I have tried so hard to love my squishmeisters-they look so stunning on line and in photos but so uncomfortable IRL with no support whatsoever and I m constantly trying to fluff up the cushions to make them look halfway decent.Like another reviewer I end up sitting on the floor.Sadly a very expensive mistake.

Absolutely terrible service. I am pregnant have a child and a new puppy, we dismantled our bed ready for our new one and paid for assembly. Ok the Delievry day we’re told they only had one box of two, and the other would be with us by the end of the day and they’d assemble it. It got to near 5 o clock and thinking it was near tea/ bath/ bed time for my child I was getting worried. No one was coming . They didn’t knew where the rest of the bed was. We were promised a call back, which never came, and the next day we didn’t. We have had to chase this , with no one keeping informed. After taking two days to communicate with the logistics company that they didn’t have it, they said they’d send by courier the rest and it would arrive the following Friday. Was offered 10% off the bed price ( when you pay £1500 you don’t expect this service) but we would have to assemble this heavy oak bed which we’d paid Delievry and assembly for. So we actually got less than 10% back but we just wanted a bed! Again they’d misinformed us and actually we had to book a Delievry in. This took a further 5 days. By now we’re getting quite annoyed at the lack of competence , lack of bed, loss of earnings for time off taken to be in for Delievry and putting a borrowed bed together and taking it apart to then put it back together , when your heavily pregnant this isn’t ideal! It isn’t ideal at any time. We’ve again had to get in contact and say we’re missing bits of the bed ! And promised a call back… low and behold no call back tonight. Seriously !

Loaf should be embarrassed at their level of customer service. It took 4 months for a set of dining chairs to arrive - leaving us with the table we ordered but no chairs to sit on, after much chasing, the chairs finally arrived, dumped on our doorstep by parcel force with a mountain of packaging that we have to get rid of. We unpacked the chairs to find one is so badly damaged we can’t actually use it. We have now been told it’s another two month wait for a replacement. We spent close to £2000 with Loaf and as compensation have been offered a pathetic £120. I wish I had never ordered with Loaf and never will again.

Bed delivered with great big crack in it. Made in Vietnam not the U.K., according to delivery men. I won’t be ordering a replacement.

Today was the day our furniture was delivered after some delays. We were expecting to receive a chair, a footstool and a bed in a bun. The chair arrived fine and looks lovely but they have failed to deliver the bed in a bun for the second time and the footstool is a different colour and style from that we ordered. We paid for the split shipment so we could get the bed earlier and now it is still not here and we have to wait another 8 weeks. Just like last time, nobody thought to call us to let us know. Regarding the footstool, we are assuming it will need to be replaced so we are expecting another long lead time for this too. If you are thinking of buying a premium product and expect to receive good service and quality goods then I suggest purchasing from a different company. At this price point you would expect some level of customer service and, at a minimum, the correct products. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

As Public Enemy would say, Don't believe the hype. We were happy enough to wait 12 weeks for the sofa (COVID and all that stuff) but when it arrived it was no end of problems. The delivery drivers didn't wear masks, didn't social distance, effed and jeffed most of the time they were here because it was a tricky delivery and the last of their day. We paid extra for removable arms, clearly stating to both Loaf & Wincanton that they'd need to be removed to get the sofa in. Arrived not removed, tried to force it through the door damaging door frame and sofa. Loaf also supplied short legs despite us having paid for long legs We waited 2 months for long legs, only for one to arrive split and uneven. The sofa is actually comfortable for the best part of £2500 the service has been utterly rubbish. Customer service takes an age to respond to any email and if it wasn't so hard to find a replacement it would have already gone back. Also because most of the issues are to do with the delivery there's a lot of "It's not our fault, it's Wincanton" back and forth, despite of course our contract being with Loaf, not with Wincanton. The reality certainly does not match the website, sales experience, and all very jolly stock email bants.

Just don't do it. Don't want to be writing a bad review - Loaf looks so good on paper - but unfortunately we've had a really bad experience. We ordered a bed that took months to arrive as it 'got lost' in the post due to the cashier sending our king size bed as a 'small package'. I spend (no exaggeration) tens of hours on the phone to Loaf sorting this out, as no one in the customer service team seemed to know what was happening. The bed finally arrived after months of sleeping on the floor. We then made the mistake of ordering a headboard from Loaf too. I specified on the phone at point of purchase that the headboard was for a matching base. The team confirmed this would be no problem. It took months for the headboard to come (which is OK because that was the specified time frame) but it's just arrived and won't fit on the frame as the bolts are too short. In short - Loaf is expensive, takes ages to come, and simply isn't worth the stress. Just don't do it.

Shocking company with below par products and terrible customer service. Worst experience ever. Had to wait 5 months for my bed in a bun. It arrived damaged and not well made given the price. I will never order from loaf ever again.

