They showed rapid understanding of what I wanted done and made fully-explained proposals for the actions they recommended. Two days after the laptop was returned to me it all seems to be working ok. Only the expensive hourly rate stopped me rating the service VG.

All praise to Louie he was friendly and efficient however When I rang Geeks on Wheels I mentioned the fact that our PC had been scammed by someone claiming to be from spark. I asked if I should bring my computer into town as we live in Raglan. I queried how much your sevice would cost. I was told 1/12 hours approx. In fact Louie needed to take the PC home to clean it etc. The traveling here twice is an added cost. Could you please quantify. Thank you Elsa Lye

Hi Elsa, good to hear that Louie was friendly and efficient. In terms of how long the appointment would take that was in reference to the spark issue, Louie determined that your computer would also require an SSD upgrade. Most of the work was fine. But one of the main reasons for calling Geeks was to block the pop-up spam "Antispam OE Hook Launcher" It still pops up but not as often. When it does it usually means I have to restart the PC to open Outlook. So this was not good.

A bit disappointed that twice my appointments had to be postponed due to illness of the reps. I accept that people get sick but feel that especially on the 2nd Occassion more could have been done as it only required my Laptop to be collected from me, and because of my work commitments had to be delayed a further week. And in finalising the invoice today was charged more than quoted as more time was required than initially quoted, yet I had been more “time value” inconvenienced than that.

Reuben was running late but rang to tell me. Very good. He was really tech savvy and performed really quickly. However I was a bit disappointed that when he transferred my email folders from my old lap top to my new one the new folders with the same name were over written. Reuben couldn't understand why and tried everything to retrieve them without success. It was a bit surprising to me that something could disappear completely and as I said, quite disappointing. Everything else went well but I think Reuben was frustrated and disappointed about losing the email folders too.

Manny was very helpful, he ensured that he answered all my questions (which were a lot!) and helped me understand what I was entitled to under the subscriptions that I already had. My computer is better than a new one now and very quick so I'm a happy camper :-)

Jacob was on time nice to talk to and solved all my problems, being in my mid 80s find it hard to learn all the computer terms so its nice to have Geeks to call on.

The service Geeks offer is the person-to-person interaction which is the main value. The technical expertise and the on site attendance are to be standard and easily compared. I have used Geeks in multiple occasions and have found them to exceed my expectations.
