Absoulte joke of company. Needed car in emergency. They took payment for car rental and insurance. There was no car at the airport but they won't give me my money back. I can't state clearly and loudly enough how much stress this set of thieves have caused me. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I rented a car through them. RED FLAG! Avoid at all costs. Never would I do this again! They're selling you insurances (through AXA) that are not accepted on arrival at the airport and their policies aren't matching the car rental company's policies. And the best part is: You won't get a refund for anything. There's no way for you to claim anything back. DO NOT. BOOK. A. CAR. WITH. OPODO.

why why why do you steal money from people opodo you know what you do that is why you are now called the most scam so called travel agent you should be ashamed and i am happy people contact me to say they will never use you and they will pass the word on to other people all over social media

VERY BAD COSTUMER SERVICE!!!! Booked my flight via Opodo on British Airways, i needed to change the dates NO ONE got back to me after 3 days. After I cancelled online, i receive an email telling me to go directly to BA to proceed with cancellation. When i go to BA's website they told me i need to go back to Opodo. I called them back (already a journey to talk to a human being) and they confirm me i need to talk with BA directly... I talk to a human operator on BA (another epic journey) and they then tell me they are not able to cancel or modify my ticket if Opodo does not allow them... SERIOUSLY!!!!!!! iTS LIKE A DOG BITING HIS TAIL!!! An no one is taking ownership of the situation... its becoming RIDICULOUS!!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID OPODO IF YOU CAN!!!!!

This has been so far the worst experience a had by booking online. I submitted my cancellation request to my package on 15/08/2020 wich got accepted about 2 months ago. After more than one year the refund haven't reach me. Called and emailed them many times and they keep saying they're waiting for the approval of the airline(?) And that they can not refund me the money the took for my accommodation without any reason why! What a joke of company! NEVER BOOKING FROM THE AGAIN  AND YOU SHOULDN'T EITHER! I would give 0 stars if I could for this disservice

They are awful. The worst. Thieves. They need to be shut down. Absolutely the worst company ever. What they are doing is theft. Their CEO should go to prison. Took my money, flight was cancelled by airline, I paid for insurance...they lied about telling the airline to refund my money. Scum.

STAY AWAY from OPODO. I bought flights, payment has gone through. They haven't send a booking email, I am trying to log in to their app or website but my email is not recognised. There is no one to help (only the stupid robot that is useless). I have contacted them via facebook and is also the robot responding..... Is a nightmare, almost two months since I bought those tickets. I don't understand how a company can get away with this lack of contact

I will never recommend anyone uses Opodo, i have been waiting over 2 years for a refund and then to be told we can only might have vouchers. Customer services is appalling difficult to understand accent and they just lie and keep you on hold and keep apologising just paying lip service.

Bought a ticket with what turned out to be a nearly impossible connection to make, spent 6 hours waiting for next flight. Went to cancel my return flight to avoid this issue but... cannot cancel, cannot get reimbursed. Hours on the phone being charged and no answer, with an answering maching that tells you to use a chat. I used the chat and after a very long, drawn out conversation, the person told me they couldn't do anything. Expensive lesson for me, but lesson nonetheless.

Avoid Avoid Rip Off I have just booked a car with them less than 1hr ago. For pick up tonight. I booked and paid in full online with a debit card , including enhanced insurance /waiver. Turns out without a credit card I cannot pick up the car. So I have to cancel. THEY ARE REFUSING TO REFUND THE ENHANCED INSURANCE AND ALSO CHARGED A £43 FEE!!!!! Then when I try to cancel the booking online.... The cancellation button doesn't work!!! AND they say it's a 20 day refund process.... What a joke!!!!