Disgraceful delivery service, the rudest, and incapable, delivery drivers ever encountered (left me standing in the rain for waiting for them to update me as they said they couldn’t delivery to my lane so they needed to talk to head office (despite massive lorries being able to get up and down it perfectly fine), they then drove away right in front of me as I was soaked through without giving me said updat! I was standing right there infront of them-spineless men. Then the re arrangement of the delivery in a smaller van had not arrived within the timeframe and I’m still waiting for some form of update. Another day wasted. Another 2 weeks of having nothing to sit on, and we still don’t know when it’s supposed to arrive. Will it ever? Will never buy another product from loaf again, and will advise none of my friends or family do either. Very disappointing.

Terrible build quality. We have four Milk stools - 2 years old that are falling to pieces. We have realised they have been constructed with scrap pieces of wood held together with staples. I’ve called and complained, sent pictures and 1 week later have had no response. Really disappointing all round. I’ve just realised how pathetic their furniture guarantees are...bearing in mind Aldi offer three years on their beds! Loaf will only guarantee their stools for 2 years. Says a lot about their ‘good old fashioned craftsmanship.

I took delivery of our order for the king size mirabelle bed and on unwrapping it we are very disappointed that it is damaged and chipped. This complaint follows your disappointing sales service whereby it was delayed and your team have been unable to be contacted and extremely unhelpful. I have been waiting on the phone to get through now and I am getting no where. It has been answered and yet there is no response.

Having double checked access dimensions with loaf in advance by phone, we waited the circa 14 weeks for our sofa to be made. We paid for our old sofa to be removed. Loaf advised that excess time would be allocated in case arms needed removing from our sofa for access purposes. Wincanton loaf’s delivery partner arrived and refused to unload the sofa on account of lack of excess time being allocated. The options we were given by loaf were for me (a pregnant woman) and my husband to manoeuvre the sofa to our 2nd floor living room on our own (in which case loaf would wash their hands of the situation entirely) or have the sofa redelivered on another date. They were happy for my three year old and I to sit on the floor for weeks, lied about delivery arrangements and sought to hide behind wincanton. On the rearranged delivery date our order was cancelled, wincanton say by loaf, loaf say by wincanton and no one can tell us where the sofa is or when it is going to be delivered. Loaf have again washed their hands of the situation and have refused to speak with us since wincanton have failed to provide a new delivery date. Escalating to the team leader has been entirely fruitless. He is now engaged on the phone when we call! Horrible service. Buyer beware!

we had our sofas delivered in October, the support was terrible on the seat cushions. We were advised over the phone to take the cushion out and turn it around. When we did this the zip broke. The quality and durability on the zips is terrible not what you expect from a £4000 sofa. They offered to replace both cushions with a different filling, one arrived about 9 weeks after the original delivery it has now been 6 months and we are still waiting for the second cushion, we keep being told they are looking into this. I would not recommend this company.

Hi , We had ordered 3 Loaf Sofas and a chair few months ago . We paid in full in their Birmingham outlet. The Delivery date was arranged . We had waited for 4 months for the delivery of the goods . We were told 3 days before the delivery that they did not have the material in stock !!!!!! We were unable to contact them on phone as they NEVER answer their phone . We sent emails - the Company takes ages to answer emails . We cancelled the order and they were very reluctant to return the money which ran is several thousand pounds . I wasted more than 5 hours in telephone Calls and exchanging emails . My wife has very advanced Cancer and I am her sole Carer. She was in tears when we heard there was no Sofa .We are very disappointed with this Company. We further learnt that this Company does not manufacture any item . Loaf only outsources them from other Manufacturer near Derby. I request all Customers NEVER to buy any goods from this Company. You will REGRET ever buying anything from them . In my view such Companies should stop trading . I wrote a Complaint to their Chief Executive 4 months ago . I am still waiting for an explanation , apology and compensation for the distress caused to both of us . We are elderly vulnerable couple who are currently Shielding . Dr. R. Johri

Our 3.5k sofa arrived last night at 5.30pm. It was just left in our front room all wrapped no instructions on connecting it together. I now know they can’t put it together because of covid but they took our money. Covid didn’t stop that. We both have bad backs and it weighs a ton especially the sofa bed bit which by the way they didn’t tell us it was still wired up. Not good service. We were going to get another for one of the bedrooms but think we will look elsewhere

We received our Bagsie sofa this week. The delivery men could not have been more helpful and caring. Kept us informed all the way on the delivery time. Lovely sofa but too early to comment on it. I have noticed that the cushions need puffing up each morning which I was hoping I would not have to do.

Ordered a bed and paid £50 for the removal of the old bed (and assumed mattress as no option to select both). Called ahead of delivery to find out they wanted £50 to only remove the existing bed and I needed to dismantle before. Worst Customer experience spending a total of over an hour waiting to be answered and then being met by staff who didn't know anything.

We bought a crumpet sofa over two years ago. The cushions contained no foam which was stated in the marketing, just feathers which clumped together making it very unomfortable and ugly and a huge effort to plump up several times a day. To their credit, Loaf did replace the cushions, but one was slightly smaller than the other and the clumping problem still occured. In the end we measured up and bought good quality foam ourselves. It cost us about £150 to do this and we were nervous about getting the size right. The sofa doesn't have the nice comfy look of the advertising but it is now firm and useable.
