Disgusting company. I installed Uber, but never made any agreement with Uber Eats. I find out now that they have signed me up with Uber Eats, unbeknownst to me, and yesterday I have had 2 fraudulent transactions as their app is insecure. Uber have told me that they won't refund the because these orders are consistent with my order history. This is despite the fact that I have ever ordered from Uber Eats, and the orders were made for random addresses in England but I live in Northern Ireland.

Our Business shows up at two locations- Google maps are updated for moths and yet our customers are being taken to the wrong address- Your team was unable to help when I called and advised that every time this happens to our customers they should complain to their driver and on the app and hopefully your Maps team will pick this up

Worst customer service i have ever experienced. I had an issue and spoke to 4 different people in the same day. Phone would get disconnected and no one would call back. The customer service person did not understand what I was explaining to him and her. Terrible listening skills, the representative would talk over me. Never got the issue resolved. Neither my uber nor uber eats works tbh I’m saving alot if money so it ok. I use lyft and cook at home.

My car is down so I am using Uber a lot in the last few days. I plan meticulously so that I am dropped and complete my jobs then have enough for my Uber home. So, I confirm my Uber and the driver picks me up. Says she has a delivery to drop first then will drop me after. Not knowing any better I say ok. It doesn’t bother me at all. When I am dropped off my bank sends a notification that I’m overdrawn by $1something. My $18 ride became $40 because I was charged the additional miles that it took for the driver to make her delivery. I contact Uber and they fix the price but of course the reversal with my bank will take days. And here I am now. Multiple calls, chats, emails to Uber and hours later sitting on a curb because my funds are frozen and it’s looking strongly like I’ll be walking 17 miles in the country at 10 p.m. with no jacket. I added what cash I have on hand to a card but it’s not enough for the full ride. I was only asking for a discount or promo to get me home. Since the issue that caused this mess was not of my doing I didn’t think it would be so difficult to fix. But here we are. Vent over, walking now 🚶🏻🚶🏻🚶🏻

I booked a ride to take me to work at 9:30pm today. The ride was supposed to be approximately 30 minutes. Along the way, the driver took the opposite direction. I was wondering what went wrong. It turned out that he took me all the way to another part of Birmingham just because he wanted to purchase petrol. It was only when he got close to the gas station that he asked if he could get some petrol. He then went back to around the original location he picked me before going to the destination I requested. As a result, I arrived 40 whole minutes late. There was no traffic, so I would have arrived early assuming the driver kept to his side of the contract. I wasn’t going for a pleasure trip, I was going to work! I have a problem with any driver quickly stopping and purchasing petrol on their way to the destination, but not going all the way opposite the destination to the extent that I was 40 minutes late to my destination. So I believe this was a deliberate action. While we were on the way, because I was not sure of the motive why the driver behaved this way, I had to call my sister on the phone, and I continued speaking with her until I got to my destination 40 minutes late. On top of that, for a trip that was about £29.80, I was charged £52.57. I contacted your call centre, they were quite dismissive although later they said they have escalated the matter. I asked for a refund and compensation for what has just happened. Your team said that they will refund the wrong amount charged by Uber which is about £22.77 and a £5 compensation. 40 minutes is too much of a time to be lost just on one journey. Coming in 40 minutes late to work is damaging especially in this inflation everyone is taking work seriously and all I get from Uber is £5. What Uber is saying in essence is, “We can put you at risk, breach our contract with you by dropping you off anytime we want, then throw £5 at you as compensation for your worry, stress and time”. That is what an Uber One member is worth to Uber. Do you know that I have lost time and money on this trip because of extreme lateness for no fault of mine and all I get is £5 from call centre agents who treat you shabbily? I am exceedingly unhappy with Uber!

Encourages customers to tip-bait. Uber offered me specific amount for an order including a generous tip, and the customer removed the tip after delivery. Called support because I delivered food on time with no problems, support was extremely rude, telling me “tips are based on customers”. I told them that it’s not okay to offer me pay and then pay me less when I did the job with no issue, and the “supervisor” hung up on me. Taking these guys to small claims, if nothing else it costs them more to pay a representative to defend them than it costs me to file. Crazy that they treat drivers like this.

Tech support was unable to respond to my simple question which included screenshots and an explanation of the issue. Standard help files sent initially as a generic response which clearly didn’t address the problem and which any competent user would have read anyway.

Stop overcharging your customers 😒, nobody will be $30 for a $13 trip .This is insane ,we all need to make money 💰. The employees don't even get most of the money but do most of the work.

Have been charged 9.99 a month and can't get rid of this

Yes. I was receiving texts and emails from my financial institution saying that Uber tried to get $9.99 from my account. I went to my institution and told them to block Uber from receiving funds. I then continuously received the same texts saying that Uber was declined because I blocked them. I contacted Uber support and asked to be taken off their records completely. They were so incompetent that they kept saying that they couldn't find the charges when I explained in detail that there were no charges because I had them blocked. They refused to delete my information and I finally had to cancel my card in order to quit receiving the emails and texts. Now I have to wait 2 weeks for my card. I will never use their service again for anything. Don't give them your financial information. They will charge you for nothing and you won't be able to get any help from them.

Extremely rude guy, goes by the name Liam. Was not able to understand simple English and doesn’t have common sense. When I politely asked to speak to his supervisor, he put me on hold since 20 minutes and I am still on the line but no one is coming back.

No one is able to help, contentiously placed on hold for it to hang up. I spoke to over 30 or so people and I get the same script with no resolution.

Uber are horrific, not only are they a money laundering service they’re also a bunch of con artists; the inward help service only brings more issues; “help lines” are just money laundering schemes as no one can actually ever seem to “help”. It will only be a matter of time before uber have their day in court; avoid at all cost

I get bad ratings for things like the passenger giving me the wrong pin location and then the employees use that as a point against me to kick me off of the app. People report me for not being polite but I haven’t done anything wrong. Out of all the rides I’ve given I’ve been kicked off after a short period of time using the app just after 5 bad reviews.
