I am stunned that my order of six pairs of cotton knickers arrived with six plastic hangers. How on earth is M&S still doing that? Does anyone keep their knickers on hangers? How can M&S continue to contribute to plastic pollution in this way? These hangers are useless, ridiculous, and betray an appalling lack of consideration for corporate environmental responsibility. Putting the onus on the consumer to return these crappy hangers in-store is unethical and preposterous.

My 15 year old daughter just bit into a staple is a philly steak out pizza and I am beyond disappointed and not to mention freaked out! It's a staple! this could have ended very badly! This was my first time and now my last buying pizza from M&S because I dont want having staple worries while chewing my foods especially if I had served this to younger kids. M&S This needs to be looked into..I still have the packaging so a follow up would be much appreciated especially on how you would make sure this does not happen again!

I ordered two large cheesecakes for my sons 21st. Received an email and a text to confirm that they were ready for collection. When I went to the store they advised me they hadn’t been delivered and suggested I could have some of their cheesecake slices instead. I explained that it was for my sons 21st and slices wouldn’t work. They didn’t care just said we will give you a refund. Nothing I could do at 5.30 pm on a Saturday afternoon. So much for customer service.

Why are we subjected to miniature “ toys “ in the food hall ? This experiment must have cost many thousands of pounds to “roll out “ plus advertising. How thoughtless when many loyal staff have lost their jobs due to store closures. Due to lack of money ?

Sack your marketing director! Your sales promotion of little plastic products aimed at kids is offensive. You rely on your lofty environmental policy that frankly never really results in the reduction of single use plastic in store. It still remains impossible to buy products for a meal without taking home more single use plastic than food. Enough is enough, I'm taking my 20 years of M&S loyalty and £7,000 annual food spend to a more ethical retailer. Your attempt in the media to justify your promotion is sickening. Utter disgrace!

I purchased two crab and prawn cakes from west Bridgford store deli counter they looked delicious and at £3.70 each not the cheapest all I can say is avoid at all cost NO flavour what so ever in fact a ball of flavourless mush in breadcrumbs will not be shopping in the food hall again M&S used to have such high standards you could always rely on whatever you purchased would be top notch but not anymore sorry M&S you have lost the plot and customers

Extreamly poor. Customer service is a joke as you cant get anyone to take responsibility for non-exsistant customer service. I'd award them 0 but the system only goes down to 1 - that's how bad I feel I have been treated.

Awful “costumer services”. They couldn’t bothered to switch a t-shirt that was £9.50 which had oil on it and WASN’T clearly labelled oil. Never shopping in this shop again!

Purchased a £5 Plant Kitchen, Roasted Mushroom Stroganoff [ 2 x 2 portions] It was cooked as instructed but when plated it looked dreadful, had avery unpleaseant odour and tasted as bad as it appeared. The cauilflower rice was "differet" to say the least. Four portions weighing 1.4 kg in total went straight into the food recycling bin. Surely the tasting panel of M & S can do much better?

Just received a My Little Shop collectible having spent over £20 in store to qualify. It’s a dummy pack of M&S salted popcorn which is 5cm x 4cm. The collector’s card that comes with it tells me M&S have reduced the packaging on their popcorn by decreasing the amount of air in the bags. Reduce the cost of packaging, but keep the product cost the same. Simple economics. M&S however see this as a ‘save the planet’ measure. The nutrition information on the back of the pack, which could actually be of educational value to their target audience (children) is microscopic and totally illegible. There are 25 to collect so you’d have to spend over £500 to get them all, assuming no duplicates. M&S suggest there will be a swap facility, but that seems more trouble than it’s worth. The collector box will cost you £3, and you can buy mini trolleys, baskets and an apron which the cashier said were £10 each. I certainly won’t be adding to the collection.

I had lunch with my daughter in the Hastings branch on Sunday. After receiving the food I had to ask for my change but had to wait until they served the next customer to open the till. I was asked how much I was due and truthfully replied 10p. I could have said any amount as she did not check the till receipt. When I mentioned I did not receive a receipt I was told they only gave receipts if asked as they are cutting back on the use of paper. May I suggest you cut back on paper use some other way as a customer has no proof if they have received the correct amount. Also no one apologised for the error

4th Quiche I have bought from Marks and Spencer, that is raw in the middle. This is a health concern as I like to eat cold Quiche. Raw egg is not my idea of a nice lunch.

Meal deal slow cooked peppered beef. Opened packet needed a magnifying glass. This is beyond a joke M&S. Would have taken it back but live 8 miles away. Good job I had a lot of vegetables to bulk up the meal as not enough for 1 person never mind saying it’s for 2. Advice don’t waste your money, the meal deals used to be good value, but over the last few months, portion size has been reduced significantly.

my wife was falsely accused of theft by the duty manager and was told to leave the premises and then to add insult was told she was barred from the town centre. The duty manager was very rude and refused my wifes offer to call the police to sort the matter out .MY wife at this point was very distressed and in tears but was then told again to leave even when she showed her goods and matching receipt . she is totally distraught and humiliated

This morning I was racially profiled by a member of your staff, Elizbieta Mahmud, in front of my 13 year old daughter and a large crowd of other shoppers. I have shopped at Marks and Spencer for around 30 years and I am a well dressed black woman from an academic background. I inform you of this as I do not want my being accused of shop lifting in your store to be explained under any other heading than racial profiling. At 9:57 I was walking out of your store with my shopping and daughter when Ms Mahmud chased after me and grabbed my purchased Orange Mango Press juice out of my bag. She said “you haven’t paid for that,” in an angry voice. I said “yes I have” and took the juice out of her hand. She did not ask for a receipt but I walked with her back to the till and she called a manager who confirmed the purchase. It was clear that this was not the outcome that she intended as she walked away without recognising her mistake. I then asked Ms Mahmud to come and see the receipt, to which she rudely refused. She did not apologies or recognise her mistake and I left the store feeling humiliated and angry. After a few minutes to collect my thoughts, I returned and asked the security guard if I could see the manager, I told the manager and his colleague that I had been racially profiled and asked to be given the staff members name. He was very apologetic but this does not leave me feeling any less aggrieved. I feel that Ms Mahmud should be trained in how to deal with customers and also how to spot a shoplifter from a regular customer. I am sure that this experience will stay in the mind of my daughter and myself for a long time and regret that it happened in a shop that we visit consistently throughout the week. Whilst I understand that diversity training cannot fully remove instances of racial profiling, I do think that for this member of staff it would be beneficial and hope that Marks and Spencer will take action to provide this for Ms Mahmud.

Tuesday 19th June the coffee shop in the Central Milton Keynes store, I had to wait 20 minutes in the queue for two cups of coffee. There was only one station open and none of the staff seemed to notice that there was an issue, there was no apology when I was finally served and there was a lot of chit chat going on behind the counter. I only put up with it because I had my 89 yr old mother with me who likes her M&S coffee when I take her shopping. It is a popular café and I normally don't mind a few minutes queing but this was very disappointing.
