I wouldn’t even give them one star but had to so I could open the box to give my review. I will never use this company again night before flying out I printed my boarding passes only to discover no luggage for the whole of my family except two so franticly phoned Opodo up and was advise yes should be I said it’s not so was advised nothing they can do and give me Wizz airlines number for me to sort out and was advised if I had to pay for my luggage Opodo would refund me Not what you want to hear the night before flying out . Then only to discover I had been given a Polish telephone number . So I had to re phone Opodo to talk to yet another operator and yet again explain everything only to be told yet again I would have to sort it myself and they would refund me for their mistake . So at my wits end I had to sort it out with Wizz air who had to cancel my booking in so I could add our cases and pay for themas Opodo hadn’t paid for my luggage . Previous in the week I had also paid Opodo to add two cases on my return flight with BA which I discovered on return they had not added yet again. Armed with all my receipts and proof of all their mistakes what I thought would be an easy refund has turned into a nightmare they have only paid half my money back . I will be taking action against them if this is not sorted and will be going to omnibusman . All I want is my money back they blundered . I wouldn’t recommend this company at all and customer service is unreal . Have spoke to people and emailed

Booked a flight with Opodo in March to travel in late December, but then getting an email on the 02 of November that my flight has been cancelled. I understand that this wasn't Opodo's fault, but it has been 5 days now since I have been requesting a refund for the cancelled flight and haven't received any confirmation that they will even refund my money back. I have spoken to the airline directly, and they told me that they will refund in full, but it has to come through Opodo. So for me, it was the first and last time that I have used Opodo as it has been a terrible experience. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Worst experience ever! My flight was cancelled and opodo is refusing to act according to european law! Theyre criminals and scammers! Never going to book with them again! Im still waiting for my refund! I can only warn people to stay away from Opodo!

PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE.THEY SCAM YOU. THEY SHOW LOW PRICE ON FINAL SCREEN BUT AMOUNT THAT GETS DEDUCTED IS WAY HIGH. AND THEN THEY DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY

Three travellers booked a return flight to Delhi. All three of us were supposed to have same bags on return but Virgin app said hand baggage only. Apparently this happens a lot. Won’t be using them again. We have to pay for the two suitcases and attempt a refund. Opodo wouldn’t sort their error directly.

They are completely scammers.. I paid money for extra baggage, but it was not registered at the airport. And they are liars, what is bought from them is completely different from what is in the checkin

I bought an airplane ticket in September 2023 through Opodo (from a link provided by skyscanner) and then notice a month later Opodo charge me 80 EUR for a Prime Membership I NEVER ASKED FOR and I NEVER REGISTERED FOR. They charged my credit card a second time with no prior notice, nor any kind of agreement from me (I didn't even signup to their site). On their membership site I cannot discard the credit card nor stop the membership nor ask for refund or anything. So I phoned them 45 minutes international call with 3 different agents none were able to discard my credit card from their database or cancel my membership and refund. At the end Opodo is making it impossible to get back my money and who knows what they will do with my credit card I need to cancel it I think. I am now in contact with my lawyer. Opodo is pure scam, fraudster at its best, Avoid Opodo like plague.

Never a straight forward process. My flight started at £12 and ended up costing £160, then I get a message from Ryan Air to say that they 'don't always get the correct customer info' from Opodo and I had to go though a lengthy procedure, downloading an app and then sending phot ID and MORE MONEY. Total joke.

I booked a flight through Opodo, and later that month I received an email telling me that my ‘complementary Opodo Prime account would be automatically renewed for around £60’! As I had never signed up for this in the first place, I obviously tried to cancel it immediately. I first tried their ‘recommended method’ of the app: after going through about half a dozen pages of ‘WARNING’ and ‘ARE YOU SURE?’ against cancellation, then the page would freeze and the ‘cancel my subscription’ would not work. After trying this a few times with no further luck, I tried to cancel online, following their instructions (which, incidentally, claimed this to be ‘very easy’). Again, on the final step I kept getting ‘sorry, we have encountered a problem’, rather conveniently. I tried this for a couple of days, with the same result. I then tried their chat bot facility: when I clicked on their ‘easy to cancel’ button, it kept taking me back to the beginning of the chat. Eventually, I tried the ‘VIP prime service’ number that they quoted on their email, which was actually incorrect. I searched online and found the correct number, which I rang. After holding on for over 35 minutes for their ‘VIP service’ (!!!), the agent again tried all the ‘are you sure ?’ and all sorts of stalling and delaying tactics, eventually agreeing to cancel this. The call took me over an hour overall! This is an unacceptable con, trying to blindside people to signing up to this useless service, and then do everything possible to prevent you cancelling. It is surely illegal??? Anyway, AVOID AT ALL COSTS: IT WILL COST YOU, LITERALLY!!

Scammers. They have an absolutely dishonest way of operating. After 1 month of purchasing a ticket for 19 EU, they charged 65 EU on my card without any kind of authorization. They saved my card details and stole the amount claiming a subscription to Opodo Prime that was surely subscribed by default when I made the purchase, however I never found out. A most dishonest way to get money.

They charged me for a round-trip when I was trying to book a one-way. In fact, discovered through the airline directly that I had booked a round-trip flight, though Opodo still only showed me having a one-way ticket. I now have a return flight I cannot take or cancel or alter in any way. Trying to navigate their website or mobile app is ridiculously difficult; no access to live agents despite having a "Prime Membership" and cancelling that proved to be difficult bordering impossible as well. (Though I think/hope I've finally succeeded; I've cancelled the credit card that was associated with the account just to be sure they can't charge me for anything else!) Avoid Opodo like the plague.

Came to pick up my car and told I had the wrong card. Told by the suppler in Crete that Opodo could change the booking so I could still hire a car for myself, wife and 9 month old son. I spoke with Opodo who I tried calling for about 1 hour that by the time I got in trough my booking was past two hours and now they could do nothing. Lady on the phone was rude and unhelpful. Terrible service. Avoid like that plague.

If I could give them no stars I would. After just over a week of our flights been cancelled we still haven't recieved a penny back. We booked through opodo as we had heard great things but what a disappointment. Our flight was cancelled 20minutes before take off. No fault of opodo but I expected them to help/refund us something. We were prime members. Made no difference. We paid cancellation fees when booking. Made no difference. We even told them what the airport/airline told us to do. Made no difference. Overall I will never use this company again and anyone that goes to will regret it if something happens to their holiday through no fault of there own. Just shy of £900 we have lost and all we recieved was an email apologising as the airline hadn't got back to their email and there was nothing more they could do regarding the matter. Laughable is an understatement.

My bank sent me a text w frau alert as opodo deducted money for my prime membership without informing me via email before. I try to cancel now since yesterday without success. The numbers they have available on the webpage are not working. Complaints/contact to custumor service seems to be just possible w booking reference which I obviously don't have I tried to leave a feedback and got an auto response / Email no longer monitored If you want to life chat and type in cancel member ship it's a chat bot which explains how to do it but it does not work as the website/app is not giving the option described by the chatbot or on various internet webpages. I probably might have to get in contact with the government fraud service as it appears lots of people have the same issue and my bank advised me to report this to the police.

They charged me for a 10kg bag which when I came to check in disappeared and I would have been charged again by the airline. I decided I would wear little instead! Prime membership rip off… charging for BS service. Can’t cancel it. Had to put a stop on it at the bank! No web chat … not impressed!
