The number plate recognition was not working and caused a backlog at the gates when trying to leave

Although pre booked, too many cars and not enough spaces to accommodate demand. Excactly the same yesterday 18/10/2017 with customers parking on areas they probably should not.

Every time I pre book my parking I always encounter a problem on arriving at the exit barrier delaying my journey home

The camera that should recognise our number plate missed the first letter of our registration which meant that the problem had to be sorted out by going to the office nearby with our luggage in the rain.

Probably the worst airport I have been to anywhere in the world. Let me explain..: it would be pleasant to have a smiling face on entry to the boarding pass/passport service, it seems to be an effort by ALL who work in that section to be miserable, unwelcoming and at times very abrupt. After that experience the food and drink offering is abysmal and expensive. Bar prices are typical 5 star hotel prices but the selection of food is fast food or fast food which has been prepared and pre cooked somewhere else then re heated on your premises. That’s what it seems like?! What happened to the nice restaurant where an al a carte meal and bottle of wine could be enjoyed at your leisure before your flight?. The airport now offers an expensive pre paid lounge where you can have a drink with nuts, crisps and snacks...and a free paper to read! Whoop eee! On the return landing it always seems to be a surprise to airside staff that a plane has landed...we sat on the plane for a very uncomfortable 20mins last time whilst someone found some steps, the last 4 times, this year we have travelled we have had a similar experience not the same delay but almost! On arrival on 06/10/17 at 1am the escalator was off the chap said when I asked why.... if I had more time I would have put the barriers out so you could go round them...ok it was late at night or early morning, reason or excuse? You decide. Seriously, one of the best airports I have used this year was Southampton, they have it right.. I have been through Southampton as said, Guernsey Palma, alacante, Malaga Newcastle this year and that is the pecking order of excellence in performance... I have emailed you several times previously to state my case....and no response from you....please improve! Regards Julian Tagger

The last time was diabolical. I book medium stay parking, and when I arrived, park after park was blocked off, as full with no entry. I ended up finding a space after driving around for ages, miles away. On my return the bus was congested with people getting on and blocking the aisle for those of us wanting to get off.

This car park is ridiculously expensive, and the number-plate recognition system does not work. Rip-Off car Park !!!

When you book a car park which has an advertised 10 min collection on return to the airport from holiday that is what you should expect. We arrived back around 20.05 on the 6/10/17 and arrived at the bus stop shortly after. We notified the office we were there using the phone as requested and were told the bus would be there in 10 mins. After 15 mins we phoned again and the person on the other end told us quite rudely that it would be a further 10 to 15 mins. We pointed out that we had already waited over 15 mins and he told us to wait longer. After a total of 25 mins we phoned again...and the bus arrived. If you cannot offer the service advertised in October then don't advertise it. I have used this company two or three times a year over the last ten years. Very disappointed at the service but more so the attitude.

Nobody checked the car when arrived just took the keys and gave me a card, you used to carry out vehicle checks and mileage / fuel checks. The car settings had been changed and I can understand someone wanting to extend the leg room driver side but the passenger seat settings were also changed as were the mirrors, I will use again simply because you are closest to the terminal building but in my estimation you have gone downhill.

There are always issues of some sort. I was due to collect my car by 15th Oct at 20.00 but my ticket was rejected... there are always some issues!!!

The meet and greet was not meet and greet it is purely parking close to the airport. Was not impressed and was definitely not worth the cost

My ticket would not work at the barrier went i went to exit the car park. Had to reverse back to the admin hut - the guy in the hut was very helpful and gave me another ticket to use. Unfortunately again the ticket did not work and i had to reverse back again for another ticket. given another replacement ticket which eventually worked.

Efficient staff & clean facilities in airport, but parking was a nightmare. "Full" areas had spaces and "Spaces" areas were full, so futile drive round till I realised the trick and found a space in a full area

stayed in the long stay car park, no bus to take us to terminal had to walk but is was not far. Plane delayed on return with the car park time running out moved the car and picked my wife up who waited for the suit case. to be given a £60 fine for picking up by an eagle eyed camera operator not happy

Was dark on arrival hubby said he wud know we're it was when we come back only to relize we couldn't find it. He thought it was in A I phoned office and said was a over spill A I personally think shud get a ticket for each car park with the Letter of park that ye in . But hey ho not be the 1st or the last as there was another couple also had lost there's.

I have written good reviews before about the car park, generous parking bays, however, every single week I am unable to exit the car park with a pre booked ticket, hence my frustrated review......I am told it's because of my (private) number plate. Staggering how much money is being made not to re -invest this into the software that operates the barriers.

Great location parked in front of terminal, but a bit of hassle as the card would not open the barrier and had to reverse car to allow other cars to get through (saw another car have the same problem) while I hunted for the reference number (my name and reg should have been sufficient). Not great.

Very poor arrival procedure. ...Could NOT drop the car off at key facilities at 4.30 am as the facility was roped off. Had to park up at other side of parking area & walk over to key facility with cases before being able to process booking. THIS IS NOT WHAT I CALL MEET & GREET.
