I want to review House of Fraser delivery service which is totally unacceptable! 2 weeks delivery to Ireland!! No more purchases from this retailer..

still waiting for my delivery that I placed on 27/11/17 it was a birthday present for my husband which never arrived spoiled his birthday & I had no contact from HOF even though I contacted them 4 times, the guys said they were taking the calls & they were in South Africa their names Vernon & Rydon im still waiting its 5 December

I only put one star as can’t do no star! Ordered on 17th Nov , received dispatch email on 20th of Nov, still not received item or had any of my 6 calls returned! I’ve emailed, teeeted & Facebook messaged & nothing. So 16 day later, no item, no refund!! You should be ashamed of your customer service.

Do not order from this store!!! I have been a client for years and recently ordered a dress that wasn’t included in the package I received. I sent pics as a proof.They refused to reimbursed me even if I had to reorder the dress again! Very bad customer service and no loyalty to their customer base. Stay away!

Ordered online, order was cancelled without informing me. I contacted them and they said to check with my bank that they would approve charge (I did, they did) and then attempted re-order. Again they cancelled it ! Contacted and asked what the problem was and they said "it failed INTERNAL security checks" ... so my bank was happy to pay, but HOF thought it could be fraudulent. Took my business elsewhere .... FOR GOOD.

Bought a set of these, what I received was a mix of 2 different boxer sets. What should have been a light blue boxer with a blue waistband, a dark blue boxer with a dark blue waistband and a black boxer with a black waistband turned out to be a black boxer with a white waistband a navy navy boxer with a black waistband and the only correct one was the light blue boxer with the light blue waist band. Called to get it exchanged the only thing they could offer was to send it back wait for the refund 5 - 7 working days and place the order again this time without the discount. Really disappointed. No Quality control and poor customer service.

New paperless receipt system a joke. did not get emails confirming items being sent so no e-receipt. called customer service twice who said would resend. but no emails came. then tried webchat who tried to tell me my email provider was blocking their emails! Well the one confirming receipt of my order came OK, and all the marketing ones enticing me to buy more things that I would then have problems sending back! so now they are sending a paper version, by mail, with no promise about how long it will take to arrive.

I ordered and paid for a dress for my wife, including £6 payment for 2 day delivery. I received a tracking number and was informed the item would be delivered on 21/11/2017 I waited in for a full day and kept checking the tracking number, to no avail. I rang up customer services at 1830hrs to be told the dress had gone missing and I would get a full refund! I was not offered any alternative,so yesterday we had to go out shopping for a new dress as this was for a function tomorrow evening!!! to add insult to injury i will have to wait up to 10 days to get my money back! "Well done House of Fraser, great service............................... NOT!

Beware that the List Price of some items can significantly differ online to instore. Bought a pair of boots in store for £59 but they were listed as £50 online. I can of course go back to the HOF store in Oxford Street and get a refund then reorder online but it would cost me that in train fare. The customer service team were unsympathetic. As a point of principle I will return the boots to store (along with the handbag I bought) and repurchase them at John Lewis. HOF need to learn a few lessons in how to retain customers.

Extremely unhelpful staff with attitude. No telephone manners whatsoever Perhaps I remember the old days when staff did everything possible to help and didn't treat you as an annoying interruption to their day

Disgusted with house of Fraser! I ordered a grey fur throw and received a beauty advent calendar! Was promised it would be sorted out via web chat with customer services - they promised to email me. Heard nothing! I called I was told there is a backlog of complaints!! I was promised a call within 24 hours, heard nothing. Just contacted them again via webchat and told the item is no longer available and yet £52 has been taken from my account. Also told I now have the inconvenience of taking the beauty advent calendar back!!! I will never purchase fro HOF again. The customer service is awful. They even had the cheek to send me a survey!!!!!!!😡

I have had many problems receiving (expensive) items ordered through House of Fraser - they have chosen Yodel as their delivery company who are appallingly unreliable as they employ drivers on a pittance (many cannot speak English) and treat them badly. They lose my stuff all the time. The call centre House of Fraser has chosen to handle our complaints is appalling. An expensive item has gone missing. I have been asking for days for a supervisor to call me back. They don't. The call centre worker says Yodel will contact me. They don't. I don't want them to. I paid my money to House of Fraser and it is up to them to find my parcel - it is contractually their responsibility. No one will tell me if or when I will get a refund. Appalling. Stressful. This is supposed to be a high end brand. No wonder Kendals is doing badly. It will be their own fault when they go out of business. Meanwhile, Trading Standards are taking my case up as I an legally owned money. Shame on House of Fraser. And Shame on Yodel for your appalling service/employment conditions. Edit

I spent £3500 on a dining table and six chairs but the table base has been built upside down and no-one is able to help sort it. Customer service is a joke, you call and you get passed from pillar to post and no one takes ownership of your issue. You get promised a call back that either doesn't materialise or you get another person who says it's not my dept you need to ring xxx and the sorry cycle starts all over again. My issue has been ongoing for 3 weeks now and I am still no further forward because frasers are happy to take your money but not wiling to resolve customer issues. I have now had to refer my case to the furniture ombudsman due to lack of suitable ownership of an issue completely resolveable if only you can get someone who actually cares about customers - a truly shocking set of circumstances that you do not expect from a company so well established and supposed to provide quality goods - in my case nothing could be further from the truth.

Disgraceful customer service. I ordered a sofa and had along discussion with the sales advisor regarding our requirements. When the sofa was delivered it was NOT what I had ordered. I spoke with the Manager of the Furniture Department who was extremely unhelpful and dismissive. His response - "it is your word against the sales advisors". I then went to the Sales Director Office. The lady who rang me was very understanding and listened to my rant but at the end of the day she could only deliver the message, which was the same as above. We had to pay in full at the time of ordering and even though I told the delivery drivers that the sofa wasn't what I had ordered they wouldn't take it back. Once the have got your money as a customer you are meaningless. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE HOUSE OF FRASER FOR ANYTHING. Look at other review sites you will see the same over and over again. Beware what you order !!

Very disappointed that such a good name does not correspond to a good customer service. None knows anything about the products they're selling. There is 0 support to the customer. The experience is dreadful and frustrating. I've been 3 times in the last 2-3 months, in Richmond. Every time asking for some help finding something that could meet my needs, including a dress and a coat. The last time I left the shop fuming. Other department stores have staff allocated that is really helpful and knowledgeable. Well, that's where I'm going. No more House of Fraser.

On purchasing a coat yesterday on my visa debit card, I removed my card when printed but the till just showed processing, 10 minutes later nothing had changed, so the sales assistant called the back office, who told her that the last transaction wasn’t mine and for a gift card. She said we’ll start again and wanted to go to another till but I called my bank who told me that the funds were showing pending on my account so I wasn’t going to charged twice. Another manager came over and told us to go to another till and we told her that the amount is being debited from my account, she was as useful as a chocolate teapot and said oh and walked away!! The sales rep called the back office again and the put her through to Poland who shut down her system. After 25 minutes I got a cancellation receip but the bank couldn’t confirm if the transaction had been cancelled! The sales rep was embarrassed and apologetic, and it wasn’t her fault. The system is clear old and needs refreshing.

Customer service was a joke, no formal complaints procedure. They sent wrong product, after 2 hours online and on the phone I gave up, will just return and refund. Have shopped with them for 40 years, never again, they don't deserve my business.
