I ordered this couch almost 6 months ago from the Leons in Whitby near the 401 and still have not received it yet. Me and my family have been Loyal customers to Leons for over 20 years. I am so disappointed in Leons as they have done NOTHING to rectify our issue. This has been causing issues Im my family life as we have a New born and no place to sit and care for her as we have been lying on the floor for the last 6 months. I really hope something can be done to help rectify our issue

Extremely poor customer service for long time repeat customer. One of the worst conditions we have seen a company ever deliver a brand-new product for. Additionally, they would not honour their return/refund policy when the product was purchased on a Monday, delivered same week Wednesday and we immediately called same day delivery. They advised that once the product is taken out of the box it is non-returnable, yet their delivery agents removed it from the box without consent. They then advised that is standard, wait I am confused if you mentioned out of the box policy but it’s standard you remove it this seems contradictory. We were told to go to the manufacturer and have a repair serviceman come out. Can you believe that, spend over $1,800+ on a new product and have a company deliver it and wash their hands with it and tell the customer to spend more time dealing with a 3rd party that wasn’t involved in the initial transaction. Do not trust their Term & Conditions and if you call say as little as possible as they will manipulate the situation and falsify information. They sent 4 pictures, one of which was our own and the only one of the product, the other 3 were actually only of the box and different angles with no product visible, just cardboard. They said the damage could not be from delivery based on “their pictures” ha-ha it was pictures of a box, I can’t even make this stuff up. We used to be loyal customers but in the past few years their business has gone down hill, they are not even the most competitive on pricing anymore and won’t price match. We highly recommend taking your business elsewhere like Trail Appliances, Canadian Appliances, Lowes, Home Depot, or anywhere but Leon’s. We thank you though for the new “VIP” service (sarcasm) must stand for “Value isn’t Priority”

I will never ever set foot inside another Leon's furniture for the rest of my life. The service or should I say, the lack thereof is quite evident. Got a problem with furniture you purchased 6 mos ago that was finally delivered, you are on your own if there are deficiencies. The Edmonton south-side store customer service line is rarely answered. It will go to voicemail, where they promise to get back to you.....except they never do. What I have determined is, that the "Leon Family" that owns and operates this furniture outlet, has no concern whatsoever that the garbage that is manufactured in third world countries, shipped to Canada directly to the customer. The merchandise that enters the country obviously is not quality controlled nor checked. When it arrives in the customer's home in a deficient state, it becomes the customer's problem, not theirs. When our king size bed frame came with the improper sized mattress frame supports, our sales person suggested that we simply lay our brand new mattress on the floor and wait for the proper parts to arrive. When??? they couldn't give me a definite answer. Even to suggest to SLEEP ON THE FLOOR....give me a break, we aren't 20 year old kids moving into an apartment for the first time. We are still waiting for a replacement nightstand that was ordered in Aug 2022 and arrived Jan 10 2023, oh, and by the way, one of the night tables that was shipped directly from Malaysia, arrived broken. They promised a new replacement will arrive in Apr 2023, eight months after the initial purchase. Not holding my breath that this will actually happen. I asked to speak to the store manager, he wasn't available. I asked for him to call me and discuss the circumstance. I'm still waiting for that call to happen. It appears to me that the Leon Family who owns and runs this joke of a business care not about the customer, only how much garbage they can sell to unsuspecting customers that they profit dearly from. So long Leon's, it hasn't been a pleasure doing business with you. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT GO TO LEON'S TO PURCHASE ANYTHING.

If I could give a lower rating that 1 star, I would've. I would never ever do business with this store again or recommend my friends and family to do any business with them. On Janaury 3, 2022 I went to the Leon's store in Whitby, the sales associate that assisted me was Ali. Now I bought several appliances and furniture. Ali told me that the stove would take two weeks for them to get the stove since it's not in stock at that store. Two weeks seemed fine so I agreed. After the time passed I called the store. Initially, Ali told me that the truck was full so the stove was left behind. As stupid as that excuse was, I accepted it. Wednesday January 25, 2023, I called again and enquired about the date that the stove will be delivered. Ali then made arrangements for the stove to be delivered on Friday January 27, 2023. On Friday January 27, 2023 the delivery team came to the house , they were from the Scarborough store, the delivery guy took the stove out of the truck. He came inside the house and knocked his snow filled shoes in the house. My husband simple said to him that he could've knocked the shoes off outside. The delivery guy then said oh, next time clean your driveway. He took the stove back to the truck. I've been patiently waiting for this stove for almost 4 weeks living off uber eats and doordash for this man to bring the stove to my house and went away with it. To say that I was furious was an understatement. Anyways, I called the Scarborough store the supervisor in charge of delivery basically told me that the stove was not delivered because of the snow on the drive way which was a lie. The house is a newly built house, at the moment the driveway is unpaved. So the cleaning of the snow will not be perfect. That's beside the point because the man had already removed the stove from the truck and made it to the front door. He went on to tell me that he could have it delivered tomorrow. I called the Whitby store since they were the one that I gave my money to, I was on the phone waiting for a long time before a woman who identified herself as a supervisor came on the phone. She too had the same story about snow on the drive way blah blah. I tried to explain to her, she said I should calm down, so I calmed down and spoke soflty and slowly and the lady proceeded to laugh at me. I asked her what was so funny she said its how you're talking. I was appalled that a person in that capacity could behave in such an unprofessional manner. Now I got real upset and asked for a refund. I hope that the money will be return to my card within 3-5 business days so I don't have to call them again.

