Was in halfords Belfast on two occasions and sought advice from staff. Andy was very helpful and went out of his way to assist. Thank you. Would recommend this store.

My car recently passed the MOT test but Halfords warned, via an "advisory", that 2 tyres should be replaced because they were cracked. I was quoted approximately £260 for 2 tyres. A subsequent visit to the main dealer confirmed that the tyres did not need replacing and were good for another 5000 miles.

I visited The Wellingborough store today to see if I could have some inner tubes fitted on to two bikes. Jut, the fitter, was excellent and did the job straight away. He got the bikes out of the car and into the store. He then asked another colleague to help me get one bike up the stairs while he took the other. This colleague (a lady) was very obliging and cheerful. Jut fixed the bikes quickly and efficiently, whilst taking care to make sure they were safe, also putting a chain back on where it had come loose during the car journey. He put the bikes back in the car very carefully. He was pleasant and helpful throughout and I can't recommend him highly enough. The only part of the experience that I found a little bizarre was having the bike repair section on the first floor, although I understand there is a lift available. An excellent customer service experience.

I visitsd lisburn store today and was servecd by chris I would like to say how helful and kind nothing was tomuch bother trouble for him plesant and very helpful you don't receive this kind of costume now days I just had to write and thanks to chris and halford I will be using this store from mow on and will, recomend lisburnstore to my family friends

purchased a new inner tube and had it fitted at gateshead team valley store and every threedays had to pump it up took it back today and asked if they would have a look for the problem .onreturn to store was told it was a fault on valve but they had put a new tube in free of charge but was then informed it would cost me for labour .as it was not our fault i cant understand why i was charged could you please explain thank you

Been to halfords today with my sons bike wheel which as broken spokes to be told it's not covered wear and tear have to pay so why do u have warranty if it cover the hole bike

Very bad experience with this company, don't buy online from them and if you do prepare to contact them yourself to follow up your stuff or they will just waste your time. I ordered 3 items online on the 11th of October 2015, didn't received my items for more than a week and was suppose to arrive latest on the 16th of October 2015, took my money, I emailed customer service about the issue they told me that my order wasn't even processed so I was waiting for nothing, they didn't even informed me and I was the one to contact them. No consolidation whatsoever just offered me the choice for a refund or for them to process the order again - cost me a lot of my time and money.

Went to Halfords Tiverton and was served by the Duty Manager. Complete idiot tried to fit a bulb into my Volvo, broke the connector and said it was already like it, couldn't put the headlight bulb in because he removed the headlight clip and blamed it on me and then couldn't even fit the rubber gromit back on the headlight. Sent me to ANY garage you like to have headlight removed via removal of front bumper and Halfords will pay??? And this guy is a Manager? Really! Luckily Im actually a decent guy, a friend of mine fitted the bulb and clip and gromit back in five minutes for free so saved Halfords £180 Volvo's quoted price.

I took my car in it failed on minor issues then I get a phone call every 30 mins telling me they found this then they found that should of cost £200 now more like £400. They no you have no choice. Just a typical British company ripping off British people. Enough of being raped by these criminals if it's not kwik fit it's Halfords it never ends

I had reason to have the battery or starter motor checked for a fault at Portsmouth Halfords store number 0852 and found the whole staff very obliging I had the manager Simon serve me who checked the battery circuit thoroughly nothing was left to chance, I have total admiration for his expertise the way he went through the whole circuit until the problem was found was first class I would not hesitate to return to Halfords again especially the Portsmouth store. Just been trying to buy a mountain bike for my son. The website is a joke and constantly puts you back at the sales page. Cant read reviews or look at bike spec. I suggest using UK Cycles or Evans as this is an absolute joke.

Halfords Bromley. Took my son's bike for it's 6 week check.Was attended to immediately by Noel,who in 10 mins, fixed and cleaned rear brake and gave the rest of the bike a clean bill of health.Have dealt with this guy before-very helpful and friendly. Great service .Thankyou.

Dear Sir/Madam, 3 years ago from your Putney /London branch I purchased a CBoardman MX race bike with 3 year care plan. Last year I left it in the shop for annual check up. they forgot to check the brakes issue I raised, finally when the breaks totally jammed after sometime I took it back to the shop for fixing during which they lost the front wheel valve cap. This year on the 16th September/LAST WEEK I took back to again to same Putney branch for annual check up, they identified that only the chain to be replaced c£24 and estimated collection date is 17th September. One week passed and I called them up today no one picked up the phone and my bike is still in the shop. Could you explain what is happening ? I believe late service is bad service. I need my bike ...Thanks for your help in advance. Ercin AKTANER

Visited Chester greyhound park store wanting to buy a bike for my daughter and partner. Lads on the counter couldn't care less about customer service and were just rude. They then told me the bike I wanted wasn't in stock and sent me to Ellesmere Port store where it was available. Surprise suprise on arrival I was told it wasn't in stock and was discontinued. Thankfully Chris at the store was more than helpful and found me another suitable bike and I bought two from him, iv since visited the other Chester store and Sam on the bike counter was also extremely helpful and knowledgable about the bikes in stock and I purchased another bike for myself. Clear lack of knowledge and training at the greyhound park store, really lets the company down and il never buy from that store again. Wasted a lot of my time.

Halfords did 2,services on my car, took it to the dealer for my latest service as it was smelling of burning. Turns out Halfords hadn't changed a number of the expected service parts such as filters and they were so clogged the motor was burning out. Useless avoid like the plague

My teenage son took his bike into Halfords Bexhill on sea to have the brakes replaced, and they decided to check the whole bike, stating that it needed new chain and gears that would cost £108. They point blank refused to change the brakes and have insisted they needed to get the other repairs done or they would be liablie. The only liability as far as we are concerned is they were happy to leave unroadworthy brakes on my son's bike. Will not be using Halfords again

Took my 3 year old seat in for an interim service and mot,later received a phone call saying it had passed but had a leaking rear wheel cylinder ! Which they would replace for nearly 200 quid ! I declined this and said I would get it done later as found wheel cylinders for under 20 quid online ! When I went to collect car they tried to charge me for balancing 4 wheels and had only done 3 which apparently was lack of communication between staff,more like they thought I was stupid ! So all in all I would never use them again ! So a big warning stay away from halfords Sydenham they are useless con artists !

the rating refers to the way you treat your customers ? after buying a satnav i filled in the on line competition and promptly started getting dozens of spam e mails, since buying my first computer 3 years ago, number of spam e mails 2, since buying a satnav from Halfords and entering the competition number of spam e mails about 80 and counting ? i think this is a disgusting way to treat your customers, i don't know what financial remuneration you receive for this but i for one will never again purchase anything from you again ! if this is the way you feel a business should be run then i hope you fail miserably, it's unethical and immoral
