If you ever have cause to complain with Love Holidays, they just ignore you. No acknowledgement, nothing. I'm still awaiting a response from them since May 2020 (emailed them at 01:38 on 30/05/20). Letters have been returned or ignored that require a signature as they dont accept such correspondence. Chased numerous times. Online chat assured me that I would get a response but ignored again. ATOL advised me to set up a case with the European Commission and Love Holidays have ignored them too. This firm needs to cease trading as it is unfair that their customers have to put up with this.

Booked with these clowns , 1 holiday for July to Turkey then another holiday for Italy both cancelled due to covid , love holidays don’t keep to there word , still waiting for a refund , would never use again and definitely wouldn’t recommend

Received hotel refund within 14 days but not flight, so after 3 months went to credit card and got money back from them.IF you booked a package holiday with LH you are entitled to a full refund from them under section 75 of the consumer act by law. Go to your credit card or bank for chargeback or county court. Do it they have’nt a leg to stand on.

Loveholidays provided by far the worst experience I have ever had with any company. Virtually impossible to contact, customer service reps who disconnected when they cannot answer a question, had to fight tooth and nail to get refund through ABTA (who they have now left, be warned). Even refused letters by post. An appalling excuse of a company, you have been warned.

Aviod at all costs ! Absolute awful company, impossible to speak to anyone so have to use " live chat" . It's like a kangaroo court, they send you messages through their app to which you cannot answer, our holiday was cancelled due to Covid but I have just received this. Hello, Please be advised that we have received a response from the hotel, and they are unable to issue a refund for this booking, as the booking is non-refundable, even in the current situation. Thank you so much for your understanding. That's it, not even a credit note ! Save yourself money and hassle by booking your holiday through a reputable company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I have once again been fobbed off with lies about my flight refund. My holiday was cancelled in May and I still haven't had my flights refunded. Their customer service is a disgrace. Ryanair say they paid love holiday on 29/9 , love holidays say they haven't got the money. We had another holiday booked with on the beach.for October this year. We were emailed and refunded within 2 weeks and we had to do nothing. I really have never had such a bad service!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I have been waiting on a refund for flights, for over 4 months. I have evidence of the money being returned from the airline to Love Holidays, yet I am continually told these funds have not been returned. I have experienced the worst customer service in trying to secure my refund, so please heed this, if you are thinking of using this bunch of charlatans. Trading standards should close them down.

When I took over the case for my daughter’s refund, I was fed one lie after another. Working in the industry i quickly realised that love holiday is only a handling agent. They don’t issue tickets and have to ask their mother company for any refunds. JTA is the main company. Now love holidays left the regulator body, surely to try to avoid refunding. Only after days of waiting online and threatening with small claims court, having been given a proof of the refund by the airline, they finally refunded the flights. Advised my daughter never to use them again, but only to use one of the larger agencies who doesn’t rely on another company for admin.

We went on holiday in March, they took us to Malta, only to be told when we got there our holiday was cancelled, we had to pay 110 Euros to be locked down in a hotel room, and had to get our own flights back home. I am still trying to get my refund which has been paid in dribs and drabs, last month they refunded my credit card £276.94, only to then take it back again as an unauthorised payment!!!

The only reason it is 1 star is that there are no negative stars. No information from them and they have removed all means of contacting them. I am not hopeful of getting any refund. Will never book with them again whatever the incentives

Book holiday was downgraded due to COVID, promised a refund of the difference as paid for all inclusive and got self catering. Been promised refund three times but nothing paid. Every time u finally get to speak to someone they say it will be paid in two weeks been three months still nothing. Would never use this company again

In January I paid £800+ through Love Holidays website for a holiday in June. Jet2 cancelled my flight and paid me the money they took from my acct in full, they are a good company. This left me still being owed £95.68 from the money that Love Holidays took from my acct. Love Holidays then refunded me £15.00 and so far have given many excuses why they will not pay me the remaining £85.68 they still owe me. The bottom line is they took money for something they cannot give me so by law they owe me that amount in full. They ignored all my Emails I can’t contact them by phone. Chat line was useless and no help. I am going for Chargeback From my Bank. Please do not use this company.

Had an awful experience with loveholidays, tried to call regarding holiday effected by covid - advised not taking calls by an operator and had to do live chat wasted two hours and got no where, the staff on chat George and Olivia were rude and lacked empathy to the situation - told me they couldn’t issue a credit note or refund or any help at all to amend the holiday most unhelpful and bad experience ever with a travel operator avoid at all costs!

I have rebooked a holiday in august 2020 using a credit note refund from Loveholidays. However, the holiday has been cancelled, and to date, I keep chasing this company to give me a cash refund. I am the one always chasing them, and they don't make any effort to communicate at least via email to keep me updated about my refund. They keep saying that they have to wait for the hotel to refund the money. Guess what? That's not my concern. You have to refund my money and not the third party as I have booked through you. I don't want to hear again of Loveholidays, don't even think to book with them at all. They don't have even a phone number to be contacted. Loveholidays are in breach of contract as they have not provided a refund within 14 days of cancellation.

Loveholidays did not carry out my request to cancel 2 of my party, saying they would have to cancel and rebook the holiday and the hotel may not be available, but we needed it cancelled in order to claim a refund, they said as we never contacted them they assumed we were happy with that, not true I tried contacting them but coukd not, I made the request they should not assume anything, I stand to lose £1000 terrible customer care

Same as most on here. Waiting for flight money refund. Ryanair transcript says it was sent via chargeback to Loveholidays on 29 Sept, yet Loveholidays deny having it. They trading by using money that is not theirs by holiding on to refunds given back to them and not passing it on. They write their own fake reviews to counterbalance the bad genuine ones. Not a company. Just liars, thieves. The CEO is a crook, spending your money. Scum

Me and a group of friends booked a trip to Benidorm for the 20/04/2020 which was subsequently cancelled due to Covid-19. We paid approx £2100.00 overall. Love Holidays proved literally impossible to get hold of, their lines have been closed and the only form of contact was via email or live chat (the live chat hasn't once been available and their email responses are just generic and give no indication on when we should expect our refund). After about 5 months we received a refund of approx £490.00 (which i believe was for the flights). It has now been nearly 8 months and we are still owed £1610.00 and are still no closer to receiving this. I appreciate the company will be busy with thousands of customers seeking refunds, but i know plenty of friends and family who booked though other companies and had their holiday cancelled for the same reason and had their refunds within a month or two. The company are a shambles to be honest. Our holiday was booked for April and we're now almost in November with no refund. (apart from flights).
