It’s quite remarkable to read genuine reviews here, by contrast with Trustpilot which I believe is itself simply a marketing scam. There one notices 5-star ratings are invariably at the top of the reviews, and many of them sound like ChatGPT fakes. I booked a flight from Italy to Great Britain through kiwi.com. The flight was cancelled due to technical difficulties so I missed the connecting flight from Paris. I was offered a replacement flight by the airline but this meant no onward travel until the following day. I called Kiwi customer service and they kept me on hold for 30 minutes and eventually told me to take the replacement flight and call them back at 22:30. This wasn’t acceptable because I would have ended up in the identical situation 3 hours later with no idea about hotels or time of replacement flight from Paris to Great Britain the following day. In any case Kiwi told me because I hadn’t bought a flight with guarantee I’d have to buy another ticket for the second part of the journey. From reading other reviews it’s apparent even with a guarantee the same problem arises. As well as keeping me on hold for a long time the customer service agent was and argumentative. He simply didn’t listen properly and kept repeating the information I’d given in order to find a loophole to refuse to help. No doubt what this company does is legal but all you get is a very slightly cheaper flight (however this is increased by hidden additional charges) with the probability that if something goes wrong you’ll get no help from kiwi.com.

Scam company....not too much to add to what everyone has said. Booked a flight and then had to change it, the airline returned the money to them and instead of sending me back the £555 they gave me an £8.51 credit and then fobbed me off. Called customer services, live chat and so much more for days. Fortunately I raised the dispute with my bank (Monzo) and they returned the money while they continue the dispute with Kiwi. I was naive in not checking them out before I booked because the experiences here corroborate mine. Shocking customer service designed to gaslight and mislead you like you've done something wrong while they keep your money. I didn't realize how intentional that was. Big lesson and to anyone reading, especially regarding flights, just go direct to the airline which is what I am doing going forward.

Unreliable and sneaky. They charge you extra once you lock in a price. Ended up being more than booking directly through airline. They don’t even ask for your passport number to book ticket. Airline had no information regarding my booking. DO NOT USE BEWARE

Scammers don't use them. They can't book airlines in USA unless they have permission. Both my flights never had a reservation. I had to pay an additional $118.00 to spirit airlines and I still never flew. Over a month Capital One still has not refunded my money.

Unreliable and Misleading: My Disappointing Experience with Kiwi.com I am deeply disappointed with the service provided by Kiwi.com. My recent experience with them was nothing short of frustrating and unreliable. I booked a trip from Toronto to Vancouver and then to Kelowna through Kiwi.com, with flights scheduled on April 6th. However, my troubles began when I received a notification on February 9th stating that one of my flights with Air North from Vancouver to Kelowna was canceled. Believing this information to be accurate, I requested a refund. (Note that I did not purchase the 'protection' from Kiwi.) To my dismay, I later discovered that the same Air North flight was still available for booking. It became evident that Kiwi.com had misled me into cancelling the flight unnecessarily. This discrepancy not only wasted my time but also raised serious doubts about the integrity of Kiwi.com's booking system. Furthermore, on March 7th, Kiwi.com informed me that a refund for my other flight segment with Flair Airlines from Toronto to Vancouver had been processed. Shockingly, I had not even requested a cancellation for this flight. It turns out that Kiwi.com had cancelled it on my behalf without my consent. As a result of these irresponsible actions by Kiwi.com, I lost trust in their services. Their lack of transparency and accuracy in handling bookings is unacceptable. I urge other travellers to exercise caution when booking through Kiwi.com, as my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare.

Flight was cancelled, I had to keep pushing them to pursue full refund (only wanted to offer a small percentage initially, or 'Kiwi Credit'. Eventually received 75% of flight cost, when I was entitled to whole amount, but Kiwi just said 'that is all they sent us', and won't pursue the rest. Customer service was a nightmare throughout, with countless representatives taking over randomly, meaning I continually had to keep explaining situation. Will never book through Kiwi again.

A Cautionary Tale of Disappointment with Kiwi.com If I could give zero stars, I would. Our family's ordeal with Kiwi.com has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share our story to caution others. Imagine the excitement of planning a trip, only to have it crumble before your eyes. This was our reality when Kiwi.com incorrectly booked our family flight a whole month early, a mistake we discovered only at the airport. Picture the scene: two small children, aged 1.5 and 3.5, bewildered and restless, as their parents grapple with the shock and scramble to find a solution. Kiwi.com's solution? A convoluted alternative that turned our direct journey into an arduous trek with an unnecessary layover and an overnight wait in a cold airport. Promises were made – hotel accommodations, food vouchers – yet none materialized. There we were, a family stranded, with our children sleeping in our arms, shivering in the cold, their comfort and safety compromised. The additional financial burdens, from unexpected baggage fees (promised to be refunded but never were) to out-of-pocket expenses for meals never compensated for, added insult to injury. Despite our patience and multiple attempts to seek a fair resolution, Kiwi.com's response has been disappointingly inadequate, refusing to offer any form of substantial compensation for their litany of errors and unkept promises. This experience has been emotionally and financially taxing, and the lack of accountability from Kiwi.com has only added to our distress. Our story is a stark reminder of the potential consequences of entrusting your travel plans to a company that may not deliver on its promises or take responsibility for its mistakes. To those considering Kiwi.com for their travel needs, I urge you to think twice. No family should have to endure what we did, and no traveler should be left feeling abandoned and undervalued. Our quest for a simple, joyful family holiday turned into a lesson in frustration and disappointment, all courtesy of Kiwi.com. Consider this not just a review, but a warning. Your travel plans, your comfort, and your finances deserve better protection than what we experienced. Choose wisely, and remember, the true cost of a trip is not just in the euros spent, but in the memories made or missed.

