Awful room. Extremely basic, horrible bedding and zero sleep before a very early flight! The woman on reception needs customer service training! Or just how to be pleasant to people.

We had to come home early due to a family illness we amended through chatbot and they responded to day this had been amended. Its wasn't amended and we had to wait an hour for the car to be located and delivered to the Meet and Greet Area Will never use again.

Had to wait an age (30 mins plus) for the bus to arrive, and when it did they wouldn't allow us on because it was full so had to wait for another. Car park is terrible for suitcases, ruined my fiancé's case as it's full of large stones that you can't pull a case over. Also full of massive pot holes meaning you've to drive exceptionally slowly through the car park or risk damage to your car

Taxi did not turn up at the airport to take us to the hotel. Had to use a local taxi instead.

What a waste of money it was booking this "lounge". It's more a corridor than a lounge. There are no toilet facilities - you have to go out to the terminal area for the toilet. The "hot" food was flavourless and only warm. The electric sockets and USB sockets next to us didn't work. We would have been better off saving money and paying for a nice meal in the terminal itself. All in all, this was a huge disappointment and waste of money!

Edit - Don’t be misled by the fact Holiday Extras look like they respond to your complaint. In fact they just reiterate their original response. The voucher can be used for “a smaller range of products”. This in fact means ONE product - the one you originally booked. As I say misleading and in my opinion fraudulent. Avoid. You think you have the option to cancel booking and receive a voucher. It is not made clear that said voucher can ONLY be used at the EXACT hotel you previously booked. So voucher is USELESS unless you are making the exact same trip!! Misleading and fraudulent in my opinion. Will not use again.

I booked to stay at the Stansted Airport Lodge in Takely, however the site was misleading. I thought I was staying 5mins from the airport. I didn't realise I was expected to move my car at stupid o'clock (my flight was at 6am) to another hotel nearer the airport. This cost me an extra £50, there was nowhere to eat or buy a drink at Stansted Airport Lodge. I would never use Holiday Extras or recommend to anyone.

I would urge any lady on their own not to use the Meet & Greet service. Below is the complaint which was an acknowledgement was received that I would receive a response 0-3 days. To date still waiting. Have sent another email and yet still waiting. I refer you to the reference above. I carried out your instructions on 9th May 2023 but when dialling the number given it referred me to go onto the internet. Firstly, I do not know how you expect any customer to call 20 minutes in advance of arrival as it is illegal to use the phone when driving. I could not contact anyone from the Meet & Greet Service, and I did not have access to any internet service. I was hoping that at 09.00 a.m. when I didn’t show up your office would have called me by this time, as I was at Luton to enquire if I was OK or had cancelled. I did not receive any calls from your Luton office. In the end I had to arrange alternative parking to meet my flight. I was on my own and wanted some security regarding parking and especially returning in the early evening but however, this was not the service I received. To this avail, I would like you to refund my money as a gesture of good as the service I received was extremely unprofessional for such a corporate company and I did not use the parking facilities that was sold to me. I look forward to a favourable reply.

I was charged an extra £15 to get out out of the car park. And only when I shouted at the man inside the machine did they raise the barrier. Why?

I felt very let down by Holiday Extras and extremely disappointed with the reservation at the Europa Hotel. It’s a VERY TIRED hotel and desperately in need of refurbishment. The corridors leading to the room smelt musty, there was a big chip in the bathtub. We were mislead with “The Carvery”, it was like school dinners, served by indifferent staff.I resent paying £25 for inedible food. Both my husband & I ended up with crackers and cheese for dinner.

Bournemouth car park was a shambles - it’s being updated but during this time only one exit …. That exit wasn’t working giving queues to get out …. Then they just opened the second lane after we’d all been queuing ages but we were stuck at front of first queue and couldn’t move - ridiculous - staff rude

Please , let someone of authority read this text for the benefit of your company. I am a regular traveller and have used your services on many occasions. A couple of months ago I had a problem of a no show for my return trip to the airport at Marrakesh. After my report to you your company refunded the money ( the least you could do under the circumstances) and also a discount on future booking . I took this discount for this trip . Arrived at Hurghada Airport on time to begin the hunt for our transfer. A rep. from another company ( Master travel) could see my distress and assisted me in seeking your person ( Egypt Travelist) . After a thorough search we both decided he was not there . I thanked him for his assistance and jumped onto the TUI coach as it was leaving. Worried about the return trip the hotel kindly contacted the company to confirm collection. Yes , he did arrive, but , 1hr 25min early meaning an unnecessary long wait at the airport. So ..... what now . Another discount followed by stress of another no show???? . I am aware that you rely on other companies, BUT , it is up to YOU to make sure these companies are reliable. With two stressful trips as a direct cause of your company and your associates I feel that it is time for us to part company. It is a shame because you have the potential to offer a terrific service. On arriving at the Sentinel office they had no details of our booking so it was a good thing that l had printed details of our car and payment l had made through your company. I have booked through you on previous occasions and had no problems. Very disappointed on this occasion. It was Leeds Bradford Airport Sentinel park.

Car reg not recognised on entry and on leaving , almost got charged again after paying upfront and was only for another person telling me to see the customer services team In LBA airport saved me another cost absolutely disgraceful after putting all the details online when booking

Our transport to transfer us from the airport to our holiday accomodation did not arrive. No explanation has been offered and Holiday Extras seem to have forgotten all about the conversations we have had and have still not offered to return my money or offer any compensation. Thank you

Further away than long stay car park and charged as if it was on site. There was no way I would have booked this if it had been made clear. Had to wait 20 min for bus in car park and bus driver played Slipknot. Same coming back another 25 min wait at the terminal. Would never use again.

Great transfer to my hotel from airport in Gran Canaria, but return journey was a shambles. After being informed I would be contacted by text with pick up details from the local (Gran Canarian) bus transfer company, that text never came leading to a stressful last day of my holiday with my hotel receptionist trying to track down and phone the supplier who provided the pick up information. Holiday Extras should either take over the texting step entirely, or give customers the email and phone number of the company for customers to follow up in a more timely fashion. Also, after complaining last time that the emergency number does not work in Gran Canaria (the line cannot be connected message), it still doesn't work even if phoned from a land line in the hotel reception. Does Holiday Extras actually follow up on these comments /reviews and fix them?! I don't think so....

Normally we find that booking car park 2/3 is a value for money and convenient choice. However this time, we were not notified in advance that car park 3 was closed for maintenance - this resulted in car park 2 being very full and it took USA long time to find a space. We were delayed getting into the airport and only made our flight with 5 minutes to spare even though we had allowed plenty of time.
