Our experience was extremely disappointing of Manchester Airport Terminal 2 Lounge. There were only 2 staff working despite a sign saying the lounge was 'full'. The choice and quality of food was very poor, we had a glass of wine which was unpalatable, poor quality, no usual nibbles to have with a drink either. We had a bacon roll as it was a morning flight, again, the quality of the product and temperature was poor and extremely disappointing to be honest. There were no pastries other than a small plate of less than appetising filled sweet croissants, which I was certainly not going to try. There have obviously been a few changes since we last visited in July 2015 and favourable changes. To this end we have decided not to frequent any of Manchester airports lounges on our future travels. For £35 approx. We could have had a full English breakfast in one the many eateries on offer within the airport facility and I know the quality and service would have been far superior. In essence, I feel our holiday started on the wrong note and feel very disappointed to say the least. Regards Bridget and Steven Bird

As a group of 6 people we decided to book Aspire Lounge as we had a 6 hour wait following our flight from Denver until our connection to Edinburgh. We were very disappointed with the Aspire Lounge - not enough seating available (we did eventually get seats to sit as a group), coffee machine out of order, also soft drinks machine out of order. A jug of orange juice was available in the fridge but no glasses available until requested. The staff seemed unable to keep up with clearing tables. The food available was very average in quality. All in all, as a group the use of this Lounge cost us £180.00 and we definitely did not get value for money. The seating we had was not particularly comfortable. We all agreed it would have been a better experience to have had a meal in a restaurant in Terminal 3 for £30 each. We would rate our experience of this Lounge as Very Poor.

Lack of food choice. Only hot breakfast option was bacon rolls that were stored in s heated cabinet. Pastries were dry. Lots of food items had run outband we had to ask for them to be replenished. Staff were not particularly helpful. Lounge itself was grubby and not in a state of good repair in places. I had to inform staff that one of the toilets was unusable and needed cleaning. Tv had no subtitles on it so it was not worth it being on!! Have used other lounges of far superior quality and of far better value!! Would not be using Aspire again!! A complete wast of my £52!! I was so disappointed.

Although the lounge was large enough for the amount of people who were there, the selection of refreshments was very poor, the sandwiches came out a few at a time, so whenever we went to collect some, there was only one left. There was no diet drinks available. We booked the lounge for two reasons firstly to be able to sit and relax before out flight and secondly to be able to have a few snacks while waiting as our flight was over a lunch period. Both me and my companion went on to buy food on the plane. We were also shock at how far the lounge was from boarding and having trouble getting through the passport check was quite stressful. I would not choose to use the lounge at Faro again. The staff member had no record of our booking and I have to bring up the email on my phone as proof.

Food was cold, no one ever at the bar for drinks, seating was cramped and not very comfy. By far the worst lounge I've spent time in, a complete waste of money

When considering value for money, it is very poor.

The Lounge has no relaxing area to offer, only sofas. Very cold atmosphere. Maybe the colors? or the equipments?

Considering we visited Aspire at lunch time, no lunch was available apart from soup! Appalling and inadequate array of options displayed resulting in a disappointing start to our holiday.

We booked the LHR terminal 5 lounge due to a 4 hour connection time between flights. The lounge advertises a range of continental lagers, amongst other things, which is one of the reasons we booked it (we don't drink wine). On arrival, the one draft lager was out of order. We asked the barman and were told the only lager available was Tiger - and that there was only 1 bottle of this left!?! This was the extent of the 'range' of lagers. I also asked for some crisps and was told by a member of staff that his colleague was dealing with this. I stood for 10 minutes waiting for crisps but they didn't appear, so I finally gave up. As there was no lager, I went to the bar for a soft drink - only to find that the self-serve Pepsi machine was also out of order. There were people queuing and standing at the bar (lounge was over-full) and so I gave up. We ended up leaving early and going to an airport bar for a drink. We did complain whilst in the lounge via the Aspire live chat on the website and were told the manager was dealing with the lack of lager etc. they promised us an email the next day - and we're still waiting a week later. In short, a complete waste of money, save your cash and use it in an airport bar or restaurant instead. This lounge is a shambles.

I booked wrong as I was leaving from the South terminal, but despite many attempts to contact the Aspire lounge I never recived any reply/reaction. I will not even consider throwing Money waway on them again.

I couldn't have been more disappointed! Had to queue at reception. The lounge was very cramped and busy with all seats taken. The layout is unappealing with small tables too close together. The choice of food was limited but just OK. There was no beer available on tap. Staff were not particularly attentive r helpful.

Being regular visitors to the aspire lounge in Bristol this new area was a very exciting concept. It was however very disappointing and our party will be seeking a refund. We were met with a smaller lounge which had no atmosphere, cold snacks (that were supposed to be warm), cold staff, and the news that every item on the menu was out of stock.

Staff were unpleasant and disinterested. Limited amount of food available and had to ask for plates. The tables were not cleared fast enough giving the impression the lounge was dirty. The bar stewedess open a bottle of prosseco with a dish cloth. I would suugest you would have a more enjoyable time at gordon ramsay or waga mama where they value customers. I definately would not stay here again.

I was looking forward to visiting the new lounge at T5. The food and drink available was good, but it is nothing more than a cordened of corner, with no toilets. Not worh paying £29 to use it in my oppinion, as T5 has good eating/drinking options available.

A long way to walk, not easy to find, shabby, no flight information, food stock needed replenishing - had to ask, repeatedly. Pre-packed, tasteless, cotton-wool croissants. Not at all a relaxing lounge and definitely not worth the money.

Compared to other lounges we have been in this was small, uncomfortable seating and limited food options. There was also a queue to get in despite the fact that we had pre booked. It is almost as though this lounge was squashed into a corner of the terminal as an afterthought without being planned properly. No what I would have expected from Heathrow.

It was definitely the worst airport lounge I have visited, I treated our friends as they had not been to any lounges before. What a bad impression this gave, over crowded no seats available, awful food selection and waited so long for a drink because there were so many people in there and few staff. I would like a refund as it was not worth the £120 it cost me. Rubbish start to our holiday, will not be visiting it again thats for sure.

Awful it was a waste of money I had high expectations after visiting a lounge in stansted airport but here was more money and there was no where for us to sit when we first arrived, small bar and not much food, it didn't feel very private!! I was let down and I will not come here again