Only put one star because you can’t put zero. Buyer beware, no refunds, the customer service sucks that’s when they get back to you. All I can say is I will NEVER a buy anything from them again

Never buy anything from Leon's. Very bad experience. Nobody told you that all sales were final before you placed order. No return, no exchange, no store credit. Nobody returned your email or calls, very bad company.

They give the false promises of delivering the furniture within two weeks and they won’t deliver it for 3 weeks .ultimately I had to cancel it after 3 weeks of waiting for my furniture

Bought a brand new 75 inch TV on black Friday and when I got home, it didn't work and they won't let me return it or exchange it! When I contacted the extended warranty people, they told me to go deal with Leons! So no tv for us to watch our Christmas movies or the Santa tracker! Disgusting 😭 No tv for Christmas! #leons #leonskelowna

As a new comer I bought all my home furnitures from Leons and wasted a lot of money on them! the dining table drawer and dresser were peeled after less that two months! the dining chairs were never fixed because the holes were not alined. The box spring made noisy after three months! The worse thing about this company is that nobody is responsible as a customer service after they sold furnitures! Nobody!! This is my first awful experience I've ever had with purchasing furniture!

Extremely poor customer service and unehical behaviour from the Leons Richmond Hill Ontario Store Rep and Manager. I have paid for a mattress online and also paid for the Old Mattress disposal service online. The delivery guys delivered the mattress today but refused to take up the old mattress since its not wrapped. They told me that I was supposed to pickup the old Mattress cover and wrapped it and I should call the store. Richmond Hill manager refused to talk and the sales rep was not helpful at all. Totally unprofessional behaviour. Since its an online purcahse, Leons should provide every thing needed for a successful transaction and delivery (Note: they specially called me for this additional purchase of mattress protector after online purchase of mattress and told me that they cannot honor the warranty unless I buy a Cover from them) which was after the the online purcahse of mattress. Its just like trapping someone. Very dissapointed with leans. Definately my and my family last purcahse with them. I will advise not to do online purchases with Leons, specially Richmond Hill Ontario Store

Dishonest about length of time to receive furniture. We were ok with waiting 3 months, now it's been 6 months with the delivery date getting pushed back monthly! If they were honest at the beginning, would have chose a different style or went somewhere else!

I bought a washer dealered on one Tues broke the next. The do not stand behind there products. I could see if it was a few months but one week. They need to have at least a 30 to 60 day return. This was leons fredericton NB. The worst place to buy anything. All they want is your money. ONE WEEK SHOULD OF TAKEN IT BACK AND THEY FIGHT WITH THE MANUFACTURER. But they don't care they got my 900 dollars. If they don't believe in the products don't sell them. Now on my 3 week no washing machine. Was going to replace all my appliances. Will not be going to Leon's. Going to try the Brick instead. I should of read the reviews first. But I did reliase they went so down hill in the 20 years. (The last time I bought new appliances). Will make sure to tell all my friends and family. They only good thing I have to say is the delivery guys were nice.

This was a second delivery. The First time some parts were missing. This time I made a request to check if everything is there and my request was denied. Worst service I ever had. Will make Leon's a last choice to buy.

YOU WILL HATE YOURSELF FOR SHOPPING LEONS NORTH EDMONTON Purchased Dresser chest of drawers two night stands at delivery the delivery staff canceled damage to shipping box of dresser placed in room in position to hide damaged shipping box base that had wood framing protruding 2 inches. Leons is so deceitful as a company they don't have delivery invoice for customer to respond if product in complete and free of damage upon delivery so NO RECORD of damage broken or missing product. Very dishonest unskilled no knowledge customer service agent name PRESIOUS, ask for anybody but this employee as she will promise something but not fulfill promises and do opposite. DO NOT SHOP LEONS NO COMMUNICATION OTHER THEN PHONE to leave no traceable or trackable information within todays technology as use in showing the Complete Failure of LEONS FURNITURE as the WHOLE COMPANY full of dishonest personal. LEONS EMPLOEES are persons of no integrity and no morals DO NOT PLEASE DO NOT Put yourself through YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE SHOPPING AT LEONS FURNITURE Edmonton North. LIES and DECEITFUL!! Experience dealing with Shipping Delivery and CUSTOMER SERVICE. LEONS Furniture is second rate as all product is damaged, defective, and NO Documents to Record shipping, commitment dates, Problems with product. Worst customer service. For heaven sake, please don’t buy from this shop. I purchased a dining set on June 20 for 2000 dollars and when they delivered the product, We got to know that one of the chair was damaged and we raised a ticket for chair replacement. We tried calling them ( 12 to 15 calls) and we also visited the shop 3 times but no positive response. Now it’s been 5months still we are waiting for the chair replacement .We also added a 5 year protection plan along with the purchase but they are not willing to extend that not even for 2 months. I have all the call recording details

WARNING: do not buy the extended warranty, Leons does not honor it. They instead send it off to another company which is located in the US and say they will e-mail them for you and you never hear from them. And when you call Leons you get a very rude person or persons telling you that they are not the warranty holders and have nothing to do with the warranty.. So my question is why are Leons taking the money for the extended warranty and giving you the run around..

I bought 2 bed sets for my kids on July 31, 2022. Both beds have some issues and I reported them immediately. Now it is more than two months and issues are still there. All staff members are arguing with me instead of resolving the issues. So, I would recommend all new buyers before buying any thing from Leon's McLaughlin and Bovaird location. Otherwise you will loose your money and time like me. Be careful.
