“Can't contact by phone Can't contact by email When reply from an Opodo email, the response come as follows: Dear customer, Thanks for contacting Opodo. We are sorry to inform you that this email address is no longer used for Support services purposes. Same things for phone number. If I succeeded in getting an Opodo phone number and next time the line is not available anymore. I'm still looking for a way to contact opodo. Never again Opodo. No live chat.”

“NO STARTS FOR THIS SITE, A SCAM, BEEN WAITING TWO MONTHS AFTER REFUND REQUESTED MULTIPLE TIMES HAD NO RESULTS, WE WILL NEED TO SUE THIS GUYS, WORST COMPANY IN THE WORLD. ILLEGAL WHAT THEY ARE DOING, STOLE 300 POUNDS”

“Hi there, I would like to cancel my flight to Malta – Booking Ref – 4934258637 . I’d also like to claim a full refund on “cancel any time for any reason” insurance I purchased. You’ve stated previously that the terms and conditions void the insurance because the flight was cancelled due to a “force majeure” event. However the flight hasn’t been cancelled, I can see on my booking page that as I write my email it is still active. So the insurance is still applicable. I’d like to cancel because I no longer want to go, this is a valid reason according to your term and conditions, again I’m not cancelling because of any force majeure event. The flight hasn’t been cancelled so the insurance is still applicable and my reason is valid. For the above reasons I expect a full refund asap. Let me know if there are any issues with the above. “Opodo still haven't refunded me after 90 days I booked flights through Opodo in January. The flights were cancelled on their side so I requested a refund. I was told I would get a refund within 90 days. I know that the airline authorised and processed the refund, so Opodo are now holding onto my money. Opodo have no closed their 0800 and has replaced it with a premium 0871 number so costs will be exorbitant to call them to ask where my refund is. They also have no email address so it impossible to email them. This all happened before all the COVID 19 crisis was in full force. If I could give 0 stars I would.”

“booked hire car for Tampa Florida Dec 19. cancelled on 20/3/20 due to flight being cancelled by British airways (British airway have not paid me any money back for flights even though they cancelled) don't get me started. opodo told us it would be 20 days for refund for car hire cancellations.have not heard a thing. tried e mailing returned back. tried phoning no joy there. £538.60 they need to refund. its o.k. though because they are still taking bookings for flights and car hire! so they are o.k. this is a multi million pound travel company. shame on you. hitting the small man. we have been stitched up by British airways for flights and opodo for car hire. I can feel a court case coming on. Hilton hotel paid our money back within days thanks Hilton our dog kennel paid back strait away thanks hilltops' did not want to give a star rating but needed a star to post.”

“I booked my flight last January but it's been cancelled due Corona virus I keep phoning opodo but it's divirted to India customer service in India saying the airline will refund my money with then 90days but untill now still waiting for my refund nothing happen yet.its nearly 5month already they. Are very quick taken your money but it's a long time to return it”

“If I could give Opodo no stars I would. Despite having an airline sanctioned refund from canceled flights with SAS and having email proof from SAS Airlines Opodo is not processing my refund. I was actually on the phone with SAS airlines whilst their agent updated their systems to instruct Opodo to issues refunds for my flights. Opodo is now pretending it is awaiting confirmation from the Airline. From what I can see online Opodo is still operating and taking money from people meaning they are effectively behaving like highway robbers. Don’t believe the 5-star review claiming to be from passenger’s who have supposedly received refunds either, they are fake 1 line reviews. My next step is to issues court proceedings against them in the UK and seek a winding-up petition.”

“Absolutely useless bunch of liars. They have my money(which I got back from Jet2 within 3 days of flight cancellation, but they sent it to Opodo who I booked with). This was beginning of April. Now telling me finance dept. is closed and no refunds being given. They are illegal and immoral. DO NOT USE THEM.”

“I was on holiday in Thailand when Emirates cancelled my return flights had to sort my own REPATRIATION out never heard anything from opodo been home since 23rd March luckily I got the last available flight before Emirates cancelled all commercial flights it cost me £878 to get home good job I had my credit card or I probably would still be there . Customer service is a shambles will never use them again.”

“I bought three business class air tickets through Opodo in March 2020, then the flight were cancelled by the airline. I tried hundreds of time to contact Opodo for a refund but with no luck. It has been two months by now and my £15K just disappeared like that! There's no contact email, no contact telephone from Opodo's website, no customer service at all. All the emails were automatically returned by their system. There's no human behind the online chatting system but some auto answered questions. The website looks promising but it's not the case at all. I didn't receive any help from them for this matter. They manage to make themselves totally un-contactable!! What' a shame!! Can't express how disappointed I am with their service and will never ever use them again.”

“Basically , if there is something wrong, you want to change or cancel or apply for the refund, you will never get it.. Their strategy is, they receive your phone call, and every call receiver NEED to somehow CONSULT with their collegues and ask you to stay and wait, which will cost almost half of the hour. Either you hang off the phone or you pay for the calling fee, either way you lose (time and money ). This is really disgusting. I called over 10times to ask for from change the flight to totally cancel it. Each time they use the same strategy . Just don't use this agency !!! Stay away from them !!”

“I've tried to get a refund or voucher for my canceled flight. Opodo told me to call the airline the airline told me that opodo hasn't sent any customer details. I have paid with opodo so they are responsible. But no answer. 100% fraud stay away from this website!”

“Absolutely disgusting company would never book with them again, they changed my flight Christmas Eve without emailing or contacting me , didn’t even update there app, due to this I missed Christmas with my family, when putting a complaint you hear nothing back, it’s been 5 months not even 1 email back to apologise, Don’t use them”

“Dreadful experience which echoes that of other reviews. Over £2.5k of long distance flights cancelled by Malaysia Airlines but only offered vouchers by Opodo, with whom I booked the trip. Tried to reach them but they don't answer phones or provide an email contact. Spoke to Malaysian Airlines who confirmed a refund should be issued by Opodo, they even contacted them directly and provided an email address to forward an email confirming the same. Opodo's automated reply received to say I gave to take it up with the airline and may have to wait up to 3 months!! Shocking! They should not be allowed to operate...don't make the same mistake I made.”
