“Had to cancel as French Government made all but key worker travel from U.K. illegal. Their ‘free cancellation’ is misleading and a misnomer as all they offer is credit note. FRAUDS, DO NOT USE THEM. There are far better transfer companies with good reputations and integrity.”

“Do not book a transfer with Gettransfer in these uncertain times. We had booked a transfer with GetTransfer to take us from Geneva to Meribel, for around £450. The French government then change the isolation rules, meaning we could not enter France without quarantining, and so we were forced to cancel our holiday. When I approached GetTransfer for a refund on our transfer, I was told this was not possible. I called, and was told I had to email my request, but when I email, they only respond with they are not able to refund me. I cannot speak to anyone on the phone who doesn’t just tell me to email and am essentially out £450. They offered a voucher, however after the customer service, or lack thereof I have received, I would not wish to use this company even if it was possible to get out of the country again this year, which it may not be. Avoid – companies need to be flexible in these times, and accept that there are circumstance outside of their customers control, and in these circumstances they should offer a refund.”

“I booked a transfer 6 weeks ago from munich into Austria, as is now known we cannot fly or travel through Germany so had to cancel with 6 weeks notice. They highlighted free cancellation , what they didn't highlight was that free cancellation doesn't mean your money back but you get effectively a credit note . When I e mailed them theyy quoted terms and conditions which are ambiguous as best . Please avoid this company they are thieves and fraudsters . Have seen a few reviews saying the same thing . Please avoid”

“Sadly yet another company who just want to take your money no matter what. I paid £471 up front for airport/ skiing transfers but when France closed its borders to British travellers I this Xmas we tried to cancel the transfers. They cancelled them but refuse to offer a refund despite the trip being well in the future (still!) and within the cancellation period. The transfers were for a party of 7 and I need to pay everyone back the money we spent out now the trip can’t go ahead. I explained this several times to Get Transfer via phone and email and still they will not refund. I’m afraid I have to advise don’t use this company, they will take your money and keep it regardless of all reasonable cancellation period. They will refer to a user agreement. Let’s give them less users. Please share this review. I’ll be sharing on socials in the new year.”

“MISLEADING COMPANY!! DO NOT USE!!! Their website makes it clear they give free cancelation. This does not consist of a refund but the money goes in to what they call your 'personal account' which isn't your bank account but your account within get transfer. If it stated this clearly on the part that says free cancelation and not in the tiny terms and condition I never would have booked!! They are now holding £550 of my money and are refusing to refund me! I have contacted customer services they just keep sending me their terms of agreement. MAKE IT CLEAR ON YOUR WEBSITE!!!”

“Do not use Get. They do not care about the customer. I booked a transfer with them. The driver was 1 hour late for a 30 minute ride. Asked for a partial refund and they refused. Even a small refund as a gesture of goodwill would have gone a long way. I get it that they do not own the cars or run the transfers and are essentially a marketplace for local companies, but they should have the responsibility to look after the customer and make it right if something goes wrong.”

“DO NOT USE - SCAMMERS. They mislead on their website and say can cancel within 24 hrs but then refuse to refund despite their terms and conditions stating that they will if cancellation is due to Covid Pandemic. Slow in responding and do not answer questions posed.”

“Please people be very careful when booking with this fraud company. I made a booking for €330 and had to change the dates and the new dates did not suit the driver, so i had to cancel the booking, i was told it would be refunded to my personal account which i thought they meant my bank account, so i re -booked a new 1 with the new dates on my card only to then be told that i will be given credit to use with them, so i have spent almost €700 on a transfer as i wont need to use them again they are refusing to refund to my card absolute shambolic company please be really carefull”

“!!!! WHAT A FAKE COMPANY! DON'T DO ANY BOOKINGS ! THERE WILL BE NO DRIVER AND YOU LOOSE YOUR MONEY !!!! I have ordered a service at Vienna Airport a week ago. Flight was in time. Driver never showed up. When trying to contact him there was only voicemail. When contacting Gettransfer and saking for my money to be refunded i was pit on hold with cheap excused that they are currently trying to contact their 'quality' department....what an sad joke. They never refunded the money and i had to ask my creditcard company to block this payment. WHAT A SCAM !!”

“Blaming it on the pandemic, they withhold the carriers earnings…one-third to be exact. The say they will payout in thirds but if you’re not using the app you get no payout. Well over a year and a half has gone by and I’m still waiting on my money. Just emailed support a week ago to terminate the agreement. Today I get the following response: Dear partner, Notwithstanding the currently unstable epidemiological situation, we are not giving up on our commitment, and currently, we are doing our utmost to transfer the remaining payouts as soon as it is possible. Sincerely yours, GetTransfer.com Team UNACCEPTABLE”

“Don't EVER use this company, especially during Covid. We had a transfer booked from Heathrow after our return from Cyprus but my wife tested positive for Covid. Understanding and help from this company was ZERO, all they were interested in was quoting their draconian cancellation policy. I don't think that they realise we are in a global pandemic and certainly DON'T CARE ! As we cancelled within 48 hours ( which every client waiting for a Covid test result will miss) we will lose all our money, over 250 pound. PLEASE USE SOMEONE ELSE.”

When we booked our transfer last year we carefully checked the cancellation terms, now we've had to cancel their terms have been changed and they are refusing to refund, only add the funds to our account. Those were not the terms when we booked! Currently seeking legal advice! WOULD NOT USE OR TRUST THIS COMPANY!”

“They have a very terrible refund policy. I got a car for $1,000 the later cancelled and got one for $800. I told these people I wanted by $200 back into my account but they said that it can’t be refunded only kept as credit. The worst part is I’m probably never going to use the website again so does this mean that my $200 is gone within the blink of an eye? It just doesn’t make any sense. This should have been a legal matter but because I am leaving the country, I’m just leaving the sitautaion be. If you plan on cancelling your order then don’t use this website because they will not give you a refund.”
