“I am SO glad I used Opendoor. It was a lifesaver for us. Everything went super smoothly from start to finish. I had the pleasure of working with Stacey in AZ to sell my condo in CA. The walkthrough was simple, and Stacey responded quickly to my texts and emails when I had questions about the process. Once we decided to move forward, everything was so simple. The user portal that Opendoor has on their website was so easy to use and answered many questions I had. You literally just follow the steps and answer questions about your home and fill out disclosures on the website! Their escrow company contacted me right away regarding the property and getting a notary out to me to sign paperwork. That’s the only person I saw in the whole process. Their escrow company was also really good with communication. My husband and I have a baby, and were dreading the whole sale process of a traditional home sale, which led us to Opendoor. No open houses, no inspections, no extra repairs, no realtors, and we chose our close date! Did I mention no open houses… :) No prospective buyers wanting to come look at the property in 30 minutes and I somehow have to clean and get the baby ready to be out the door when someone wants to see the place? Not possible. So much respect for people who do.. but Opendoor made this a breeze. We may (or may not!) have gotten more money going the traditional home sale route, but for us, this relieved so much stress. It was worth every possible penny more we may have gotten (and again, after inspections and repairs, you never know!) We also had several setbacks with the house that we bought, including the sellers needing to do a rentback, and vendors having to push back repairs on the new place. I was able to push back the escrow close several times. I probably never would have been able to do that with a traditional home sale, or we would have had to temporarily move into a hotel.. just thinking of that makes me nervous! All in all, I have to say that Opendoor took so much stress away from us and for that, we are so grateful. Thank you Opendoor team!”

“I am really impressed with how convenient Opendoor has made the selling AND buying process. They bought my home and helped me secure a new house simultaneously. Even with the extended close period we required, Opendoor has been extremely flexible and accommodating for our needs, allowing us to sell and buy quickly without any setbacks. Opendoor home loans also gave me the best rate! So they literally are handling every part of the process, I love it! I am an Opendoor customer for LIFE, I'm never going back to the conventional way.”

“OpenDoor made the sale of our hose hassle-free. Originally we were selling our house "By Owner" and more than a dozen real estate agents told us that they could get us a better price. After looking into their numbers we realized that the better price would mainly cover their commission leaving us at the same asking price we had. Going with OpenDoor gave us the same price target offered by these agents; paying %5 commission; with less stress; and with a faster closing since it was a cash offer. In the end we ended up making more than what we were asking.”

“Opendoor made us a decent offer but we didn’t take it because we got one for about 12000 more. A couple weeks later Opendoor made another offer for 84000 more than their first offer. I couldn’t believe it. We had to pay about 8000 to get out of the contract we signed but it was worth it. Opendoor process was easy and convenient. Thanks Opendoor”

“They were very accommodating, though we felt we were under appraised as the home next to us was bought for $15,000 more. We had the bigger lot, a diving pool versus a small pool. They had and still have major stucco problems as they weren't repaired and the home has now been bought. Our home had no structural issues. Our downstairs was recently tiled as theirs was. We had just replaced the AC and water heater. We were told to leave the washer, dryer, and Frig; all of which were removed by the people cleaning the house. They charged us almost $10,000 for repairs and the only things done were that they repainted the house white on the inside, closed up the doggie door and did a deep clean. Those things were reported by our neighbors who were watching. I felt that they should have returned the money not spent on repairs. The most amazing thing was the company that handled the transaction.”

“Do NOT use Opendoor to sell your house or Frontier for electricity. The initial process was easy, but once the house was sold, and we moved, there was an issue with electricity. They asked us to wait three days to change it over. They never switched it over. We called and had the electricity taken out of our name, but the electric company also messed up and never shut it off!!! Apparently those useless recordings they make you do mean nothing. So, we were forced to shut it off a second time and pay for the electricity Opendoor used to renovate. No it wasn’t a ton of money, but we let Opendoor know, and they ignored us!! I just asked for reimbursement or proof they switched it over to present to the electric company. Crickets! Buyer (or really seller) BEWARE!”

“Working with Opendoor was amazingly simple. When moving to a different state for a new job so much needs to fall in place within a certain timeframe. This is our third big move so we’re not new to the process. However, I can’t imagine pulling off this move the traditional way. Opendoor helped us accomplish our goals.”

“Cheryl McQuaig and Tony Perina were incredible to work with. They had all the answers and the ways to make my life easier. Honestly, I did nothing. After a couple of phone calls with Tony, a zoom conference, showing the house that took 20 minutes and a few phone calls with Cheryl and I was DONE!! Any time I was in a panic I picked up the phone and they had the answer and I could breathe again. I remember how nervous I was and Tony said, right before the Zoom, "Just breathe and walk, I'll do the rest." And that is exactly what happened. I didn't have to deal with appointments to show the house. I didn't have to worry about what to repair, what to add money for here or there. Open Door DID IT ALL!!! If you are selling your house you are doing yourself a serious disservice by NOT going with Open Door. They will give you the most money and the most peace of mind possible.....and all you do is watch it happen. THANKS OPEN DOOR!!! THANKS CHERYL AND TONY!!! YOU ARE THE BEST!!”
