The Ibis is well situated for Birmingham Airport terminal. Our bedroom was large, very clean and the bed was comfortable. However, I would describe the hotel foyer or entrance as cheap and cheerful, not particularly welcoming and disappointing.

No problem with the website. But have to say not impressed with the Midstay 2 car park at Leeds/Bradford. Not easy to negotiate the route to the terminal. A good 15 min dragging the cases up a slope trying to avoid the pot holes and cars driving into the park. Then of course the same problem on return when at night is not well lit.

The hotel was lovely, the bed was perfect, great nights sleep but when we booked we were told breakfast was included & at breakfast was told it wasn't!! So had to spend nearly £30 in the airport .....

A flaw with the booking process meant I paid twice and was offered vouchers instead of a refund. This is the reason why I probably won't use holiday extras again. Only after I had contacted my master card was I given a cash refund. Airparks. Slow booking in process meant we were queueing on the roundabout. When in the car park we were directed to a man in a van who would show us where to park, we then had trouble finding the man as he wasn't in the van. Finally parked on a gravel surface so had to carry cases.

Sofitel hotel was very comfortable and convenient for LGW N.and car drop off easy with Maple meet and greet. It went away clean and shiny but on pick up it looked as if it had been driven over a ploughed field and the driver's carpet no better. It could have been cleaned up a bit in my view before delivery back to the customer and as it stands, they have lost a regular customer.

No problem dropping off but on our return we waited for our car to be brought back for 10 mins or so. When we asked a member of staff why the wait, he said they were busy! Considering it was quiet and three staff standing around having cigarettes we found it not great ending.

Parking etc ok but on return they had all ready returned car to car park at Airport and when we went to leave had to pay a charge for over staying, as the car had been longer than 15 minutes in car park. this was not are fault as we had not called to pick up car. and they did not even say anything at pick up desk? it was only when trying to leave airport that we were charged over stay at barrier.

Booked often due to location but the last few times, have never found an accessible bay available. Would not be able to use if travelling alone

Barrier recognised car on arrival but unfortunately 6 days later on exit it didn't, so a bit of aggravation/ time to eventually exit. Technical fault that may not be “Holiday Extras” fault!!!

Would have given five as everything is easy but every time I use 1-2 or 3 car parks at Birmingham airport the barrier never opens and you have to phone, difficult with impatient drivers behind you

THe Holiday Extras booking procedure is always very straightforward and we have used them on numerous occasions flying from the South terminal. This time was from the North terminal. Parking is easy enough once you find it but they need to improve the signage to find the Sofitel from the car park, which isn't the easiest in the dark. The Sofitel Double Room was excellent, but our meal in the Terrace Bar was awful. Wrong order delivered, cold food and staff who were totally disinterested.

Hotel is actually the Radisson Red. The conference centre is at the rear. It is quite a way from Terminal 5 and the hotel hoppa bus is a disaster. Dont do it. Pay extra and get a taxi - especially the return. Hotel itself was ok. Not 4 star at any stretch. Probably wouldn't use it again. Fly from Gatwick and use the Premier Inn.

Good service and value for money, and handily located close to Manchester T1. Will definitely use again but have a couple of gripes which don't warrant a higher rating compared to other reviewers. One, the lot signage needs to be improved, or a map provided inside reception area so one can easily find their car when leaving. I'm not saying there isn't a map, but I've never seen it. My car was in the Blue Row A, B, C and D section, but the signage for these rows faces towards to the access road and not reception, so I had to wander around to find those rows to retrieve my car. There also wasn't any staff members out in the lot to assist. I think I've got it sussed now, but other or new users might also find that annoying. Two, I appreciate the staff need to move the electric seat so they can drive the car around the lot, but I don't appreciate them screwing up my seat memory settings for their convenience - that's highly inconvenient for me when I have to re-adjust everything before leaving the lot.

Normally using the silver zone parking is good, how ever yesterday on our return only one bus was in operation, we had to wait over 40 minutes in the freezing cold, and we were the lucky ones, people behind us would of been over an hour wait. This is beyond ridiculous. Silver zone are aware when the flights arrive and how many customers are returning and should have sufficient buses to accommodate this. It was only fortunate that is was not raining. Not good enough!!!

The service was fine, but not enough information provided by holiday extras. One assumed it was the official meet and greet service and not a random man in a high vis jacket (No criticism of said man) Add instructions letting customers know what to expect. There was no mention of the parking company called blue circle on the booking email. Ie head to the play machine where a blue circle employee will park your vehicle ( I had to be told by the official meet and greet ) I wasn't on the list and perhaps go find said random man. You also have to call then when you have collected bags, none of the numbers worked. The guys there confirmed they had all changed, but luckily my car was ready on arrival. Improve HE! Doesn't take much from your part.

On our return arrival at Bristol Airport from Cyprus at 23:00, instead of the normal bus stop for the shuttle bus we were diverted to an alternative pick up point. This involved a long walk dragging our suitcases. The directions to the alternative pick up point given by the local staff were confusing, to say the least. However, once we got back to the Silver Zone return desk the reclaim procedure for the car key was most efficient.

Club Aspire Terminal 3 Staff were pleasant and helpful when available. However, the quality and availability of food was very disappointing. This has been my least favourite airport Lounge at any of the London airports but still better than being in the general waiting area.

Easy access to T5 from carpark, so that's good. Not so good to find every single thing that could be adjusted inside the car, was adjusted all over the place!

Overnight accommodation was good however I was not impressed with the condition of my car when I collected it from T2. The car was covered in bird poo and it looked like it had been parked in a muddy field for two weeks. The windows had been wiped with what I can only assume was a muddy cloth. Al in all not impressed with T2 car park at Heathrow