This has to be the most dishonest, disrespectful, lying, thieving company I have EVER had the misfortune to deal with. I called them to raise a number of issues, not least being the rogue £130 that disappeared from my bank account AFTER my ticket purchase left my account. I have on several occasions, via their customer service phone line, requested a printed itemised breakdown of these rogue amounts, each time I have been told they will send it, but it will take 24 hours. Well over a week and several calls still nothing. They have given me a verbal breakdown of this amount...it's basically them charging me twice for the same seats I've already paid for (and have documents and bank statements to prove this) and for luggage that I have already paid for (again I have documentation to back this up). They have also charged me for some 'service charge' that I absolutely did not request either. They said it's non refundable, but as I pointed out had it been something I'd requested I'd be covered by the 14 day cooling off period as it's an online purchase, so either way I want it refunded (haven't used it as we've not travelled yet)! When I tried to point out that I have already paid for these things and that it's a duplicate charge, they hang up. Every. Single. Time. I was finally told by an advisor to raise an online ticket, when I eventually located this (not where they said I'd find it either btw but in amongst a feed on Opodo's Facebook, all comments have since vanished there too). Anyway, I submitted this form as requested well over a week ago (I gave them the benefit of the doubt as we have had a bank holiday weekend during this time) but I have not heard a single thing from them! Sadly, I also took out travel insurance with Opodo too, I have on several occasions requested documents to explain exactly what this covers me for...guess what...they've sent nothing. So, on the strength of this, and my ever dwindling faith in this utter joke of a company I have taken out travel insurance elsewhere as I don't feel able to rely on Opodo. I want their insurance charge crediting too as we are yet to travel and I will not be relying on their insurance just in case. All in all, when Googling flights and Opodo pops ups, do yourself a massive favour and keep scrolling past, their alleged 'cheap flights' are a con, even without them charging me twice, they're not cheaper, not even close I've found. I do not know how this company is still allowed to trade and hasn't been shut down for it's shonky, shady and frankly disgraceful practices.

I bought tickets at convenient times and the booking was confirmed, but after a week I received a message from OPODO that the flight details had been changed and now the times are the worst they can be. I confirmed the flight on the way to the destination (because I was afraid it is already too close to look for another option) and *I did not confirm* the return flight. I clicked on the "Refund" option. Two months later and a thousand phone calls and emails to OPODO they can not confirm the refund (which is even though I did not board the return flight at all and bought other tickets at another company!) More than that! OPODO also charged me for MEMBERSHIP I have no idea why at 54 euros !! For no service! In total, the time I spent on Opodo, the unnecessary money, and the grief are worth three flights ... I will never use this horrible agency again which is nothing more than a scam. Just a scam!

Thieving, Robbing, Scum. Booked a flight on China Eastern, called to cancel, they said I had to do that myself. 4 weeks later, with "wait 2-3 working days" this went on for a month before they said "Why not just claim the insurance?". 5 weeks later - you will get a refund in 10 days. 11 days later - Your refund came in on the 1st, or 2nd depending on the agent you speak to - it will take 2 weeks. These people need to be stopped by someone!

ABSOLUTE SCAM! If I could rate 0 stars I would! 18months later, still no refund. Multiple promises of callbacks and nothing! I have wasted hours on the phone with this poor excuse of an agency. Spoke directly to airline and they say they have no record of a refund request! Have requested recordings of my phonecalls and they refuse to provide them (illegal under GDPR!). DO NOT RISK IT!!!!

SIMPLE - NEVER USE THIS COMPANY Used this company to book flights for family holiday of 11 to Portugal. Absolutely awful experience, they take your money then don't want to know. Downloaded the app to manage bookings etc and just doesn't work, tried on a desktop site as well with no luck. You have absolutely no chance getting through to them on the phone and even if you do (hours of trying/holding) they are pretty much useless and don't do what they promise to do anyway. Book directly with airline or through a travel agent - DO NOT USE THIS 3RD PARTY COMPANY. I wish I had read the reviews first!

give me wrong information on their app about my flight details. The flight flew a day later, and as a result we had to stay over night near the airport. Then we missed our connecting flight because because of the the different dates. It was their suggestion that i used their app as the best way to manage my flight. very disappointed and incurred a lot of extra expense because of their mistake. I don't know if I am i entitle to compensation.
