“We became acquainted with Pets Best through my membership in the Military Officers Association of America. Pets Best has been exceptionally competent, expeditious and customer friendly in their review and processing of our claims for our Biewer Terrier. Pets Best updates us in a timely fashion as to the review process and status pf a claim. We highly recommend Pets Best as the health insurance carrier for pets.”

“Covered in office treatments were denied on my recent claim despite always being covered and the explanation of benefits told me to review a section on my coverage that explained why they WERE COVERED. I tried to contact pets best but so far no response.”

“They take months to review and approve claims then deny most items claiming the vet didn’t respond. Yet, my vet has never been contacted by them. Why do they need a full medical record for our dog to get his yearly shots and then deny it anyway? Scam of a company. Would not recommend them at all.”

“$360 claim, took over 20 days to end up telling me all I was getting back was $24. When I called asked what the holdup was, I was just told they were backed up and it could be completed tomorrow or.. in a month. So yeah, definitely thinking of going elsewhere if it takes them this long and I had to foot the full bill along with the interest because it took 20+ days to even get processed”

“Pets Best misleads consumers on their coverage. The ads tell you to choose your coverage and deductible. They lead you to believe you'll be reimbursed for the percentage you've chosen over the deductible. Somewhere in the back pages the fine print shows how they calculate that percentage. It's not a simple calculation of percentage times the total amount over the deductible. It's on a item level which seems to calculate in their favor. My $440 amount over the deductible with an 80% reimbursement came to a $150 reimbursement check via Pets Best math.”

“After understanding the deductible rules, I love Pets Best. My favorite is the live customer support. Reps are always polite, understanding, and patient with my questions & concerns. I will be renewing my policy when it’s expired.”

“I have had no complaints for Pets Best pet insurance. We have had a 6 week ordeal with our silver lab having surgery on both back legs. They have honored our policy religiously and promply with no hesitation. I would recommend Pets Best for anyone searching for pet insurance.”

“My female dog has recurrent UTIs that requires antibiotics, AmoxiClav. AmoxiClav is a form of Clavamox, and Clavamox is on the medication approved list. Every time I submit a claim for AmoxiClav, it is refused. Recently, I obtained all dr notes for my female and the newest claim for AmoxiClav was approved. It would have been helpful to know that more dr notes were needed to get the $126 medication reimbursed the prior 4 times!”
