Awful “costumer services”. They couldn’t bothered to switch a t-shirt that was £9.50 which had oil on it and WASN’T clearly labelled oil. Never shopping in this shop again!

Purchased a £5 Plant Kitchen, Roasted Mushroom Stroganoff [ 2 x 2 portions] It was cooked as instructed but when plated it looked dreadful, had avery unpleaseant odour and tasted as bad as it appeared. The cauilflower rice was "differet" to say the least. Four portions weighing 1.4 kg in total went straight into the food recycling bin. Surely the tasting panel of M & S can do much better?

Just received a My Little Shop collectible having spent over £20 in store to qualify. It’s a dummy pack of M&S salted popcorn which is 5cm x 4cm. The collector’s card that comes with it tells me M&S have reduced the packaging on their popcorn by decreasing the amount of air in the bags. Reduce the cost of packaging, but keep the product cost the same. Simple economics. M&S however see this as a ‘save the planet’ measure. The nutrition information on the back of the pack, which could actually be of educational value to their target audience (children) is microscopic and totally illegible. There are 25 to collect so you’d have to spend over £500 to get them all, assuming no duplicates. M&S suggest there will be a swap facility, but that seems more trouble than it’s worth. The collector box will cost you £3, and you can buy mini trolleys, baskets and an apron which the cashier said were £10 each. I certainly won’t be adding to the collection.

I had lunch with my daughter in the Hastings branch on Sunday. After receiving the food I had to ask for my change but had to wait until they served the next customer to open the till. I was asked how much I was due and truthfully replied 10p. I could have said any amount as she did not check the till receipt. When I mentioned I did not receive a receipt I was told they only gave receipts if asked as they are cutting back on the use of paper. May I suggest you cut back on paper use some other way as a customer has no proof if they have received the correct amount. Also no one apologised for the error

4th Quiche I have bought from Marks and Spencer, that is raw in the middle. This is a health concern as I like to eat cold Quiche. Raw egg is not my idea of a nice lunch.

Meal deal slow cooked peppered beef. Opened packet needed a magnifying glass. This is beyond a joke M&S. Would have taken it back but live 8 miles away. Good job I had a lot of vegetables to bulk up the meal as not enough for 1 person never mind saying it’s for 2. Advice don’t waste your money, the meal deals used to be good value, but over the last few months, portion size has been reduced significantly.

my wife was falsely accused of theft by the duty manager and was told to leave the premises and then to add insult was told she was barred from the town centre. The duty manager was very rude and refused my wifes offer to call the police to sort the matter out .MY wife at this point was very distressed and in tears but was then told again to leave even when she showed her goods and matching receipt . she is totally distraught and humiliated

This morning I was racially profiled by a member of your staff, Elizbieta Mahmud, in front of my 13 year old daughter and a large crowd of other shoppers. I have shopped at Marks and Spencer for around 30 years and I am a well dressed black woman from an academic background. I inform you of this as I do not want my being accused of shop lifting in your store to be explained under any other heading than racial profiling. At 9:57 I was walking out of your store with my shopping and daughter when Ms Mahmud chased after me and grabbed my purchased Orange Mango Press juice out of my bag. She said “you haven’t paid for that,” in an angry voice. I said “yes I have” and took the juice out of her hand. She did not ask for a receipt but I walked with her back to the till and she called a manager who confirmed the purchase. It was clear that this was not the outcome that she intended as she walked away without recognising her mistake. I then asked Ms Mahmud to come and see the receipt, to which she rudely refused. She did not apologies or recognise her mistake and I left the store feeling humiliated and angry. After a few minutes to collect my thoughts, I returned and asked the security guard if I could see the manager, I told the manager and his colleague that I had been racially profiled and asked to be given the staff members name. He was very apologetic but this does not leave me feeling any less aggrieved. I feel that Ms Mahmud should be trained in how to deal with customers and also how to spot a shoplifter from a regular customer. I am sure that this experience will stay in the mind of my daughter and myself for a long time and regret that it happened in a shop that we visit consistently throughout the week. Whilst I understand that diversity training cannot fully remove instances of racial profiling, I do think that for this member of staff it would be beneficial and hope that Marks and Spencer will take action to provide this for Ms Mahmud.

