“Worst experience ever…you can tell their company is in a pinch to make money with crashing stock price. 2018 home with a rusted hvac system and they would not drop the price or replace the system. Please stay away from open door. I’m not the only one experiencing these issues either. Looks like they have fake reviews on their website as well.”

“My mother left me a house. I was going to sell to opendoor. I sent pictures and texts. They said the house was great and would contact me soon about an offer. No calls or texts for a couple of weeks, I decided to list with a local Realtor. She had a showing 15 minutes after getting a key. Four showings yesterday and two scheduled for tomorrow. Don't waste your time!!! List with a local professional.”

“We love Opendoor! Both, selling AND purchasing a home has been a breeze thanks to this amazing company of the future-now! “My wife and I needed sale our fast without the hassle or back and forth with buyers. We received a fair and final offer on our home within 3 days! This was very helpful because of the home we wanted already had a few offers and we needed to place our offer. Being able show our home is under contract and a fair offer on our new home we got our dream home. I cannot say enough about the hassle free process offered by opendoor. All advisors were always on demand and consistently updating on the process of the sell. Thank you Opendoor!”

“Opendoor bought a house and put it right back on the market without any updates for way above market value (85k more than they paid for it 2 months prior). They misrepresented a 2 bedroom house, calling a hallway the third bedroom, which was obviously non-conforming on inspection. The house had extensive health and safety issues including dangerous electrical work and a non-functioning sewer. When we send inspection objections, they countered with an $800 credit and denied any further professional assessment. We pulled out of the contract and feel like we really dodged a bullet with that lemon of a house. We previously put in other offers with houses with them that had been sitting on the market and they denied any offers below their overpriced asking.”

“I was skeptical to try a service like Opendoor. I first talked to realtor and was not very happy with the proposal to sell my house. I got a card from Opendoor in the mail that day. I thought why not see what they have. So I got online. Filled out the form. In a few minutes I had an offer above the realtor. So I accepted. Did a walk though video with Cole Conway. Next day I had a solid cash offer. $30,000 more than the realtor was saying, and more than the original offer. I accepted the offer. Set up a closing date. Heard rumors they would lower the offer. The closer it got to closing. Never happened. Everything went smoothly. Plus closed on my other house, and still have several days before I have to be out of my old house. It was a perfect match for me. I highly recommend Opendoor and Cole Conway to sell your home as well. I’d give them a 10 if I could!!”

“Difficult to communicate with, making the home buying process more stressful than it needs to be. They require that closing be handled by their title company OS National. WHAT A NIGHTMARE. Closing date messed up, then closing time messed up, then they delayed sending payoffs ultimately costing us more money!”

“We are only speaking from our personal experiences with Opendoor on the sell side and it was phenomenal. We were offered above what we were hoping to get vs. listing with a realtor. Their 5% commission fee is reasonable and the idea of not having to stage our condo, dealing with flaky buyers along with their demands during inspection sold us immediately to go with Opendoor. From the beginning to when we closed, it was such a simple and streamlined process. Truly, the entire process exceeded our expectations. Where do you get to close in 2 weeks (we get to pick our closing date), with the funds available to you the next morning after closing. Plus, you don't have to do anything except for a virtual tour and taking photos after you moved out. AMAZING!!! We HIGHLY recommend Opendoor! The staff, and especially our sweet Experience Partner, Janelle Lagmay were with us every step of the way, answering questions and guiding us through the process. We truly believe that this is a new way of selling a home now and beyond. Thank you Opendoor!”

“Everything went as promised. I avoided the hassle of listing the house and got more than I thought I would. Closing was a week earlier than originally promised because I was able to move more quickly and turn the keys over early. I’m very satisfied.”

“Sold my home. It need some repairs I said I would fix it they told me they are not allowed to do it. They said they had to charge me to fix everything and I have no choice. They charged me a ton of money and just put the house on the market and fixed nothing at all!!! Everything the exact same! Not happy at all!!!!! Open door are scammers!!!!!!!! Watch out!!!”

“The experience with open door was amazing. After the death of my father, we had to sell my parent's house. Open door was honest and upfront. The team worked with my mom on the dates to make sure she had another place before we closed. They were very flexible with all the different rates. It was an awesome experience I would recommend them to anyone.”

“I sold a rental property to Opendoor. The entire process was accomplished within three weeks. I had professional support throughout and had a dedicated representative from Opendoor and the Title Company at all times. The closing was conducted via a computer with a Notary. The whole process was either done via phone, zoom or computer when it was a convenient time for me. The representatives were professional, courteous and patient. I had a positive experience and was happy with the offer I received.”
