unwelcoming. I know it was early but airports are 24 hours and we expected staff to be on duty at 6.30am.

No bartender. Little seating for traveling groups of 2 or more. No lounge bathroom.

No promised showers or quiet pods which I specifically asked about and was told yes. Very little sitting space and not the promised menu either. This was poorly disappointing and really no better than just sitting in the terminal waiting. People kept coming in and out and ther was not seating and many had to wait in llines for someon to vacate their seats so they could come in. Just really unpleasant all round

Well when we arrived at Bristol airport the Aspire lounge had no record of our booking and the reference number was invalid.

It was overcrowded and we had to wait for a seat then we found the food was very poor with little choice. It was not the relaxing start to are flight that we had hoped for or expected for the money we paid

The support team were inadequate. I did not receive a confirmation e-mail and submitted a case: 1. The team failed to respond to ordinary e-mails, telephone calls, or online requests for more than 48 hours. Do they actually operate on weekends? 2. They confused my case with a previous (technical) case I had submitted. 3. When theydid finally respond (thank you), it was 40 minutes after we left for the airport! 4. I never did receive the confirmation. 5. When I tried to assess the performance after I got back online following the holiday, the possibility of assessment had been closed with the call. The lounge experience itself left something to be desired. They clearly do not have enough staff: one receptionist is clearly not enough when "booking in" takes such a long time; and various components of the food offer (which does little to cater for the health conscious) were not promptly replaced.

There were no seats available when we arrived and the ones that were, were reserved, so we ended up having to stand. The food, when replenished, was adequate at best and we had to queue to get a drink as three was never anyone to serve!? All in all quite a stressful experience when it really shouldnt have been. Bristol Airport Aspire Lounge has it sorted, please visit them to see how a lounge should be run.

cramped sitting area...poor food quality and limited choice..no toilets..waiting staff were leaning over people while still eating and seem to lack waiting etiquette or skill training.

Absolutely appalling, for £19pp we expected more than cold & stale bacon sandwiches, unfriendly staff, very dated decor, tatty furniture and basically a very poor experience, we left after 15 minutes and relocated to the nearby Escape lounge.

My wife has laready spoken to you and emailed you on our experience in Montreal. Having checked in to the lounge it was immediately apparent that this service had been oversold. There were no seats available and we returned to the check in to ask for assistance. We were advised that there were no more seats and we would have to sit on the floor. We were told this whilst she was checking in more people into the lounge. We asked to see the manager and was advised that no manager was available. When we challenged this we received a surly gallic shrug and was ignored. We returned to the lounge and found a gap where we could sit on the floor. My wife went to get refreshments. She returned with ice cold sandwiches (fish paste) which were too salty to eat. Your hot option was toast?? The buffet was completely inadequate and can only be described as 'cheap'. This in not what we expected before a transatlantic flight. We did not relax. We did not have any food. We left the lounge feeling completely ripped off and conned.

I recently visited swissport lounge at manchester airport terminal 2 on the 1st October at 7am. As the first point of contact for the holiday it was very disappointing, we purchased this to make our first part of our holiday special. The women who greated us on the front desk was VERY rude, we stood for around 10 minutes trying to retrieve our booking email. We observed her during our stay in the lounge treating other older customers differently, not asking them to show their email only asking for their name to check them off the list whereas they asked us to pull up an email. When asking her some other simple such as where the toilets were we were spoken to very rudely once again. This made our holiday off to a very bad start we regret ever booking this lounge I would not book again and would not recommend to others.

No toilets Lack of hot food- dried looking pasta & £6 or £7 for a fish finger sandwich !! It felt like a very squashed environment ! The bar was staffed intermittently When I asked for a biscuit about 20.20 I was told they are only available between 11.00 and 20.00? Surely people like a hot drink on the evening and a biscuit ? I had visited the lounge at Gatwick South the previous week and it was a real pleasure. Good choice of food, hot and cold , light and airy, very spacious, good bar and happy staff! I would be interested in your comments Thank you Kim

Had to look for ages where the lounge was, even downstairs in the restaurant below it none knew where it was. The chap at reception insisted I had a print out which I could not show as had no access to printer when booked. He suggested I e.mail it to him but free WiFi was not working. He refused to let us in despite seeing we paid 50$ for 2 of us, there was no place private to sleep and music was playing. Compared to Oman rest area, this was the absolute pits never ever again....

Toilets were dirty, evidently not cleaned from night before as we were first customers in at 4:30am. Staff were unavailable ( making themselves coffee in kitchen at back ) rolled their eyes when we reported the state of the toilet but did nothing about it. Lounge was cold, with automatic doors continually opening as everyone arriving at airport walked passed, not a relaxing , comfortable or welcoming atmosphere , certainlyNOT VIP experience. Very disappointing, waste of money.

I got an email the night before we were due at the lounge to say that due to circumstances the airport lounge would be closed. When we got to the airport next morning I asked at information desk why it was closed the didn't know it was but we found out it was because someone had taken ill the previous morning! Therefore instead of a relaxing start to our holiday we had to buy breakfast in airport cafeteria. I've paid for lounge and still had to pay approx. £23 for breakfast at cafe in airport. Very disappointed.

We arrived at the airport at 5.20 am after being up all night with no sleep. We were refused admittance to the lounge even though I told the lady it was pre booked. She was not interested in helping at all and was very brusque to the point of rudeness. The lady at the desk could not have cared about the fact that we had problems and that my disabled husband was in need of quiet and rest. We were just told we could not go in. The young man who was pushing the wheelchair tried to persuade her to look for us on the list but she refused. We would not bother to pre book again although we visit Kenya often as we have built a school in Kikambala Mombasa and fly regularily with KA.
