“Hi...renewed my house insurance earlier this week.m It did take me a number of calls to expedite this. The latter was due to PE's Underwriters' insistence on getting some quite detailed information from my builder (I am currently having minor work done in my bathroom). After my builder went to considerable effort to gain said information, the policy was renewed anyway, and I was told that the info wasn't, after all, required. The attitude of your underwriters was pedantic to say the least. The renewals staff, however, were completely different. They were all helpful, professional, and very patient when going through my policy. May I give thanks to one chap called Nick Sadler, who was particularly helpful and who, eventually, sold me my policy. I am very aware of the problems faced by these operatives...I have two sons who work for a very large insurance company, doing the same jobs. In all, a good experience, marred only by the attitude od PE's Underwriters.”

“This is our 4th year with policy expert, we stayed with the company as we found their service to be excellent. In 2015 our house flooded as a result of surface water. I rang them on a Monday and they didn’t quibble, there was an assessor on the property within the week and they settled the claim within 2 weeks, we were able to go about putting our lives back together. Thank you policy expert, first class”

“I have had Policy Expert for years, this year I had an email to say they had renewed my policy, due to my going into hospital I could not speak to them about my policy or to price compare which I normally do. I would like them to send out details of my policy renewal at least 3 weeks before the due date rather than a few days!”

“I was quite happy with the quote that I got from Policy Expert, the only thing that I didn't like is the fact that I could not lower the excess, all their policies have a default excess of £250.00 and cannot be lowered. When you think about it, it is a lot to have knocked off any claim that you might have, and that's providing that you have conformed with all of their conditions that they have put in their policy.”