Tuesday 19th June the coffee shop in the Central Milton Keynes store, I had to wait 20 minutes in the queue for two cups of coffee. There was only one station open and none of the staff seemed to notice that there was an issue, there was no apology when I was finally served and there was a lot of chit chat going on behind the counter. I only put up with it because I had my 89 yr old mother with me who likes her M&S coffee when I take her shopping. It is a popular café and I normally don't mind a few minutes queing but this was very disappointing.

M&S have gone completely barmy M&S have gone completely barmy, my wife bought me 4 pairs of trousers and they came without hangers but wrapped in endless tickets string and plastic tags and then there was the packaging. The CEO's office wrote to claim they are looking to achieve zero waste by 2025 but they have misread the script and will end up with zero customers. We had to go online to purchase some hangers from a hanger store to be delivered by courier, just imagine the carbon footprint of these trousers. We will never trade with this store again and here's hoping they hit the buffers just like Woolworth and many others. "This not just any"......................No, this is a store signing its own death warrant. Clothes without hangers !! yes they got away with the bag thing and now they are being seen as Green money grabbers but you need a customerbase to make a money grab.

I have been shopping in M&S for years, buying mainly bras and knickers, as we all know the price are quite expensive. But I never mind the price, as I liked the quality. Unfortunately, last few times, I bought some bras in different occasions and when I start using them, I felt uncomfortable, the straps were hurting my skin and the wires on the two sides were digging in my skin. I don’t think the size were not appropriate as I had measurements done in M&S shop itself. I phoned one of the branch nearer to where I live and explained the situation, the customer service assistant advised me to bring the bras in the store. I also explained to her that I didn’t have any receipts as I bought those bra and used them later as I always do when there is sales. I went in the store and the staff were quite rude and not helpful. Finally I asked to speak to a manager but the staff handed me a phone number to call. I spoke over the phone to an advisor and explained my problems. I told her that the bras were almost new and even if they did not refund me maybe they could give me a vowcher to spend in store. She then gave me an address and a reference number and said I should post the bras and write a letter. Therefore, I spent money again to post the bras(3 altogether) and wrote a letter explaining everything. To my surprise, I received a letter from the company. They returned me the bras and said they did not find any fault in the bras. The Manager said he cannot give a vowcher or do anything. I am very disappointed, I spent so much money on the bras, could not use them and paying postage again and did not receive any consideration from the company. Marks &Spencer should train their staff about being professional; why did those people to whom I spoke on the phone gave me a hope and made me waste my time and secondly the person who replied to me was not considerate. I would never lie and said the bras were hurting me. If I knew I would have taken pictures of my bruised shoulders and on my two sides where the wires were digging in my skin and sent to him. No good customer service. I will never ever shop in Marks & Spencer again and I would not encourage anyone. I am very upset and frustrated with the company’s reply. I know customers should be treated fairly and respected. I felt humiliated and hurt.

I love Gobi 65, an indian dish made with cauliflower florets covered in spicy batter and deep fried so when i saw the new plant based cauliflower popcorn advertised on TV I couldn't wait to try it. I wish i hadn't bothered, it was awful, there were minute pieces of soft overcooked cauliflower covered in far too much soggy batter that hardly crisped up at all in the oven, very disappointed and not cheap at £3 for about 10 small pieces, the only nice thing was the chilli dip that comes with it.

The worst online service I have ever experienced, being spending thousands with M&S over the years, will never purchase anything from them again, anyone reading this try other stores before purchasing from them, you can see why the stores are closing, John Lewis and other retailers are so much professional and care for the customer.

The quality, design and colour choice for womens clothing has detiorated to such a degree that I think one could find better on a market stall! Cheap linen that hangs like a sack, even before wearing, garish colours and designs that my old auntie used to wear. If M & S cannot provide any quality now, then they do not deserve any custom. Many friends , too, say they no longer shop for clothing as the quality isso poor.
