“In the early days using Ocado, everything was great but just lately I have had more items that are not quite as fresh as I would like and everything seems to be dumped in bags in a big hurry and often squashed. It has become a more normal service rather than the excellent service I used to get.”

“Ocado is a lifesaver. I love that the website and app are so user-friendly, and you can often get delivery slots for the next day. I find the app is handy for doing my weekly shop on my morning commute. Oh, and I love the freebies that often get to thrown in! Brilliant!!”

“I very much like the fact that I receive an email with details of the shelf life of food.Sometimes substitutions which are refused are only credited back to my account when I email. Overall I am pleased with the service I get”

“Shopping with Ocado has been a revelation to me in that it arrives promptly and is brought right into my kitchen, whereas the whole process is laborious when going to a supermarket, shifting products out of the trolley onto the checkout, off the checkout into the trolley, then out of the trolley into the car and the same again when arriving home. There really is no contest! The drivers are all polite and pleasant. If ever there is a small delay in the delivery time being kept the driver makes contact which is appreciated. Also if there is a problem with a product which is rare then it is quickly remedied. The collection of bags for recycling is commendable, and altogether I find the service extremely good.”

“I like that Ocado sells a lot of niche brands. Their price-promise would be worth more if they didn't charge for delivery. The Smart-Pass is a joke unless you're shopping a LOT. There is still one day a week that I can get free delivery, but if that changed I would go elsewhere. Lastly, despite several comments your packing is rubbish... hard, heavy things in the same bag as soft things, and sometimes one thing in a bag on its own for no good reason.”

“The overall shopping experience is very good. I like that there is the option to buy Waitrose products as well as Ocado and branded goods. Sometimes there is an issue regarding the shelf life of some of the perishables, which have used by or best before dates a day or two after delivery. The use of money off vouchers and the SMART PASS membership is very helpful to someone like me who is single and on a budget.”

“I find shopping at Ocado by far the easiest of all the supermarkets I have tried so far. I like the no quibble money back if any items are unsatisfactory. The drivers in my experience are always friendly and helpful. The quality of food and the variety is very good and even better when offers are added.”

“Excellent produces always very fresh. Good options on d/y the staff that d/y are always very friendly and professional . Would and have recommended to friends of the good value of online shopping . Reusable bags always collected so no plastic bags. All in all fantastic shopping experience thank you .”

“I have been having deliveries from Ocado for many years and cannot find any faults, the drivers are always courteous and if late always ring to apologise, the sell by dates are never a problem and if I need a refund due to an accident in one of the bags it is given to me. The range of goods are amazing. Keep up the good work!!”

“There are better things to do in life than fight your way round a supermarket and haul all your stuff in and out of your car. Food shop now takes 10 minutes sat on the sofa with a cup of tea. Or a glass of wine! I cannot fault Ocado in any way. Drivers are always on time, helpful and polite. Occasionally they even call you up to see if they can deliver earlier than you booked but if you're not home yet it's always fine with them. I think in 12 months I have only had one damaged item. A quick phone call and you get a sincere sounding apology from a real person, a refund plus a voucher to spend on your next shop. Substitutions for items they have run out of is very very rare and usually quite good any ways, unlike feedback I get from friends who use other supermarket delivery services.”

“Used other supermarket deliveries in past but was not impressed with quality of goods & amount of substitutions I was getting. Ocado is by far best with quality products, a good range & very few substitutions.”

“The best online shopping and delivery. The best app for online shopping i have used. Very punctual delivery, have only been late once in over a year and that was only be 5 minutes. Very few subsitutions and when they do they are sensible and i nearly always accept them.”