I regret using this website; it's a scam company. I booked a return ticket for my mother, who is over 80 years old. Unfortunately, she fell sick and was unable to travel on the departure date. I asked Kiwi if I could buy a new departure ticket and keep the return ticket, but I spent two days without any result. They said if I don't use the departure ticket, my return ticket will also be canceled. I advise against using this scam Kiwi.com.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the service provided by your company regarding a recent flight booking. Several weeks ago, I made a reservation through your platform for a flight scheduled for 13th Jan 2024 from Hyderabad to Palermo. However, to my dismay, I received a notification just 7 days before the departure date informing me that the flight had been cancelled. Understandably, this caused significant inconvenience and frustration as it disrupted my travel plans. To exacerbate the situation, despite assurances of a refund in such circumstances, I have yet to receive any indication of reimbursement for the cancelled flight. This lack of communication and failure to provide the promised refund is completely unacceptable. As a customer, I expect transparency and reliability from the services I use. Unfortunately, your company has failed to meet these basic expectations. Not only was my flight cancelled without adequate notice, but the subsequent handling of the situation has been nothing short of negligent. I urge you to rectify this situation immediately by processing the refund owed to me without further delay. Additionally, I strongly advise your company to review and improve its policies and procedures for handling flight cancellations to ensure that other customers do not experience similar frustration and inconvenience in the future. Furthermore, the customer service I encountered was less than satisfactory. When I reached out to address my concerns and inquire about a possible resolution, the response I received was slow and unhelpful. It seemed as though my issues were not taken seriously, and I was left feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer. Overall, my experience with your company has been extremely disappointing. I had high hopes based on your reputation and marketing, but unfortunately, those expectations were not met. I regret having chosen your product/service and will not be recommending it to others. I sincerely hope for a prompt resolution to this matter.

I recently had the misfortune of booking my flights through Kiwi.com, and it was a nightmare from start to finish. Several months before my scheduled trip, I received an email informing me that my flights had been canceled with no explanation whatsoever. To make matters worse, Kiwi.com provided no alternative options except for booking entirely new flights at my own expense or waiting for a refund. Opting for the refund seemed like the logical choice, but little did I know that it would take a whopping six months to process! Initially, Kiwi.com assured me that the refund would be completed within 90 days and that I would receive 80-90% of my flight costs back. However, this turned out to be a blatant lie. Throughout the refund process, the customer service was abysmal. It felt like I was talking to a bot, as each response was generic and unhelpful. It became increasingly clear that Kiwi.com had no intention of providing satisfactory assistance or communication. To add insult to injury, I later discovered that when Kiwi.com requests a refund from the airlines, they only request the tax back, not the actual value of the tickets. This was confirmed by the airlines themselves, leaving me feeling deceived and cheated. Overall, my experience with Kiwi.com was nothing short of a disaster, and I will never be using their services again. Save yourself the headache and book your flights elsewhere.

Roll the dice but don’t expect any support. Constant crashes had me booking a ticket through an airline costing me 8 times more. Not worth it.

The worst provider ever. I will never do the same mistake . I have made a multiply booking with Flexi Insurance, At the beginning, I spent 45' on a call to understand why my booking reference is not recognised from AIR ASIA (5 fligyht was all under same air company) Air Asia rescheduled the flight by 5 hours without notice (and in fact, it wasn't the flight that was rescheduled; they just kicked some passengers out of the flight-perhaps because someone paud more for the same flight)and I received an email for another flight with different flight number with 5 hours later from my scheduled one and I have no right to change or reschedule my flight than to walk in the airport at Air Asia counter The booking reference wasn't recognised by AirAsia or their KIWI app when I finally created an account and logged in!!!! And wasn't editable either to add on luggage, etc. It was just like it didn't exist as booking I fell sick in the middle of the trip, and they didn't reschedule my flight .Their response was that KIWI.com is not responsible for health issues . Honestly, it Sucks from every aspect: communication, customer service , price , application . After this experience, I will really think a lot before I book even Air Asia flights . To book through KiWI not even a chance I don't understand the extra money that I paid for Flexi ticket if is only to change it before the first departure NEVER AGAIN

One of my four flights had free check in baggage and there was no option at the time of booking to add bags on separately to flights. This was not made clear on the website (or I would’ve either not booked with kiwi or upgraded my fare tariff). I am now being charge €130 to put a 15kg bag, of which €30 is their fee. Ludicrous situation if their website is unable to offer bags for separate flights. I’ll never book with them again, far better to book with the airline directly.

I needed to add another email. You would imagine this to be a simple task ? I tried for days everything that the FAQ's and chatbots suggested. None worked. All I got were circular suggestions and advice to swap from either FAQ to chatbot and vica versa. I needed to speak to a human to sort this simple problem out. My trips showed that I had none - though I had paid for one. Thus I could not check in. It was absolutely impossible to talk to a human. I will never use kiwi again !

Kiwi is one of the worst companies I have ever delt with! They used credentials other than mine, got me stranded in the Las Vegas airport for four days! I was treated like a criminal I have never been so humiliated in My life! The level of dishonesty is unbelievable. They offered me a $20 voucher for future travel seriously? I pray nobody else gets this kind of treatment for trusting a business. They need to be put out of business

DO NOT BOOK with these people. They are thieves and scammers. They added a random flight to Bangladesh at the end of my trip claiming I chose a “hidden city” feature and it was NEVER communicated to me. I spoke to them but no resolve, and at the airport they wouldn’t let me board the flight because of that trip and not having a visa! It was an absolute mess! I have been on the phone for hours and no refund or support, they just wanted to take my money and strand me at the airport. This feature did not save me money, it cost me 3x more - this is not cost-saving. At the airport I heard countless stories of them doing the same to others and all the airline staff refer to them as “the scam site”. STAY AWAY!!!
